  1. Put application actions back in the main menus where they belong and can be found.

    Some bright person though it would be cool to hide 95% of Acrobat's functionality outside of the main application menu structure. This is stupid and annoying. It should be put back so that I can use the application like an application rather than like a game where I have to solve the puzzle of finding which buried panel contains the menu or button to bring up any desired action.

  2. Remove the prompt "Do you want to save changes?" for the free version!

    Maybe it's a setting change I need to make but every time I exit out of a document I'm asked if I want to save the changes. I don't have the ability to change anything in the free version so this seems irrelevant.

  3. Make it more like Bluebeam and less like Adobe Acrobat.

    Is there an "Everything" category? There's a reason corporations are moving wholesale to Bluebeam and ditching Adobe Acrobat. It's an awful pile of steaming poo in comparison. Bluebeam has infinitely more usability and utility. In Adobe, it takes a ridiculous amount of unintuitive clicks to get anything done, marking up or drawing anything with shapes is a clustercluck, just managing the organization of a document is a nightmare. If I had control over the software our company uses, Adobe would be gone in an instant. The only way they can get away with this crime is by practically giving it…

  4. What happened to copy as a Table?

    Please bring back highlight, copy as a table, paste!

    In DC you have to highlight, export selection as, save exported info, open file of exported info, highlight exported info, copy and paste.

    What a colossal waste of time!!!!

  5. create pdf from web page sharepoint

    Bug Report: Not all content is captured when creating PDF from web page (SharePoint site)

    When using Create>PDF from Web Page, it usually works fine. However, when I try to use this function on a SharePoint site, the right side of the page gets cut off. I have resized the page, and it makes no difference. It is not an issue with the width of the page. The right 1/3 of the content is obscured with a white bar, even if the page size is twice as wide as it needs to be. I have tried this with various SharePoint…

  6. It would be wonderful to have the tools accessible as dropdowns from the Adobe Acrobat DC. Specifically, the file manager accessibility.

I should be able to get to an overview status of all my sharing and sending/receiving. Now it is confusing since I have two Adobe Acrobats and one is for signature documents, the other is for other pdf documents.

  7. The new HUGE comment icons are botherson.

    The smaller icons were hard to match up with comments/edits, but these huge ones are impossible. Love the comment tool (as a graphic designer who passing brochures and ads off for review) but this feature surely could use improvement. Thanks!

    Thanks for bringing this issue to our notice. Your valuable feedback helps us improving our product. We discussed about this particular issue and we do not have any plans to work on it in immediate future. However, we’ll have it in our radar and might revisit at an appropriate time in future. We shall notify you when we implement this .

  8. Menu Bar is whiteout and cannot click exit to close application.

    The header of my Adobe is all whited out and I cannot click on anything or see what to click on. Even the minimize and exit don't allow me to click on them and if I do they close the application behind adobe. Are you aware of this issue?

  9. Window Snap Bug

    When I first snap the window to the side it fills half the screen perfectly just how it's supposed to, but after opening and closing some pdf's I start to notice that the window is no longer a snug fit to the sides and I have to re-snap it again. It just seems that over time the window shrinks a tad.

    I'm using a TCL 44" Roku TV (second display) & Nvidia Quadro P1000

  10. Turn the Adobe Scan app pop-up advertising off.

    Adobe Scan app advert pops open every time I open a new set of files. I was working on combining many file groups all afternoon and had to stop and close your advertising 6-8 times. The worst part is that I downloaded the app after the first time, so it is unnecessary in every way as well as annoying and a waste of my time.

  11. not able to save pdf because it is open by someone

    Why does not Adobe give an option to open a PDF on a network drive with a notification when the file becomes available for edit. This functionality is there for any MS Office file. This will allow me to update with comments or mark-ups. I do not want to go with a shared review and the rest of the workflow that is associated with it.

  12. Capability to edit the file name and location in the title bar.

    It would be helpful to be able to easily edit the file name and location in the title bar as PDF Expert (Mac) does.

  13. Draw Shapes - add a no fill option

    Please add a separate opacity scale for "fills" and "borders" in the draw shapes, or add a "no fill" option for color. Right now they have to have the same opacity, and it would be nice to add boarders without a filled in box.

  14. Read out-loud the entire pdf file (large ones) starting from any point we'd like it to, all the way thru to the end.

    And highlight the sentence that's being read, and let us change the speed and voice. Please, we're almost 2 decades into the 21st century and I still can't find a program that will do this.

  15. Search window "Arrange WIndows" should use full screen

    When I have the Search window open and click "Arrange Windows" a margin is left around the edges of the screen for no apparent reason. Working on my smaller laptop screen is already a challenge.

  16. Add Quick Access to Advanced Search

    There are many times when I need to do a search through an entire folder structure containing many PDFs. So I go to Advanced Search and select All PDF Documents in, then Browse for Location. A dialog box comes up for selecting a folder. Why does this not include Quick Access? Navigating down to the folder I want is a needless pain in the neck. Seems like a simple thing to add.

  17. Combine files MS Word .doc not working

  18. Find and Highlighter Tool do

    When Use the "Find" function, the words no longer highlight. They just become a Very subtle rainbow color. Same thing if I try to actually use the highlighter tool. It's really hard to determined what I've highlighted, because it doesn't visually reverse the colors as I select the words. Only once I release the mouse does the highlight appear and I can see I if have highlighted things correctly.

    This happens both in DC 2018 as well as DC 2019. It started a couple of weeks ago.

    When the new DC version came out I went into Preferences and UNCHECKED…

  19. Exported PDF does not reflect the most recent changes to my inDesign document

    When I make changes in an InDesign document and REPLACE an already existing pdf the changes I made and SAVED in InDesign do not show in the new replaced pdf file. I have to delete the old version of the pdf and save it under the same name which is more time consuming. All my co-workers seem to have the same problem.

  20. Customizable Hyperlink Labels

    When I embed hyperlinks in a Microsoft product (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) I am able to add a "screen tip" that displays when the link is hovered over instead of just the web address, but when I save to pdf, that text disappears and only the web address is displayed. It would be nice to have the option of customizing the hyperlink labels as needed.
