  1. Does acrobat have access to my computer?

    Whenever I use acrobat, my mouse seems driven by commads - not mine - to do things in acraobat. Things like scrolling, moving mouse, opening other windows in acrobat. Is it a ghost or is it Adobe?

    I am afraid, Acrobat can not be responsible for this abrupt behavior. Please
    do a virus scan on your machine. Let us know if that helps.

  3. A document where images cannot be screenshot to be searched for on google images or way to alter our images so same images don't come up

    I need to be able to create a document where the images we include can not be screenshot and the searched for in google image search (thus enabling the person I am sending the PDF to to go to competitor websites who have the same images as us). So either no screenshot allowed or the ability to change the images we have sufficiently that google image will not find it.

  4. redaction

    When saving a redacted file, the option to for "redacted" to NOT be added to the end of the file name.

  5. Bug on Redacted Information

    I have received a redacted contract on Adobe Acrobat Standard DC that I use on Windows 7. When I hold down ctrl and scroll in (to zoom) the redacted information flashes and I can see what information is blacked out. I think the information should be securely blacked out so there is no possibility of obtaining that information.

  7. I can't open the PDF attachment from email

    I received this file thorough email and I can't open it in my MacBook, but it opens in other computers.
    This happens daily with many other PDF's I receive.

  9. Saving Pixel perfect AI file as pdf which don't keep pixel perfect previewing in Acrobat.

    Saving a pixel perfect Adobe Illustrator as a pdf doesn't keep the pixel perfect content when previewing in Acrobat. It distorts one line pixels to two pixels in random area. Icon are distorted as well.

  11. Batch processing to Actions in Acrobat DC HOW?!?!?

    Can you provide a "plain English" description on how to create a "batch processing" type Action that can be use on multiple files at once? I have hundreds of files that I need to set open options on and add specific bookmarks to. Trying to do this one at a time is NOT happening. Urgent please!

  12. Bug: Converting spot colour to cymk PFF corrupts .tiff image

    Bug.
    Customer supplied files from InDesign cs6 with .tiff picture over a solid spot colour.
    When converting the file to CYMK via acrobat pro, the tiff picture corrupts leaving a white space instead of the correct image.
    PDF fix up fail to spot or fix issue. Could only be solved by editing original InDesign files, changing spot to CYMK and informing customer.

  14. Can't select all instances of an Advanced Search (ctrl+shift+F).

    When doing an advanced search (ctrl+shift+F), you used to be able to search for a string (which it still does) and select all of those instances in the PDF (no longer highlights every instance; need to do one-by-one). This was a quick & useful feature for highlighting all instances of a certain text string in a PDF drawing.

  15. Preference option to minimize RH Tools pane on file open in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

    In a preferences option such that the Tools pane (on right hand sight of document window) will or will not display on PDF file open.

    his will save time for what I anticipate is a large percentage of users that open PDF documents to read / comment without necessarily using the tools pane on RH side of the window.

  16. Clearer communication

    Adobe newsletter touting availability of Compare feature doesn't mention this is a Pro-only feature. The link from the article lists step-by-step instructions for using this cool feature never once mentioning that it's only available for Pro version. The screencap shows Pro but it is tiny font and very easy to miss.

    This required an investment by me and your customer support to resolve this. Better communication on your end about who has access to your features is a good thing.

  20. Ability to rotate image on screed

    In earlier versions, you could rotate the image of the page Clockwise or Counterwise.
