  1. I have Acrobat DC Pro and every time I try to reduce the file size for a PDF, the program abruptly closes without reducing file size. If I restart the computer, I can usually (but not always) reduce one file size one time before the program resumes closing upon the reduce file size command. As you can imagine, any feature that requires a restart every time I want to use it is effectively a useless feature.

  2. The new version of camera raw is inconvenient to use. I prefer the versions where the tools were at the top with icons and not on the right. it would be good if I could change versions to the previous interface myself. The new camera raw looks like LR and many people don't like it.
scrolling down is a step back for more efficient work. It slows me down personally. old camera raw interface please

  3. I am creating a C++ plugin for Acrobat, where in user can use this plugin and open the file from secured DB using Virtual file system. However, need to restrict all forms of sharing or extracting of contents from the PDF which is opened.

I tried using AVDocOpenFromPDDocWithParams and specified a permReqProc, using this I was able to restrict most of the tools from copying or extracting contents. i.e., Edit PDF, organize Pages, Prepare form etc.

However, the following tools seems to be not honoring the permReqProc and still content is being extracted from the already opened PDF Document.

  6. When using images as part of the "Appearance" of a Digital Signature, the image is scaled and centered which results in odd placement of the signature.

When there is only an image in the signature it is scaled to fit within the forms signature field/user defined rectangle and then it is centered.
It should be left justified (Or right depending on the region settings).

When there is an image with text, the signature is scaled to fit within half of the signature field/user defined rectangle and then it is centered on the left half. The image should take up only…

  7. When using the Digitally Sign tool the first step is to blindly draw a rectangle to indicate where to place the signature. Unfortunately the user is not given an indication of what the signature will look like until after the document is signed. Signatures solely composed of "Text" will have the text fit into whatever rectangular shape that was drawn (which is usually ok); however, signatures composed of "Images" will shrink the image to maintain it's aspect ratio and then center the image in the rectangle, this results in smaller signatures offset to the right from the insertion point. This…

  8. Our procurement office requires receipts. Your customer service rep states that Adobe does not have have payment receipts, invoice serves as a confirmation of payment; Invoices are added to account only when it's paid. Our procurement office says that this is not acceptable and we need a confirmation that states that the invoice is in fact paid.

  9. When using the Microsoft Word AddIn to send mailings as PDFs to email addresses, Acrobat offers to enter a mail subject and body.
In the German version of Acrobat the suggested text even contains a German umlaut (like ä,ö,ü). This umlaut get's replaced by a ? at the recipients end. E-Mail was sent from one Office 365 account to another Office 365 account, both using current Outlook version.

  10. I'm using LaTeX (Beamer) to create my files and Drawboard PDF to draw on them. When I open the files with Acrobat, the slides with annotations with them result in Acrobat saying "There was a problem reading this document (18)". I can't even edit and try to save the document:

Other PDF applications and even Chrome work just fine:

    1. Steps to reproduce the issue
Open the file and scroll to a slide with annotations.

    2. Environment
Acrobat DC 2015, Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20042, Windows 10

    3. Expected Result
Acrobat opens the file without issues.

    4. Observed result
      Acrobat throws an error…

  12. After I open a pdf, A pop-up appears to "advertise' some particular feature such as 'fill & sign' for example. This is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. Also highly UNPROFESSIONAL as occurs during a potential client presentation.
Please DISABLE THIS IMMEDIATELY. We pay for the product - NOT for ADOBE advertise itself during my time.

  13. Keyboard shortcuts for many AC-DC editing features already exist in IN, AI and PS, (like send forward or backward), and would be super helpful timesavers.

Also all of the votes for improved keyboard shortcuts are related, and point to an OVERWHELMING case for better keyboard shortcut functionality. Compare to the keyboard shortcut requests for other Adobe products.

  14. Since I did a one month trial of your e-sign function, Adobe Acrobat Reader has been stealing all my PDFs from Apple cloud and Pages. It won't return them, and I cannot delete them. I cannot access them to attach to an email. It's causing me a lot of trouble. I cannot uninstall the application either (from my MacBook Pro). And I supposed I'd lose the files if I did uninstall. HELP! I've been on hold for 20 minutes.

  15. Since people often work on multiple documents and perform many operations on them, it would be nice to have one command that allows you to save all of them at once.

In any case, when you get the warning that you are about to close Acrobat and there are many files with unsaved changes, instead of having a prompt for each and every one, you should be able to click on a checkmark that says "apply to all documents," like you have in Word.

    Thanks!

  16. Adobe DC 20.9.20067 crashes when zooming, using CTRL+Click wheel (on mouse).
    Windows 10 Enterprise machine 10.0.18362 Build 18362

    We have:
    - Verified there are no updates (Adobe)
    - Reinstalled the program
    - Ran all existing Manufacturer updates (Lenovo)
    - Ran all available Windows updates
    - Altered NVIDIA (Quadro K4200) settings per article: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/scrolling-problem-acrobat-pro-dc/td-p/7700173/page/2?page=1

Nothing has stopped this from happening. Please advise what can be done to correct this issue.

*This is an intermittent issue that cannot be easily reproduced. Sometimes Adobe is the only program opened when a crash occurs

  18. The blue prompt box that says "Your last session ended abruptly. Click here to reopen the PDFs from the last session." comes up whenever I have closed a PDF and reopen another, regardless of how long it was open, how much of it I scrolled through, etc. It is driving me bonkers. Please add an option to turn the prompt off. If I had closed it by accident I would just reopen the file directly, I don't need to be prompted by the viewing program.

  19. I cancelled my monthly Acrobat DC subsription (too expensive and I didn't need many of the cloud features), and down graded to a yearly subscription of adobe PDF pack. Now, whenever I try to open previously created pdf documents I get hijacked with a popup to renew the DC subscription. For awhile I was able to close that and open a previously saved adobe doc by clicking on the adobe DC icon and choosing "default", which I am assuming allowed the pdf pack programs to open. Now I am not even getting that choice. The DC opens to a blank…
