  3. Please add the split option to the "tools to add" when creating a new Action Wizard action.

This would allow for automated actions to be created where split top level bookmarks using bookmark names for file names utilized as part of a action, so it wouldn't be necessary to physically go through the setup process of: Organize Pages/Split/Split by: Top level bookmarks/Output Options/Use bookmark names for file names.

  4. In previous versions of Adobe Acrobat / reader you could use a 3d mouse (3dconnexion) to zoom and navigate a document. This is very helpful on larger drawing type documents where you want to move around and zoom in. I noticed that the 3d mouse does work to scroll up and down a text type document. Are there any plans to integrate zoom and pan features?

Choose View > Zoom > Pan & Zoom, or click the Pan & Zoom tool in the Select and Zoom toolbar.

    Do any of the following:
1.Drag the handles of the box in the Pan & Zoom window to change the document magnification.

2.Drag the center of the box to pan across the area you want to see.

3.Click the navigation buttons to move to a different page.

4.Enter a value in the zoom text box, or click the plus or minus buttons to increase or decrease the magnification by preset levels.

  5. Problem: When doing an Advanced Search, in order to find out the page number of any given search result, you must hover the pointer over each individual search hit and wait for a popup of its page number to appear.

Feature request: Show the page numbers on which those hits occur, and preferably in a column to the left of each search hit.

Reason it's needed: This would save a tremendous amount of time for certain labor intensive tasks, for instance, manually indexing a book. To elaborate a bit: When manually indexing a large book (say, 500 pages), you regularly…

    Hi Cozie,

Is your query resolved? Are you able to see number of files after adding “Order” coloumn?

    Thanks,
    Mridula

  8. The changes in the latest version of Acrobat DC are slowing me down immensely. Can you change the structure back to the previous format? I don't know what all of the icons are, i cant seem to find how to put simple instructions (like Marquee Zoom) onto a toolbar etc, etc.

The current structure of the software is not good!

  9. Everything about the new update is worse than the previous version. I get terrible slowdown and "not responding" messages literally every time I use it, and the FIND function in particular has been ruined. It barely works, and constantly shifts itself out of the search bar. PLEASE REVERT THIS FUTURE TO THE WAY IT USED TO BE. Otherwise the software is almost unusuable.

  10. After the latest update, Acrobat freezes for about 30 seconds to one minute after opening. If I try to click on a recent file, I get a "not responding" message.

  12. With the new version of Acrobat, the copy-paste process between a PDF document and other text field, doesn't work properly. The special characters (i.e. French accents like é è à) don't show up anymore when we copy-paste without formatting. I spent three hours with the technical support and they finally said: "this is normal with the new version". The copy-paste process works like this now"...

  13. Tools for Rich Media work fine for development when we add a video. It fails when we try to view the video added on Acrobat DC for Windows.

Acrobat Reader can play the video fine on both the PC and Mac

Acrobat DC Pro on the Mac version # 2021.005.20048 can create and play the video correctly.

Acrobat DC Pro on Windows can create the PDF with Rich Media tools but it can not play the video. It may crash or it may do nothing. No video can be seen. I tried it both playing in the document or in…

  15. The new updates have been doing only harm to the software. It has become painstakingly slow. I normally have 5-6 (min) PDFs open at all times and search through them for keywords. After the recent update, it has been very slow, sometimes showing results on blank pages, even though there is actual content.

  16. Adobe DC 20.9.20067 crashes when zooming, using CTRL+Click wheel (on mouse).
    Windows 10 Enterprise machine 10.0.18362 Build 18362

    We have:
    - Verified there are no updates (Adobe)
    - Reinstalled the program
    - Ran all existing Manufacturer updates (Lenovo)
    - Ran all available Windows updates
    - Altered NVIDIA (Quadro K4200) settings per article: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/scrolling-problem-acrobat-pro-dc/td-p/7700173/page/2?page=1

Nothing has stopped this from happening. Please advise what can be done to correct this issue.

*This is an intermittent issue that cannot be easily reproduced. Sometimes Adobe is the only program opened when a crash occurs

  17. Remove the 'Home', 'Tools', 'Document' buttons.
Again, these buttons seem to me that they belong on the main tool bar, instead of wasting tons of space on the 'customizable' quick access tool bar. Why are they there? i don't know.
It seems to me, that adobe has a lot of programmers with ideas, but no adobe test users, to let them know, whether the idea is good or bad.

Adobe: please don't rely on us, the general user, to give you feedback to do that job for you. We all have work to do, and want to get it done…

  18. Currently, embedded links which use the Data URL schema are blocked by Adobe Acrobat even when adjusting security settings. Adobe Acrobat doesn't need to support reading these links as they're simply opened in a browser, but we need Acrobat to stop blocking these links. I've attached an example PDF with an embedded data url.

  19. I want to upvote "Reopen PDFs Launched in previous sessions on Opening Acrobat/Reader".
Although you implemented reopen pdfs from last session, it would be INCREDIBLY useful to be able to save sessions. e.g. 5 specific pdfs regarding research on wastewater management could be saved as a session and 10 different pdfs (or some of the previous 5) as a session regarding Mn removal from water with an option to recall whichever I need when opening Acrobat. That would speed up a lot of people's workflow, especially those who have to jump through multiple topics with various materials.

  20. I have two things to say:

    1) "Reopen PDFs from last session" doesn't work for me. The setting is ticked in the relevant menu but on launching the Acrobat, it is greyed out.

    2) Inb the "Recent" panel there are checkboxes for recently opened PDFs. I think there should be an option there to select using the checkboxes the PDFs the user wishes to open and opening them.
