  1. In previous versions of Adobe Acrobat / reader you could use a 3d mouse (3dconnexion) to zoom and navigate a document. This is very helpful on larger drawing type documents where you want to move around and zoom in. I noticed that the 3d mouse does work to scroll up and down a text type document. Are there any plans to integrate zoom and pan features?

Choose View > Zoom > Pan & Zoom, or click the Pan & Zoom tool in the Select and Zoom toolbar.

    Do any of the following:
1.Drag the handles of the box in the Pan & Zoom window to change the document magnification.

2.Drag the center of the box to pan across the area you want to see.

3.Click the navigation buttons to move to a different page.

4.Enter a value in the zoom text box, or click the plus or minus buttons to increase or decrease the magnification by preset levels.

  2. Problem: When doing an Advanced Search, in order to find out the page number of any given search result, you must hover the pointer over each individual search hit and wait for a popup of its page number to appear.

Feature request: Show the page numbers on which those hits occur, and preferably in a column to the left of each search hit.

Reason it's needed: This would save a tremendous amount of time for certain labor intensive tasks, for instance, manually indexing a book. To elaborate a bit: When manually indexing a large book (say, 500 pages), you regularly…

    Hi Tim

We have shared your concern with the team and we will look into this.
    Sorry for the inconvenience!

    Regards
    Vivek

  3. Compare Documents - Please add an option or setting to the compare document feature of Acrobat DC so that page shifts in paragraphs of unchanged text are not marked as changes.

Currently it shows as a text delete and then a text insert on the following page.

  5. With the new version of Acrobat, the copy-paste process between a PDF document and other text field, doesn't work properly. The special characters (i.e. French accents like é è à) don't show up anymore when we copy-paste without formatting. I spent three hours with the technical support and they finally said: "this is normal with the new version". The copy-paste process works like this now"...

  6. Copy/Paste does not work with special characters (used in Spanish, French, German, Danish etc.) anymore. Instead of letters it just leaves blank spaces in the document. Here is an example:

    Copy in Acrobat Pro DC:

"Nous vérifions volontiers la possibilité d'une telle
production spéciale pour le cas individuel."

    Paste in any other program:

"Nous v rifions volontiers la possibilit  d'une telle
production sp ciale pour le cas individuel."

I have tested this on various different computers running macOS Monterey 12.1 and Acrobat Pro DC 2021.011.20039.

The same problem existed before and was addressed in this bug report in June 2021:
    https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/43675632-june-2021-acrobat-update-won-t-copy-paste-special

  7. Acrobat Pro Desktop works on Windows with Intel and AMD processors, but not with ARM64 processors, so I can't use it on my Microsoft Surface Pro X. The Surface Pro X uses the Qualcomm S1 or S2 ARM64 processors which manage power better, extending battery life and keeping the device cool. Please get a team to work on ARM64 compatibility so customers with such devices can use Acrobat Pro as we did on our older devices with Intel or AMD processors.

  8. Adobe DC 20.9.20067 crashes when zooming, using CTRL+Click wheel (on mouse).
    Windows 10 Enterprise machine 10.0.18362 Build 18362

    We have:
    - Verified there are no updates (Adobe)
    - Reinstalled the program
    - Ran all existing Manufacturer updates (Lenovo)
    - Ran all available Windows updates
    - Altered NVIDIA (Quadro K4200) settings per article: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/scrolling-problem-acrobat-pro-dc/td-p/7700173/page/2?page=1

Nothing has stopped this from happening. Please advise what can be done to correct this issue.

*This is an intermittent issue that cannot be easily reproduced. Sometimes Adobe is the only program opened when a crash occurs

    • Open the file minimal.pdf in Acrobat DC. Look at the number '11' on page 3 and '12' on page 4.
    • Save As... the document
    • close and reopen the saved document
    • The numbers '11' and '12' are now rendered wrong (glyphs on top of eachother)

=> Acrobat DC changed the font so CID 18 now has a width of 0...

  9. I want to upvote "Reopen PDFs Launched in previous sessions on Opening Acrobat/Reader".
Although you implemented reopen pdfs from last session, it would be INCREDIBLY useful to be able to save sessions. e.g. 5 specific pdfs regarding research on wastewater management could be saved as a session and 10 different pdfs (or some of the previous 5) as a session regarding Mn removal from water with an option to recall whichever I need when opening Acrobat. That would speed up a lot of people's workflow, especially those who have to jump through multiple topics with various materials.

  10. After the October 2018 release update, if the PDF is opened with the output preview displayed, the display is frequently lost. This has not yet been resolved in update 2019.021.20056. Therefore, PDF checking in prepress is the reason why you should use 2017 instead of DC. I think that it was a problem that can be corrected because it was displayed normally before.

Thanks for reprting the issue. Can you please provide your machine detalis with the Acrobat version you are using.

  17. Installation of Adobe Add-in for Send & Track should not be automatic. It blocks the email signature of the user in Outlook 2013 from appearing when he/she wants to send a PDF by email directly from Adobe or other program which uses the Outlook API

  18. None of your business what my date of birth is. No need to ask it. Then you point a page that apparently explains and it doesn't explain.

Also website is annoying and circular. Makes it difficult to find the right place to contact.
