  1. app freeze when opening document

    When ever opening a PDF document the program freezes for multiple seconds which gets frustrating when face pace action is needed

  3. Preview handler in Windows 10 locks PDF files if active on windows preview pane.

    For some reason, we cannot delete PDF files store on a network because the preview handler locks the file. We have to hit the delete key which opens a windows prompt that the file is in use, then unselect the PDF file, and then click in the windows dialog to try again.

  4. Adobe is freezing and won't open PDF

    Please fix the freezing and the file not opening happening since Adobe was updated. The system is much slower!!

  6. Acrobat DC process hangs

    Acrobat processes hang in task manager. Clicking on a PDF file or the application shortcut will not launch the program but task manager shows Acrobat running. Killing the process and trying again still does not work. Users have to sign out or reboot several times a day to get Acrobat to launch.

    1. Highlight/Select a word or phrase.
    2. Right-Click
    3. Add option to right click menu to search in {SEARCH ENGINE OF CHOICE}

    Thanks for reprting the issue. Can you please provide your machine detalis with the Acrobat version you are using.

  9. Adobe Send & Track Add-in for Outlook stops email signature coming through when sending PDFs

    Installation of Adobe Add-in for Send & Track should not be automatic. It blocks the email signature of the user in Outlook 2013 from appearing when he/she wants to send a PDF by email directly from Adobe or other program which uses the Outlook API

  10. Nothing to do with your product. This is a complaint about your website.

    None of your business what my date of birth is. No need to ask it. Then you point a page that apparently explains and it doesn't explain.

    Also website is annoying and circular. Makes it difficult to find the right place to contact.

    Asking for DOB is a legal requirement for us. Also can you please elaborate on the issues you are facing with the website in particular.

  11. 3d connexion 3d mouse useability of zoom feature

    In previous versions of Adobe Acrobat / reader you could use a 3d mouse (3dconnexion) to zoom and navigate a document. This is very helpful on larger drawing type documents where you want to move around and zoom in. I noticed that the 3d mouse does work to scroll up and down a text type document. Are there any plans to integrate zoom and pan features?

    Choose View > Zoom > Pan & Zoom, or click the Pan & Zoom tool in the Select and Zoom toolbar.

    Do any of the following:
    1.Drag the handles of the box in the Pan & Zoom window to change the document magnification.

    2.Drag the center of the box to pan across the area you want to see.

    3.Click the navigation buttons to move to a different page.

    4.Enter a value in the zoom text box, or click the plus or minus buttons to increase or decrease the magnification by preset levels.

  12. DC PRO constantly crashes

    DC Pro is totally unreliable, whether creating a pdf, trying to access a pdf or saving the program displays "DC Pro not responding. Happens very frequently making the program useless. Have worked with support 3 times no resolve. Occurs on both my WIN10 and WIN7 computers, never had a problem with ver 7 through 10. Pay lots for DC team but will have to look for another vendor.

  14. Issue with copy-paste option in multiple languages

    With the new version of Acrobat, the copy-paste process between a PDF document and other text field, doesn't work properly. The special characters (i.e. French accents like é è à) don't show up anymore when we copy-paste without formatting. I spent three hours with the technical support and they finally said: "this is normal with the new version". The copy-paste process works like this now"...

  15. Video not working on Acrobat DC

    Tools for Rich Media work fine for development when we add a video. It fails when we try to view the video added on Acrobat DC for Windows.

    Acrobat Reader can play the video fine on both the PC and Mac

    Acrobat DC Pro on the Mac version # 2021.005.20048 can create and play the video correctly.

    Acrobat DC Pro on Windows can create the PDF with Rich Media tools but it can not play the video. It may crash or it may do nothing. No video can be seen. I tried it both playing in the document or in…

  16. Make Acrobat Pro support ARM64 processor, for example Surface Pro X. (aka AArch64, Qualcomm S1, Qualcomm S2)

    Acrobat Pro Desktop works on Windows with Intel and AMD processors, but not with ARM64 processors, so I can't use it on my Microsoft Surface Pro X. The Surface Pro X uses the Qualcomm S1 or S2 ARM64 processors which manage power better, extending battery life and keeping the device cool. Please get a team to work on ARM64 compatibility so customers with such devices can use Acrobat Pro as we did on our older devices with Intel or AMD processors.

  17. Emailed Receipts

    Automatically email receipts each time the payment processes for the account. It's an inconvenience to have to log in each month to manually download the receipt or manually click "email receipt" to myself.

  19. error message for non administrative users (msiexec.exe)

    When you start Adobe Acrobat Pro without local adminstrative rights a error message appears.(see attachment)
    We identified the corresponding command line with procmon: "C:\Windows\System32\msiexec.exe" /i {AC76BA86-1033-FFFF-7760-0C0F074E4100} REINSTALLMODE=omus DISABLEFIUCHECK=1 IGNOREAAM=1 REPAIRFROMAPP=1 INSTALLUWPAPP=1 /qn"

    We deployed the "Creative Cloud Client" as a "Self-Serivce-Packages", so licensed Users can install and use adobe products without local administrative rights.

    Could you please check why msiexec.exe is called with every program start? We get a lot of tickets from users complaining about this error message and your support wasnt a help at all.
