DOCX export with comments that MS Word recognises
The export to DOCX with comments generates a DOCX file that when viewed in MS Word has highlighted text and overlaid text boxes with the comment text for all of the PDF comments, but they are not recognised by Word as comments and as such do not integrate with its comment tool features.
Please export the PDF comments in a DOCX format that MS Word recognises as comments. Thank-you.

Exporting PDFs to any file does not work
You can't export pdfs in your software. The buttons are there, but they don't work. I'm signed into my account. I am very frustrated, as I do pay for this software that does not function. If you can convert this file & email it to rip@rpmapping.com, I would appreciate it. Please convert to a DOCX format.

Bookmarks from not exported pages included
When I export just one page from a large Word document to PDF, the bookmarks from ALL pages are included, not just from the selected page. That means I have to wait for the programme to run through all 200-400 pages. I think it is a bug in this version, I have never experienced it before.

Give us an option to set default behaviour for the side-bar. I NEVER want to see the ******** Bookmarks tool do it's own thing.
Whoever made the tools sidebar THIS convoluted to operate is ********. Yes, he is allowed to take it personal. Fire that guy. Give us a Default toggle for the sidebar tools, not this half-assed "remember state of" toggle that is buried in the corner.

PDF/A format
The HVAC floor plans I added to the Lupapiste.fi pages do not match the PDF/A format according to its format. Any advice to make this work? I heard you shouldn't use LZW compression.

I'd like to have the ability to set the "Initial View" when exporting pdfs from InDesign.
When exporting pdf proofs from InDesign, Illustrator to send to customers, we typically set the initial view to "Pages Panel and Page". This requires an extra step after we've saved out the pdf and then have to set to view Pages and Pages Panel in Acrobat. Having the option to set the Initial View in the program it's being exported from would make the process more efficient.

A merged PDF file, when emailed out, the recipient received only the first page
Bug: I have a 30-page PDF file that, when emailed out, some recipients see a PDF file with only the first page (although the file size is correct).
The final 30-page PDF was merged from 3 PDF files:
1. File #1: 1 page, converted from Microsoft Word 365 using its native PDF exporter
2. File #2: 2 pages, converted from Microsoft Word 365 using its native PDF exporter
3. File #3: 27 pages, came from an external party who said it was converted from Microsoft PowerPoint 365The scenarios:
1. Scenario 1: emailed out from Outlook 365 to Gmail (and…2 votes -
Save related methods are not being invoked for Tools->export
In the plugin code, I am trying to intercept/replace AVDocDoSave, AVDocDoSaveAs, PDDocSave etc functions to identify the original file when the user tries to export the file from Tools option, and I see that none of the above functions are being called in this flow. But this seems to work when we try export from Menu bar.
This bug is to report the same. I have tried this in Adobe 24 version on mac OS Sonoma. But I think this is applicable to pervious versions as well
Thanks,

Convert PDF to PowerPoint Options
When converting a PDF to a PowerPoint file, Acrobat automatically attempts to convert individual slide elements such as text into editable content.
This is useful for many users, but that makes PDF a far less useful intermediate filetype for locking and preserving PowerPoint formatting than it should otherwise be. In an ideal world, one would be able to turn off that feature and create a PowerPoint file where each individual slide is a static image— leaving zero opportunity for a missing font or any other weird issues to appear whatsoever.

Subject name prepopulation with name of PDF file when emailing PDF
The only way to re-apply this feature, as per the Adobe Tech, is to Disable New Acrobat.
This is like taking 2 steps backward, in order to take 1 step forward. I am unable to use the latest Adobe version because the most critical component of my workflow doesn't exist in the modern (current) interface.
Please add this concept back in.

PDF exporting XLSX not great
One of the primary reasons I am looking at purchasing Adobe Acrobat is to parse PDFs. Here is an example: https://www.kycourts.gov/AOC/Information-and-Technology/Analytics/Documents/UOR_Description_List_Website.pdf
This contains a spreadsheet. When I use Adobe Acrobat Pro to export an xlsx file from this PDF, it's quite bad. Many records get butchered. Is this a common problem? Or is there something particularly problematic with this file?2 votes
