Please share the acrobat version you are experiencing this issue with .You can do so using the link -helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product..

Have you tried it with any other file to confirm that this is not file-specific issue.

Also, can you “Check for Updates” and re-test the issue with latest version.

  2. When, if ever, will we see Acrobat thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer?

Select Acrobat DC Preferences>General>Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer. Tick the box to choose this option, close preferences, then reopen it to discover Acrobat DC has unchecked it. Must generate hours of laughs around Adobe's watercooler. Using Windows 10.

Much has been written many many forums a fountain of sorrow from other users feeling the same pain. Please, guys. Fix it?

Your response team gives us a non-working solution, telling us to increase the size of thumbnails in Explorer to a point where content can be seen, but those thumbs are already being displayed at maximum size in Windows…

    Hi Kevin,

I checked your subscription status and it seems normal at our end. And I see you have two machines activate with this Adobe ID. Would you let us know the current status at your end?

    Thanks,

    Hi Toda,

You can use “Create Multiple Files” option in Create PDF Tool in Acrobat for creating individual PDF for each file in a folder.

    Follow these steps:
    1. Make sure you have latest version of Acrobat
    2. Click on “Tools” tab
    3. Click on “Create PDF” icon. It’s usually the first one.
    4. Select “Multiple Files” and check “Create Multiple PDF Files”
    5. Click “Next”
    6. Click on “Add Files” drop down and select “Add Folder”
    7. Browse to your input files and Click “OK”
    8. Select destination folder and Click “OK”

Please let us know if this solves your issue.

    Regards,
    Ritesh

There is no concept of a table in a PDF file.
If you want dynamic table, you can add text form fields that are organized in a grid that resembles a table, but you would have to do this manually.
If you want to insert a static table, the best way to do this is to go back to the original application what was used to create this document (e.g. MS Word, InDesign …)

Let us know if it resolves your issue.

    Regards,
    Gaurav

  6. when you edit the pdf, adobe pro dc doesn't put a box around every line. acrobat 5 did this and it was very easy to format my reports.

  7. Every single pdf document I print ends up giving me a message at the printer (Canon) to check the page size because it's custom.

Every pdf document I send to my MFD (Canon) does not automatically print. It sends a message to pick paper size because it's a custom size. However, it is NEVER a custom size, it's always 8-1/2 x 11. All the settings in my document say to print to 8-1/2 x 11, I've tried shrink and fit and still, I keep getting the message at the printer and have to choose 8-1/2 x 11. Really annoying.

  10. Print to .pdf from word 2013 keeps changing paper size from a4 to 8.5”x11”

Currently have Adobe Acrobat installed on my university machine and am using Word 2013 to compile my thesis chapters and figures (.emf and .png files). However when I either use the ‘create pdf’ ribbon option using press quality settings (adjusted to a4 paper size) I end up with a .pdf with 8.5 x 11 in size. This happens also when printing via Adobe PDF option through word.

  14. editing pdf and question mark boxes

I have been editing a PDF without problem, and now all of the sudden, I have a question mark in a box, littered throughout my PDF. It seems to occur over the letter T. It also won't let me into the text box to edit any more.

Working on a large project with a tight deadline, with hours in the project already..

  16. Need to click two screens to close one document

I use Acrobat Standard DC v.2015.006.30417
Each time I close a document, I get another screen which I then need to click on to close my document. I've seen, online, comments regarding a box, in General Preferences, that can be checked to eliminate this feature, but my version does not have the box.
What can I do to stop this very annoying activity?

  20. Mismatch between splitted file names and bookmark names

Bookmark names are all capital Greek without periods, underscores or other characters. I'm using Adobe Acrobat DC Pro and Windows 7 Professional.
