My measuring tool no longer shows feet and inches, just inches. I looked at Preferences and didn't see a place to change it. This started happening a couple of weeks ago.

error message for non administrative users (msiexec.exe)
When you start Adobe Acrobat Pro without local adminstrative rights a error message appears.(see attachment)
We identified the corresponding command line with procmon: "C:\Windows\System32\msiexec.exe" /i {AC76BA86-1033-FFFF-7760-0C0F074E4100} REINSTALLMODE=omus DISABLEFIUCHECK=1 IGNOREAAM=1 REPAIRFROMAPP=1 INSTALLUWPAPP=1 /qn"We deployed the "Creative Cloud Client" as a "Self-Serivce-Packages", so licensed Users can install and use adobe products without local administrative rights.
Could you please check why msiexec.exe is called with every program start? We get a lot of tickets from users complaining about this error message and your support wasnt a help at all.

Infopanel or Window in Acrobat
I´m getting a lot of PDFs and often i have to figure out the how big the pictures or forms are in these PDFs. And no - they dont have any Metadata in.
So my simple wish is to have a info window just like in Photoshop or InDesign where you can simply see the dimensions of picture or a frame.1 vote -
Advanced search window - Checkbox to remember options
Mainly I need the same advanced search options each time, so it would be nice to have them saved for the next time:
- Search from
- More options
- Results sort by (also date created option needed)

use compare report and send it for shared review with old and new file side-by-side view
I have 2 pdfs, version 1 and version 2. Using compare pdf, I can able to view the changes made and save the compare report and see side-by-side.
But, when I send the compare report for shared review, but the reviewers can see only the new file with comments and can not see side-by-side on browser.
Enable side-by-side view for shared review through browser. So the reviewers can easily identify the changes from version 1 to version 2 and it is easy for them to review.

Stop adding extra steps to simply processes
Stop adding extra steps that add nothing and frequently crash the whole program.
Save As -> Folder dialogue box. That's worked for years, why add "Recent Folders" to this process, when the "recent folders" just open the same folder dialogue box that's always been used! It's useless, and it crashes ALL THE TIME which means I can't change the name of my file.
"Fill & Sign" -> Filling and signing. Why do we need "Who needs to sign first?" What does it matter! Useless.
Maybe if you take out these useless steps the program won't be a massive memory hog…

Search is grouping results so that "next" button does not work as expected.
This does not happen on all documents, but it does on many. I can email a document to you privately if needed.
When using search, the results are grouped so that when clicking the "next" button to move to the next result, it instead moves to the next group of results. This also happens in the full advanced search (see screen shot). Match counts are incorrect and it's easy to miss matches when using the simple search to move through matches. We need the "next" button to take us to the next instance of the search term and not the…

acrodist.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The error suddenly appears in my Windows PC. My Adobe Acrobat DC is working well. But, i think Adobe Acrobat Distiller DC made the error.
It say : " The procedure entry point _DistBeginFileJob@20 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\acrodist.exe "
Every i click the OK button, it appears soon. How to fix this?

Change the design to follow industry standard, to be more intuitive
the Design is very poor, why don't you change the menus, and submenus per Industry standard, to make it more intuitive.

Lost time
After working on one document for about 3 hours, Adobe decided to crash. When I reopened Adobe, it prompted me to recover the file, great, except the file it recovered was blank... This has happened several times. Is it too much to ask for an auto save feature, or some kind of crash protection? I have literally just wasted 3 hours of my time.

Window to close automatically after clicking the 'Attach to Email' button
Basically, as the title explains, I would like the window in Acrobat to close after clicking 'Attach to Email'.
Reason: E.g. After exporting a document in Indesign, which then opens in Acrobat, I click 'Attach to Email' email window opens with your attachment, I send proof and go back to Indesign to start the next job if I do the same process and forget to close the 'How do you share file' window it errors which is really annoying! Please fix I'm sure it never used to do that.
Thanks
