  1. Bring back: File, Send.

    The new Share File, then you have to select the 'Send at Attachment' and wait for ages for an Outlook Mail box to open is ridiculous and time consuming.

    Also, if you make any changes to the PDF, ie 'highlight' a word, then you MUST save the file BEFORE you send it. Again, ridiculous. We DON'T always want to save the change.

  2. This was closed, but not actually resolved. Nice Try Adobe! I would like to send a PDF without tracking, received via cloud, etc. Either it can be fixed or not. Putting Resolved on it without the features and benefits of the past is not a fix.

  3. When I select "File" & "Attach to email". I get an error message "Server Connection Error. Please verify that port 143 is available for connection on your machine or contact your administrator. Please advise how I can fix this?

  4. When making a document ready for review in the new Acrobat DC 19.8, if I want to add people from my contact book, the program crashes immediately when pressing the button.

    Every time, even when just booted up.

  5. Go back to 1-click email attt send; after recent update, we now need to click on share, then click on share as attt, then click on continue.... so many clicks for a simple task

  7. We use to be able to extract a page from a large document and send it to an email as an attachment with just a click or two. Now it is mandatory that the extracted pages be saved first and then attached to an email. This idea seems to be going in a backwards direction. Not only does it take more time to complete, it is taking more disk space to re-save the pages that are already saved in the original document. Please put this feature back the way it was.

Since the update this past week (October 2018), Adobe has made it harder to find things that used to be easy to find, and now it takes forever or completely lags when I try to find whether I have sent something to someone using the interface on my desktop for the old Send and Track feature (which apparently is now called 'Share' another renaming that threw me off this week). As a small business owner, I don't have time for this bull. If you're going to rename things, send us a required video for viewing of changes you're making and…

  10. I've just been updated to the latest Acrobat DC for Windows. It claims to have improved sharing and collaboration options,but this is not good for me. I really miss the mail icon on the toolbar leading giving me a direct option to email the file.

  11. After clicking on send button it says I need to be connected to the internet. I have shut down and restarted everything. Our IT department looked at it and says our settings are all correct and that it looks like it is on the Adobe end.

  12. The new update is HORRIBLE!!! I send paystubs to our employees using tracking and it is taking way longer and freezing up all the time!

  14. You are telling me that I have to save every single document I extract as it's own before I can send it to a recipient via email???? This is going to make my life so much harder and the only reason I even purchased this product was to make it easier to scan multiple documents at once and then being able to quickly extract and send via email each single document I have extracted. How do I go BACK to the old Adobe...I will cancel if there is nothing to remedy this issue.

  15. Connectivity problem. I was unable to send file to my client. I received repeated error messages saying that I was not connected to the internet. I was not having any internet issues. I was actively online as I was preparing to send. I ended up just using my email program.

    Steps to update :
    1. Go to Help→“Check for Updates”.

    Please let me know if issue still exists after update?

  16. Up until the last update, it was possible to email a pdf without first saving it. It is a total waste of time and space to have to save something you don't need to keep just to be able to email it.

    PLEASE FIX THIS BACK THE WAY IT WAS!!!!!!!

  18. This new update has taken away the option to be able to extract and email a single PDF from multiple pages. Now you have to save the individual page before it can be emailed.
    Previously I was able to extract a page from a document (multiple pages) that has already been saved on my drive by selecting - organise pages - extract - extract - selecting email icon on the top of the page.
    PLEASE PUT THIS FEATURE BACK

  20. Send & Track on documentcloud.adobe.com allowed sharing an item BEFORE uploading it. This was extremely useful for 2 reasons: Multiple files share all at once; Didn't have to wait for an upload to finish before sharing. The new Upload File function requires waiting for a giant upload to finish before you can share it. This is no better than DropBox which is much easier to use than Send File.
