  2. When I create a .pdf from Illustrator, a dialog box opens saying the file cannot be found. It used to auto open the .pdf after creating it. It does create the file (.pdf) but does not auto open it.

  3. Just got upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro Dc and now whenever I 'save as' a document, the default location to save it is to a temporary folder. Before the upgrade, i can choose the folder to save the documents and that folder will be the default location for future documents. Tried to find the solution to fix this by reading bunch of discussion forum and so far have no luck finding anything. Not sure if you change something but please have that 'last folder as default location' back. If there's a way to fix it, appreciate if you could let…

  4. All latest Adobe Acrobat versions (DC, Pro, Reader) for Mac OS X crash when running the attached file. The crash occurs either when switching between the pages or after video restart. However, Reader XI still works. Some older versions may work as well. Please fix.

  7. Cannot find how to set a default so that one can view PDF's with multiple pages in a certain setting. Right now the default is 174% and that doesn't work for what I need. I need to see more of the document at a glance, so I have to manually change it to 75% or 100% every time after I extract a page. Please make it easier to set a default

  8. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC constantly freezes for 5 to 10 seconds, then works for a few seconds, then repeats the cycle. It did this for a couple weeks, then seemed better for a day or two, and is now seems worse. I am using Windows 10. It is to the point that it is almost unusable and tremendously frustrating. The header at the top will say Not Responding frequently.

  9. When I try to "save as" a Solidworks drawing and select PDF file type, glass in the drawings is very faint. I noticed it only does on Acrobat Pro DC not a standard Acrobart Reader.

  10. This is a DC Pro subscription running on Win 7 Home Prem SP1 64-bit. Acrobat loses my login info about 75% of the time when I close the program and reopen, with or without restarting or logging out of my pc, annoying but workable. Sometimes the save icon on the toolbar is invisible. I wasn't able to get a screenshot, but the button is clickable and works despite not displaying, also annoying but workable. Then, mid-session, as seen in the attachment, all Adobe icons converted to placeholders. First, I attempted a repair, then an uninstall. Both attempts yield the same…

  13. Periodically Acrobat pumps a message stating "Data area passed to a system call is too small." I'm running Acrobat DC, Windows 10, Dell Precision 7520, 16B RAM, 1TBSSD, 256GBSSD, Nvidia GPU, two (2) external monitors. I'm a Senior Interaction Designer at Stryker in Redmond, WA. Not sure what this error means or how to resolve.

  15. Your SAAS model is a crock, but your persistent tracking is worse. It is absolutely offensive that you will charge me again and again while simultaneously disabling the program because I don't want to sign in again and again. I've started looking for your replacement.

  16. Recently we had a user report that when he tried to open excel file by double clicking, excel 2013 came up blank. After doing some troubleshooting, we found the adobe acrobat 2017 is causing the issue. It may have caused by Adobe PDFMaker com-addin in acrobat 2017. Once adobe acrobat 2017 is uninstalled, the issue went away. I am suspecting the recently windows update on the Microsoft office may have contributed. I have the older version Adobe acrobat DC 2015 did not have this issue. Can someone please look into this issue and release new fix/update to fix this problem?

  17. The attached Output.pdf renders the image differently in AcrobatPro to non-Adobe PDF readers (eg, Safari). There is a faint light grey line, about 13 pixels wide, down the right edge. If you "Browse Internal PDF Structure" you can see the grey pixels as fe rather than ff in the JPEG stream, so it seems as though the PDF JPEG decoder has an off-by-one error.

I've also attached Original.jpg which shows what the image should look like. It doesn't have the grey line, as you can see by loading it into, eg, Photoshop. If you convert it to a PDF using…

  19. Develop a method to announce new updates without first crashing Acrobat. Many other companies have this feature.

  20. Currently the Adobe Acrobat add-on for Microsoft Outlook leverages the "received date" to timestamp the messages. It would be nice to have the option to use the "sent date" of the message instead for the timestamp. There are instances during email migrations where the top level received date header gets updated to the new mail system it got migrated to. When that happens, the received date changes on the message in Outlook. When organizations are providing PDFs for public records requests or legal requests, the queries in the ediscovery tools search by the "Sent" date of the message. Generally with…
