  2. Acrobat DC crashing on MacBook Pro OS 10.15.6.

Any time I open Acrobat, it crashes/quits immediately. I can not do anything. It has been happening since I updated my OS.

  4. After updating to Premier Pro version 14.7 (Windows OS 10 Pro) labelling clips no longer works. Only in “Freeform View” do the label colors show, not in “List View.” Had to downgrade to version 14.5 to get labeling function to return. FYI, most editors use the labeling function to organize clips.

  5. For combining pdf's in adobe pro would be nice to have a option that you can drag a other pdf directly from outlook into a other pdf file without opening the file. You now need to open bove pdf's first to combine it would be faster to open one pdf and then drag the other once right away into one pdf.

  6. Acrobat desperately needs a PRESENTER MODE, so that a pdf can be shared in an online meeting as a presentation, without the toolbars showing. Full Screen does NOT work because you can't see the meeting or the notes. Read Mode is close, but still shows the tabs which looks unprofessional.

I'm shocked that this is not available, when so many of us are doing virtual presentations!! PLEASE FIX THIS FAST!!

  9. I frequently open PDFs from a web browser and have no idea where they actually live in a temp folder and would use File > Save As to save it somewhere I would recognize like OneDrive or the Desktop. This option seems to be gone. I can export it in any format under the sun except save it as another PDF. Even a right-click > Show in File Explorer would be useful. Thank you.

  10. I don't understand why I have to sign in every time I want to view a document or why it will not keep me signed in. It is horribly inconvenient to have to sign in every day, just to view pdfs.

  11. Everything works fine when I create a droplet, but if I edit a droplet in the Preflight window, the droplet becomes corrupted. When I execute the droplet, I get an OS error "You can’t open the application <droplet name> because it may be damaged or incomplete."

I investigated via Show Package Contents in Finder, and found that the directory structure in modified droplets is different from the directory structure of a non-modified droplet – see attached screenshots.

I'm running the latest Acrobat (20.0) on macOS Mojave (10.14.6), and I also experienced the same problem a few months ago on High Sierra,…

  14. the current way Acrobat DC handles documents seems broken and confusing , resulting in lost work, overly compressed documents and a disjointed creation and editing process.

if i edit text or an image and then export it then come back edit it again and re-compress it it should not be double compressing the images and deteriorating them with composite compression artifacts ...

forcing the user to declaire a document the master and export the document as a compressed pdf file would correct some of this workflow confusion.

  15. Action Wizard is poorly done. You had it right in earlier versions of Acrobat - a user could create an action, such as removing security (and entering the password) by recording it and then use it for batch processing files. Taking that out ruined workflow in this program and has made it tedious and cumbersome.

  16. There used be a setting where you would create a bookmark and it would capture whatever the view ...... not zoom......view of the page. For example, lets say I am bookmarking a picture on a page and its sort of to the lower middle of the page and small. I used to use the dynamic zoom to this object and bookmark it. The bookmark would not only keep the custom zoom, but the location on the page as well. After the most recent update, this option is no longer default. You have to go bookmark by bookmark and adjust them…

  17. The Acrobat Portfolio folders are easy to create, and you can import files into them, but you can't move files that are already in the portfolio into the folders. The Acrobat website says you can, but I have the most recent version of Acrobat Pro and when I try to drag and drop a file into a folder, I get an error: "file not found".

  19. It would be great if the "Compare Files" function had a concluding option instead of just comparison.
I would really like to see in the next version the ability to "accept/reject" changes, then have Acrobat kick out a completed version with all of the final changes.

  20. In going to the support page to troubleshoot a glitch in Acrobat DC Pro that I had just purchased, the chat window required a 24 digit serial number before transferring me to a live agent. I looked and looked and later found out there IS NO SERIAL number for subscription based products. So please add order number or some other way to get to a live chat without a half hour of frustration. Thank you.
