  1. The option to clear all the fields on a form has been removed. I have a form that I re-use for various jobs, and now I must manually clear all of the fields in the form in order to fill it out afresh. The deletion of this feature irritates me mightily.

    Hi,

    We would like to know, how were you using “clear all fields” option? Was it a button or a menu item?

    Reader cannot “Edit/Modify” PDF and hence “Reset Form” is not available in Reader. As long as you didn’t save the form (as you mentioned), you can use the following command in Acrobat Reader: File > Revert.

    “Clear Form/Reset Form” can only be added via Acrobat. You can ask the author of the form to add a button using Form Fields Properties > Actions > Reset Forms.
    And, if you are the author, you can clear it from Tools > Prepare Forms > More Options > Clear Form.

    I hope this resolves your issue. If not, please share details for more information.

    Also are you facing this issue with a particular document.

    Also can you please share with us some sample files

    1. Open PDF
    2. Open Set Page Boxes - TrimBox
    3. Add a value in "Top", "Bottom", "Left" and "Right": For all sides you can see grey guides in your document. Expect for the right side. The right guideline is somewhere outside the document.

    I have to use this really often so it's quite annoying not to see where the guideline is placed. That means a lot of time for "trying".

    Hi Sarah

    I tried using it myself and the guidelines are visible for all four sides. Can you please share some files where you see this happening (and also a screenshot of the issue so that I can be sure we are on the same page).
    This would help us investigate the issue faster.

  4. Everytime you make an update you make it harder for me to find my edit document button. I just opened one and absolutely none of the icons or right click provides me with edit. Finally I find if I highlight text THEN hit right click I get the menu that allows me to edit. Why take down the one in the header and make me have to do additional steps (highlighting) to be able to edit. I hate when companies adopt the Microsoft culture of calling "improvements" just moving essential commands and options around and saying it's new. At least…

    Hi,

    Sorry for the trouble that you are facing here.
    you can easily use the edit app from the Right hand Panel Menu, Tools center and even on Searching for “edit” in the Tools search in RHP when any doc is launched.

  5. I'd like the option to crop multiple pages in one go instead of individually. e.g. Document with non-print marks. Instead of creating separate PDF with InDesign or other desktop publisher, I'd like to crop all the pages in one go.

  6. Several of our clients who use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC have complained of issues printing PDF's. After troubleshooting the issue we found the cause to be the Enhanced Security option located in Security (Enhanced) in the Preferences. If this option is enabled, disabling it allows our staff to print. We even came to a point where we had to enable it and then disable it to fix printing. This issue seems to have started several weeks ago.

    OS affected:
    Windows 10 Pro
    Windows 7 Pro

    Dear user,

    Please launch the file in Acrobat /Reader. Press CTRL+D and check Security tab in Document properties.
    Please check the Document Restrictions Summary to see the list of actions permitted.
    Please could you share a screenshot of the same.

  8. Bug: When I go to edit PDF and add web links to a full paged image, the image tilts and causes a white line to appear in the bottom right of the page where the image is no longer covering due to the tilt. Also the entire image will look crooked at this point too. I have to go to Edit > Undo to make it go back. This is weird and very annoying and happens every time I use Edit.

  9. I can see certain documents were created in MS Word with simple follow on/flowing text and standard paragraph styles ie no **** text boxes. Even with the export options turned off, Acrobat does this incredibly annoying export to text boxes where it is simply run-on (flowing) text. You then have to extract the text, box by box to get the document to be in an editable form. Even exporting to rtf has similar issues. Exporting to plain text means you have to format.

    In the end, you waste valuable time either extracting the text or having to reformat the text…

  10. I just installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and tried to open a Word document to prepare as a form. Though the file loads in the "Select File" box, nothing happens when I click start.

    Please share the acrobat version you are experiencing this issue with .

    Have you tried it with any other file to confirm that this is not file-specific issue.

    Also, can you “Check for Updates” and re-test the issue with latest version.

  11. Unable to "save-as," export, or e-sign a PDF document.

    Error message when trying to export as another PDF file type, or as another PDF with normal "save as":

    "The File may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder."

    I am using Acrobat 9 Pro on a Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6.

  12. when adding a simple text comment, there is no functionality of right justifying the text (or anything other than left justify for that matter). It would be great to be able to do that, much like one can if one uses a text box comment.

  16. The latest version is taking too much time while saving the file. Sometime the latest version gets corrupted after saving. We fill that the older version was better.

  17. Cannot print single pages when in comparison mode; only prints the summary page. It would be helpful to print single pages so I have a record of what still needs to be fixed in my document, since you cannot save the newer doc version as a separate document with notes intact. At least I would have a hardcopy to refer to.

  19. It is dead slow! I have an 64bit Windows 10 laptop and it takes almost two minutes to exit it! I will toss it for a pirate copy without cloud options.
    It sucks big time.
