Acrobat DC closing automatically
Acrobat DC began closing automatically, again. This is two weeks after I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled. Whether I open a pdf file from the Explorer window or open Acrobat and then select the file to open, the program closes automatically 10-15 seconds after it opens. After reinstalling the program, the problem continues. I have already tried the suggestions from an earlier post (updating the software from the Help menu, repairing the software from the Help menu and running Acrobat distiller). It does seem to be checking my registration status, but does not remain open long enough for me…

I use hyperlinking a lot (in DC too). It works well for me, but often Adobe Acrobat DC stops working - freezes.

Preview GIFs & Video online on Adobe Acrobat send & track links
Adobe Acrobat does not have this feature available yet.
ie: https://cloud.acrobat.com/send
Needs the following features online:
Preview GIF animations & Preview videos online.
Right now you can only view content as a static JPG you have to download all assets in order for the client to preview files. This creates a redundant step for a client especially if they are not tech savvy.
Gifs have to be reopened with a browser & videos need to be viewed on the clients video player.
If the link is already online not understanding why you need to download & reopen in a browser…

Extract attachments and place them behind the parent email
When converting Outlook email all the attachment to be converted as a full blown document so it can be reviewed and redacted if necessary. I've attached two files to show you what I mean. I have to use a third party software to do this and it would be very helpful for Adobe to do it, especially for the legal community who need to review and redact documents.2 votes -
Measure Tool - Repeatedly Crashing
The measure tool causes the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC app to constantly crash, I have used the tool on two separate brand new laptops, yet the problem happens on both. Is there a problem with the tool?

Freeze Issue When Zooming with Scroll Wheel
When zooming with the scroll wheel, Acrobat freezes and I get a spinning beach ball. The files I am working with are not large, but they do consist of lots of lines/content streams sometimes. If anyone can offer support for this, it would be greatly appreciated. I encounter this issue multiple times a day and it appears to happen only if I am trying to zoom with the wheel right after it opens and Acrobat is still trying to load the creative cloud profile, or when I have been working in the file for a period of time and try…

Acrobat shows bullets in special PDF, other PDF Viewers don't
The attached PDF seems to be correct, so we would like to know why there are bullets shown when it is opened in Acrobat?
There is also an error in Acrobat: "Cannot extract embedded font 'CIDFont+F5' ..."
There are not this kind of bullets with other PDF viewers like Foxit, Nuance..
These errors don't happen in the attached optimized PDF.1 vote -

The ability to add a shortcut key to execute an Action Wizard
If that is to difficult to make it available in the top menu or screen. Currently many clicks are needed to start it.
My next question is to be able to close the file which was transformed by the Action Wizard, but CTRL+W is okay as well.5 votes -

Adobe Digital Editions - Enable Windows Arrow Keys for scrolling page, navigating
This is a request for Adobe Digital Editions. Navigatng in the reader would be much easier if arrow keys were enabled OR if you could select between trackpad to select and trackpad to scroll.

Extract transmittal info for PDF’d emails
After bulk converting folders of emails to PDF it would be extremely handy to be able to export the list of emails for transmittal. A pdf or text file of the visible list of emails in one file within adobe for excel to creat a detailed transmittal would be time saving.
Basic info for a transmittal is required and is available in the adobe list for each email in a group of emails in a pdf’d batch. Info like: .Sender/Receiver Address, Date & time Sent/Received, Subject, attachment #, etc. One line per email within a “group” folder of bulk exported…1 vote -

Portfolios created in earlier versions of acrobat opened in Acrobat DC
Currently in acrobat dc opening old portfolios created with older versions are rendered useless. Very few options for operations are available. To convert older portfolios suitable in dc, I had to go through following process:
There is a way to convert xi portfolio to dc portfolio:
Try this:
Open portfolio created in xi in acrobat dc
right click anywhere, select all - this will select all files in portfolio
extract files
save to a temporary folder, say working files
select all files in working files folder
right click, combine files in acrobat
select save as portfolio or uncheck save as…2 votes -
readable hyperlinks
I am unable to browse the URL that was generated with Microsoft Word 2007, there is no option to browse to the URL in question for some reason or to make better use of HTML tags.
I can browse to https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=6393913409312112068#allposts/src=sidebar, using Google Chrome but when I click through the file I cannot browse through to the blog included within the PDF that was exported as a PDF for it to be read only, hopefully.

Make it stable guys.
Acrobat reader is extremly slow and freezes up a lot. crashing has been reduced over time but it still lags for about 5 to 6 seconds after opening a pdf. openign a pdf file also take a lot of time.
The editing capablities are poorly designed. no snapping. no aligninig to page. the most terible app that adobe has ever made is this. you guys devloped pdf and you can't even open it without 6 second freezing. i am very disaapointed. please fix the whole thing.

No Support
I am very new to this. But, each time I have gone to a Feedback section, regardless of the topic, the response from Adobe is some variation of "Great idea, Frank. I will forward your feedback to . . . . . .
and they will get back to you before you die; hopefully." They seem incapable of providing a helpful, substantive response1 vote
