  2. Zoom buttons :
1st - they used to be on the top and in view, now they are in the bottom right corner and you can't move them.
2nd - the buttons only move in increments of 25%, 100% is too big, 75% is too small. to have 85% i have to click on the 100 (not the % because if you just have 85, it doesn't work) every time I open a file.

this would not be bad if I was able to set my preferences to a particular %, but that only goes in 25% increments as well…

  3. Provide a back and forward arrows to view previous or next file in current folder.

The reason for this is that it is very time consuming to view a file, close it and open the next file in a folder. I have a free program called IrfanView that I use for image files that has this feature. It really works great and saves time.

  7. 1) Read in the attached file ("a.pdf").
    2) Select "Export a PDF>text (plain)" and save to the file "a.txt"

For me, the file is nearly empty, 14 bytes in size (see attachment). a.pdf has plenty of OCR text and cut-and-paste copies plenty of good-looking text. I don't know how a.pdf was originally created, but in any event export of text should produce something better than this I think.

  8. Tried forwarding using Microsoft Outlook, even though the file is listed in Adobe when the email attachment is added and you try to open Adobe says it cannot find the file.

The idea of using Cloud Storage as a default is a bad idea, i do not want items going trough Cloud Storage.

  9. Every time I convert regular PDFs to PDFA, it rotates at least one of the pages and then I have to try it again. Sometimes I have to try twice before it converts but doesn't rotate the page. Not sure why this happens nor how to stop it.

  10. Since the update I have only been successful with converting a PDF 1 time - I have not been able to convert to Word or Excel (which is what I need) since this last update. I am not getting an error either. I have checked the downloads - Adobe is just not converting.

  11. Acrobat's export of PDF files in Arabic language to any Microsoft Office format does not properly handle right-to-left languages. I know numerous people have complained about this for a number of years and no action has been taken to solve this issue. The export feature is useless in the Arabic region if it does not support the conversion of PDF files in Arabic content.

  12. The Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet feature works great until the form has a signature added to it. After the form is signed only a few of the fields are exported. It's as if the data elements have been truncated.

To replicate... create a form with many data fields (populated) and a signature field but without requesting a signature. Do the Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet... it works great.

Repeat the Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet function but this time after requesting a signature. This time the spreadsheet created has minimal data.

  13. Why will the new layout NOT convert?
I'm trying to do the same thing I have always done with the other layout with no problems, convert PDF to Word, and the Convert Button does NOTHING.

  14. My suggestion is that you add the norwegian letters "Æ Ø Å" so that when we convert norwegian documents from pdf to word/excel the letters are converted correctly.

  16. Why does it take half an hour or more for Adobe Pro (that I have paid for and already downloaded on this PC) to download the ability to export the PDF to a Word doc? This is the basic process that I paid for, I am not signing into a new PC each time I try to use it, the same laptop that I already waited HOURS for the pro functions to download. I will end the subscription if I can't do what I need to do. FFS

  17. Environment: PC running Windows Pro 10. OS Build: 19045.3086

I am running what I believe Is the current Office version (not sure where I find the Word version). Acrobat Pro is 2023.003.20215.

The problem occurs whether I open a Word file from within Acrobat, use the Create PDF button the Acrobat menu in Word, or use the Save As option in Word - the exact same problems happens in all instances.

When I export the document, any text using the Acumin Pro Condensed Semibold font is turned into Times-New Roman and the letters are squished together as if there was…

  19. Working in the medical field, it would be extremely helpful if I could convert a pdf to an EDI file. This would allow me to upload the file into the EMR system and auto post payments.

  20. **NOT FIXED FOR NEW VERSIONS ONLY OLD
Need the ability to change the number of default pages when splitting a document from 2 to 1. I never have to split the document into 2 page increments and changing that number from 2 to 1 every time is tedious and slow. I saw this was fixed 4 years ago but the new versions of Acrobat Pro have the issue again with no solution.
