Make Adobe Acrobat 100% ADA compliant so Blind users can actually use it
Currently, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is not 100% ADA compliant. Specifically, one cannot create or edit PDFs if one uses a screen reader to navigate around their computer screen (i.e. is blind/visually impaired). I currently use JAWS 2018, Windows 10, and have Acrobat Pro DC. I've attempted to create and edit from combining PDFs, using copies, etc. I've even tried using some of your tutorial items to test with and have had the same results (ex. Bodea's Brochure -- the brochure your website tutorial has specifically for practicing editing).

need options when editing
When I edit a document, I do not necessarily want to edit existing text. I do not want Acrobat to do an OCR process on the document and create uncountable text boxes (that can easily be messed up), when all I wanted to do was either crop the image or add a text box. Please allow the OCR conversion to be toggled off.
Also when scanning, if you go into an option like increase resolution, all of the changes (like selection of document size) made on the previous screen are lost and have to be entered again Too time consuming!1 voteHello,
Please have a look at below link. It will let you know the way to turn off automatic OCR.

Let us know if it works for you.

Bug - right click error bookmark properties if different types of bookmarks are selected
I first generated my pdf with automated bookmarks.
I then added a few pages and gave them bookmarks manually. When I try to edit these different bookmarks at the same time by selecting them both and right clicking to get the properties window, the program pops up the error message "Adobe has stopped working."
The only way to edit these different bookmarks is by not selecting the different types at the same time.
OS: Windows 8.1 Enterprise
Expected result: I would like the properties window to open when different bookmark types are selected.
Observed result: The program throws an error…

'Unable to process the page because the Paper Capture recognition service experienced an error
This has been reported on another thread and marked as solved - it isn't. I have just purchased a copy of Acrobat Pro and am unable to edit .pdf's, which is precisiely why I bought it. The subscription simply isn't worth the money without this capability.
I have noticed some suggested solutions but these are highly technical and not something I would have access to do at work.
Could a solution be suggested - fast - as it seems as though this is quite a common error?

Remove Green Box on Button Click
Just wanted to reach out and ask for help on removing an unwanted state appearance from a button I have created on my PDF CV.
Basically I have created a button inside my CV so that when you click on my email at the top, it automatically opens up the users default email programme and pops in my email address in the "To" field which is the expected behaviour , I have also customised the hover sate of the button to display a small red underline which is part of my branding, what I don't like however is that when…

How do I upload Open Sans Light Font into my Adobe Acrobat
How do I upload Open Sans Light Font into my Adobe Acrobat
1 voteFor that to work, you will need the original font file.
To install the font:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/314960/how-to-install-or-remove-a-font-in-windowsAfter installing the font, relaunch Acrobat. You should be able to use the installed font in Acrobat after relaunch.

Clean recent files list
I often receive PDFs but after opening them, decide not to keep them and delete them. Nevertheless, the file name still appears on the Recent File List when I say I want to open a file for editing. This makes it harder to find still existing files that I want to edit. At the minimum, be able to click on a file name on the Recent File List to highlight it and then delete that name (via Delete key or pulldown option). Even better would be to also add a option that I can click on that highlights files on…
4 votesNow you can delete any selected file from Recent list with the latest releases of Acrobat DC.

Not working, rubbish
So I bought this damned thing to edit a pdf. Is it editing the pdf? No. Can I cut? No. The cut command is greyed out. FFS.
$276 right down the drain. Thanks so much, Adobe.

Inserting a table
Inserting a table:
I have no idea how to insert a table in a PDF. The instructions say 'go to insert'. I cannot seem to find the icon- insert.
Pleaes help.1 voteThere is no concept of a table in a PDF file.
If you want dynamic table, you can add text form fields that are organized in a grid that resembles a table, but you would have to do this manually.
If you want to insert a static table, the best way to do this is to go back to the original application what was used to create this document (e.g. MS Word, InDesign …)Let us know if it resolves your issue.
