  3. slow and laggy

    CoolType: 5.14.5
    JP2K: 1.2.2.42216

    Incredibly slow and laggy, UI is almost unusable. Using 50% - 100% of a single core just to scroll. Ironically I am trying to read the Adobe PDF Reference, Third Edition.

    Really Adobe? I can't even read a 9MB file ABOUT the PDF specification in YOUR OWN software without it slowing to a crawl?

  5. Opt out of pop ups for latest version-if I needed cloud, I would ask for itr

    Request to opt out of pop ups for latest version of Adobe Acrobat Standard DC. If I needed cloud, I would ask for it. Opening a file takes long enough without stopping to close pop up.

  6. DISABLE DOWNLOAD

    For the european GPDR rules it would be greate when sending a file with Send and track to disable the download option. So receivers can only view the file from the Adobe cloud but they cannot download it.

  7. measure text

    the measure tool has no way of increasing dimension text height.

    bluebeam has this. really the measure tool is way behind what engineers and construction guys need,

  8. Allow Action Wizard to "Close" files

    The feature was available on early versions which made batch processing easier. I believe it allowed the user to Execute a Menu Item. Please bring it back. The javascript work arounds all seem to have their own little issues.

  10. Does nobody moderate this forum for spam?

    Endless nonsense issues about some "cash app", registering Google Drive, Verizon password… Even tried flagging them but they're still there over 24 hours later; clearly no-one even at Adobe gives a rat's a-hole about this place.

  11. Acrobat "home" screen is annoying

    I just upgraded to Acrobat Pro DC, and am frustrated that every time I open a PDF I have to deal with this open "home" window cluttering up my desktop. It obstructs my workflow. I don't understand what the point of it is. There doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of it.

  12. Acrobat DC is slow

    Acrobat DC is very slow to view the files. Checking the separations and toggling 2 documents. It would be great, if you work on this. Slowness is very much frustrating.

  16. "Content preparation progress" takes too long

    Whenever opening pdf file, Acrobar Pro DC always shows a window titled as 'content preparation progress". This takes too long and blocks file content & makes hard to read file content.
    Sometimes several minutes, sometimes forever!
    This needs to be improved.

  17. Remove Document Cloud Feature

    Due to corporate policy, we are not allowed to use external servers, Document Cloud is such a server. Our documents are not to be loaded to any external servers.
    Can we have the ability to remove the Document Cloud from view or code-wise?
    We can not have our confidential documents going to Adobe's servers.

  18. Out of Memory Error/Draw Error

    I am running Adobe Acrobat DC on a Windows 7 machine with 16GB of RAM and an NVidia NVS 310 Graphics Card. I have no issues regarding visual display or memory with other software. When running Adobe Acrobat DC, I frequently encounter issues where the file/program crashes, giving an error that it is Out of Memory or encountering a Draw Error. This has happened while reading multiple different PDF files, usually after I have been scrolling through the file for a short time. Usually, when this message occurs the page displays as a blank white page, and if I continue…

  19. Give option to remove AI assistant

    Please give an option to entirely remove AI assistant. I do not want it, I do not want its features, its extra data use, its distracting button. This should be an opt-in addon , not an imposed feature.

  20. STOP hiring idiots! This new PDF reader sucks 100% . What is wrong with you poeple.
