  1. using saveAs in Adobes JavaScript, e.g.:
    this.saveAs(arrDocPath.join("/"));

    … results in the attached error message, if path or filename contains exclamation mark (!) or dollar sign ($) – both valid characters in all leading operation systems.

    Using GUI for saving of course is possible. You have got reported an adequate problem with commas 2009 which has been fixed nine years later. Would be nice, if fixing this problem would be possible some faster.

    Please let me also express my astonishment, that while fixing the comma problem nobody seemed to check other – from operation systems point of view also valid –…

  2. Please create a 64-bit version of the Adobe Acrobat Professional for the Windows platform. I work with adobe files that are greater than 10,000 pages quite frequently and although my computer has 24 gigabytes of DRAM, the program cannot utilize my computer. For example, I have legislative transcripts that I compile by the session, and I would like to be able to use a single PDF file while doing my research.

    Please, give us Windows users the type of PDF performance found on Macs.

  3. Rotten PDF saving. Why is it I constantly get Adobe saying I have to save the document using another name as this document is already open when I have closed the document and Adobe, see attachment.

    You may be getting this error because the same pdf file is currently open in some other program e.g. it may be open in browser or some email Clint

    Requesting you to close other application and again try this scenario.
    Please get back to us if you again face the same issues.

  4. I would like to protect our company reports from being edited (mainly text), however, I would like my clients to be able to combine our report into their appendices.

  9. Adobe will skip the last few pages when searching for terms the first time. I have to go back and forth for it to be "found".

  10. Zoom previous is a shorthand reference for go back to the previous view. It is an existing feature in numerous graphically intense systems like CAD, MCAD, ECAD.

    It is a convenient and efficient way to restore the view. Reasons to use it are: 1. correct a zoom error or 2. zoom in to examine something closely and zoom back out to an overview

  11. A few versions ago, Acrobat/Portfolio had options on how to present your portfolio, Carousel was one option I used when combining all our company literature for our salesmen. The New Acrobat DC (Professional) doesn't have that and wish it did. It gave the portfolio a nice professional look to it, a feature I would expect from Adobe.

  12. When I convert a photo to a PDF, insert that into a PDF document and then add page numbering, the following problems arise:

    1) on the photo-pages, the page-numbering is reduced in size to be barely visible, and

    2) when paging thru the document, non-photo-pages appear minuscule compared to photo-pages.

  13. Every online merchant offers multiple payment methods, including Credit or Debit Cards, PayPal, Apple Wallet, etc. In every case of card use there are 5 things required by Banks today. 1 Name on Card 2. Card Numbers
    3. Expiry Date 4. CVC number on the back of the card. 5. Address associated to the card .
    Adobe does not allow for the CVC nunber and most of the time, my cards are declined, for security reasons. If this continues. I will change to another PDF software,

  14. pdf documents not opening properly, with blank pages. It is worse if I try and scroll through the article soon after opening it. It will also loose text from the after a time not reading the document. This may be after the computer has been put to 'sleep' for a period (even a few minutes). It reports the error message 'Insufficient data for an image.' The new version is MUCH worse that previous versions. Please sort it out Adobe.

  15. Acrobat DC began closing automatically, again. This is two weeks after I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled. Whether I open a pdf file from the Explorer window or open Acrobat and then select the file to open, the program closes automatically 10-15 seconds after it opens. After reinstalling the program, the problem continues. I have already tried the suggestions from an earlier post (updating the software from the Help menu, repairing the software from the Help menu and running Acrobat distiller). It does seem to be checking my registration status, but does not remain open long enough for me…

    also, requesting you to try ‘Repair’ once-

    Reader or Acrobat, or the resources they rely on, could have been damaged. Repairing the installation is a quick troubleshooting safeguard.

    (Reader) Choose Help > Repair Adobe Reader Installation.
    (Acrobat) Choose Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.

  16. I use hyperlinking a lot (in DC too). It works well for me, but often Adobe Acrobat DC stops working - freezes, and I need to restart the programme

  17. Adobe Acrobat does not have this feature available yet.

    ie: https://cloud.acrobat.com/send

    Needs the following features online:

    Preview GIF animations & Preview videos online.
    Right now you can only view content as a static JPG you have to download all assets in order for the client to preview files.

    This creates a redundant step for a client especially if they are not tech savvy.

    Gifs have to be reopened with a browser & videos need to be viewed on the clients video player.

    If the link is already online not understanding why you need to download & reopen in a browser…

  18. Extract attachments and place them behind the parent email
    When converting Outlook email all the attachment to be converted as a full blown document so it can be reviewed and redacted if necessary. I've attached two files to show you what I mean. I have to use a third party software to do this and it would be very helpful for Adobe to do it, especially for the legal community who need to review and redact documents.

  19. The measure tool causes the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC app to constantly crash, I have used the tool on two separate brand new laptops, yet the problem happens on both. Is there a problem with the tool?
