1. Requesting 'Marathi' language to be added to Acrobat Pro DC under 'Set Reading Language'

   Although the popular screen readers do support Marathi language and voice, Adobe PDF Reader does not support Marathi to be set as a ‘Reading language’ yet so although the document is read in Marathi, it’s not being read in clear n correct phonetics/ accent.

   I hope, Adobe will be able to add Marathi font soon during the next update or so.

   We certainly do look forward to it. Thank you!

2. read aloud rewind

   Read Aloud: My favorite would be that READ ALOUD CONTROLS for PLAY/PREVIOUS/NEXT/PAUSE/SPEED present in a bar to limit having to go through the menus, annoying. Menu options, there is no previous or forward options, so only restarting the reader? So, now I am looking on google for control functions basically for rewind/fast-forward/pause. limited menu functionality on rewind/fast-forward but not finding control function keys to get around that yet, also annoying. place audio/speed keys in an easily accessible bar on the screen of the document, not embedded in menus only, and not only via control keys, please. Also would be nice if SPEED could be on a BETTER ACCESSIBLE AUDIO CONTROL BAR too instead of having to go through preferences to do so. Most other audio apps have these functionalities already, why not adobe reader? It would be more than a nice-to-have functionality for some.

3. Artifacting Error -- Still

   Reopening the bug notice from 2019.
   The artifacting error is not fully functioning within Acrobat's tools as of July 2022 with the current beta version.

   @Rachit/Adobe, please reopen this case.

   SUMMARY (July 2022):

   -- Incomplete action from the CONTENT panel. Leaves an empty <Figure> tag that must be manually deleted.

   -- Incomplete action from the TAG panel. Leaves an empty <Figure> tag that must be manually deleted.

   -- Partially complete action from the ORDER panel. It artifacts the content and removes the <Figure> tag ONLY for images. Path/Vectors are incomplete and their empty <Figure> tags must be removed manually. <Figure> tags are left in both the Tag and Order panels.

   -- Completes the action using the ORDER TOOLS panel (TURO). It artifacts the content and removes their <Figure> tags for both images and path/vectors in both the Tag and Order panels.

   Yey!

   Details:

   From the Content panel:
   1. Right-click, select Change Tag to Artifact.
   2. It does tag the content as artifact, but leaves an empty <P> or <Figure> tag in the tree.

   From the Tags panel:
   1. Expand the tag to show its yellow content container box.
   2. Right-click on the content container, select Change Tag to Artifact.
   3. It does tag the content as artifact, but leaves an empty <P> or <Figure> tag in the tree.

   Note: Can't select the tag itself <P> or <Figure> and artifact both the tag and its content at the same time.

   From the Order TREE:
   1. From the tree, select the element, Right-click, select Tag as Background/Artifact.
   2. It works for IMAGES, but not for PATH/vectors.
   (See screen capture 4)
   Path/Vector elements are STILL in the Order tree, and an empty <Figure> tag is left in the TAG tree, too.

   From the Order Reading Order Panel (TURO tool panel):
   1. From the page, select the element, and select Background/Artifact from the tools panel.
   2. It works correctly for both Path/vector and image <Figure>s.
   3. Tag tree is correct, too.

4. Allow Acrobat on a different PC to any running CC for photography

   I have 2 personal MacBooks, one main and one for photography, and a Windows work PC. I have the full Adobe subscription and want to use all applications on the main MacBook, photography applications on the other MacBook and only Acrobat on the work Windows machine but the licencing does not let me. I think the licencing should be changed to an application base, i.e. Acrobat only on 2 PCs, Photography apps only on 2 PCs, rather than an overall licence only on 2 PCs

6. Restore Windows Shortcut - Close all open documents

   Currently the ctrl+shift+w shortcut which should close all open windows/tabs says its "not available" but if you press them all your open documents get uploaded to adobe cloud.

   Since i work with confidential documents most of the time this is not the intended action.

   Please restore this windows shortcut to behave like every other application that uses it.

   Even the mac version uses it why is it overridden in windows?

   Request to restore ctrl+shift+w shortcut to behave normally.

   And add an option to completely disable cloud upload integration for confidential/all documents as a user preference so something undocumented like this doesnt happen again. syncing my login credentials is fine, unintentionally uploading files to adobe cloud is not.

7. Links don't activate using JAWS or NVDA

   The internal and external links in all of my documents will not activate when I press enter using a screen reader. I have tested this in JAWS and NVDA. The links are tagged correctly and work as expected using a mouse. They also work as expected when navigating via keyboard, as long as the screen reader is not on. Please review, thanks!

8. BUG: Acrobat DC randomly making text or images disappear when changing reading order

   When reordering the reading order of items on the pages of an audit report, Acrobat randomly removed text on pages that I wasn't even looking at. I tested it out on another file and discovered the text disappears when you hit save. Up until then everything appears fine.

   Acrobat was also making random layers of embedded pdf maps disappear when when trying to add alternative text, and there is no option to simply edit the SLUG text instead.

9. Add support for nested alternate text in lists

   When tagging lists, I frequently encounter symbols or acronyms that need actual text. Removing them from the list would actually make the pdf less accessible. Why isn't this a feature?

11. Online Sucks

    I hate the online pay monthly model, but to require online ability to use Acrobat is inane. I live in a rural area and travel ofter to areas with no connectivity. I have paid for this ***** program and to be denied access because I can not sign in is so infuriating that I can barely write this. I pay, and in advance. Why do you jerks do this??? 14. Highlight area of text when using High-Contrast colors or Custom colors

    The idea is to change or allow highlighting area around a piece of text instead of the text itself. So I recently started using Adobe with High-Contrast colors and I prefer to see yellow text on black. But when highlighting in this mode, I barely see a difference in not highlighted text and highlighted text. This can be seen in the pictures attached. You can see that I have highlighted a piece of text but it's hard to tell unless you can notice the color difference (shades of yellow). However in the second picture it's standing out and can be differentiated easily. I would love to see this implemented.

15. Control Speed of Automatic Scrolling

    I am a slow reader. The speed of automatic scrolling is too fast for me.
    I want to be able to slow the speed down so that I can read to my audience in a video conference. This will allow me to use automatic scrolling like a teleprompter.

16. PDF 3D bug on 64 bit version - bad illumination, no script execution

    PDF with 3D model:
    Issue on illumination and script execution on 64 bit version of READER.
    If I open the file with 32 bit version, no problem.

17. Email Invoices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The fact that my invoice isn't emailed to me each month and I am having to post that as a feature request is beyond ridiculous.

    It's obvious that you aren't doing it already so people just continue to pay each month without a visual reminder that they have a subscription however it is extremely frustrating.

    Text to speech for many people is a useful tool that helps with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia. The text to speech tool in acrobat could be improved by allowing playing and pausing, reading selected text and easily switching between languages (or a detect language option).
