  2. It is dead slow! I have an 64bit Windows 10 laptop and it takes almost two minutes to exit it! I will toss it for a pirate copy without cloud options.
    It sucks big time.

  4. whenever I add rich media to a PDF, Acrobat Pro DC keeps crashing making it useless. and annoying as I just bought it so it's the latest version.I have a 2016b mac book air. help!

    Apologies for the trouble, can you provide some sample rich media PDFs with which you are facing this.

  5. DC Pro is totally unreliable, whether creating a pdf, trying to access a pdf or saving the program displays "DC Pro not responding. Happens very frequently making the program useless. Have worked with support 3 times no resolve. Occurs on both my WIN10 and WIN7 computers, never had a problem with ver 7 through 10. Pay lots for DC team but will have to look for another vendor.

  6. It would be great to be able to open 2 PDF pages next toeach other for easy comparison, i.e. when comparing two people on a geneology site

    You can try the following –
    Go to Organize Pages App to move the pages you want to see next to each other.
    Then go to View→Display Options and select Two pages.

  9. When I send emails with PDF's as attachments, the PDF's are not showing up in the email at the recipient's end. Word and XL doc's , etc. work just fine... WTF?!

    I am not sure if this is an Acrobat issue. But still, are you facing this issue with any particular email client?

  11. If you have the "new" DC Reader...get rid of it.
    it's slow.
    it's choppy.
    The phrase "Not Responding" shows up more than a taxi in New York City.
    This has got to be the crappiest Adobe product I've ever had the displeasure of working with.
    I've told my company's IT department to start looking for something else.
    Acrobat Reader DC is pure American ****.

    I suggest you update your Reader to the latest version and if you still face any issues please elaborated them and allow us to help you.

  12. I'm using Adobe Acrobat DC and MadCap Flare 2018 r2 on a Windows 10 operating system.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Build a PDF in Flare.
    2. Open the PDF from inside Flare.
    3. Double-click on a different PDF in Windows Explorer.

    Expected result: Second PDF opens.
    Actual result: Second PDF does not open. The error message that shows up sometime later says: Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server.

    MadCap support has been unable to resolve the issue.

  14. I mostly use the Edit or Prepare Form tools. While I'm updating my document, Acrobat crashes at random times. There is nothing consistent, it just seems to be more finicky after the most recent update. After it crashes, I reopen it and the customized toolbar on the right has reverted back to the default tools. This is very inconvenient and happens several times a day while editing or preparing a document. Is this a known issue and is there a fix for this?

  15. When I first open Acrobat the first time I try to do a SAVE AS to a different location...the document is not saved to the target location. Second time I tray it, document IS saved to target location.

  20. I use hyperlinking a lot (in DC too). It works well for me, but often Adobe Acrobat DC stops working - freezes, and I need to restart the programme
