If my understanding is correct, you purchased some product but could not downlaod. Can you provide some more details please? Exactly which product/version did you purchase? Did you purchase online? If so, did you receive an email with the download link?
image opens as RGB but Orig image is placed as cmyk in InDesign 2017 then saved as ADOBE PDF (preset). I can't locate any pref.2 votes

If you go into a saved document and change something you cannot save it you have to save it as a completely separate document. i.e. I edit one line to be italicized and hit save and I get a pop up error that states, "The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder.
1) I am the only user
2) I created the .pdf document yesterday and did NOT make it read-only.20 votes

You can try the following –
Go to Organize Pages App to move the pages you want to see next to each other.
Then go to View→Display Options and select Two pages.

DC Pro is totally unreliable, whether creating a pdf, trying to access a pdf or saving the program displays "DC Pro not responding. Happens very frequently making the program useless. Have worked with support 3 times no resolve. Occurs on both my WIN10 and WIN7 computers, never had a problem with ver 7 through 10. Pay lots for DC team but will have to look for another vendor.5 votes
When I send emails with PDF's as attachments, the PDF's are not showing up in the email at the recipient's end. Word and XL doc's , etc. work just fine... WTF?!2 votes
I am not sure if this is an Acrobat issue. But still, are you facing this issue with any particular email client?
If you have the "new" DC Reader...get rid of it.
The phrase "Not Responding" shows up more than a taxi in New York City.
This has got to be the crappiest Adobe product I've ever had the displeasure of working with.
I've told my company's IT department to start looking for something else.
