  1. Saved Word.doc file as PDF only to open it and see "Lake Orion Inc" on tab. Don't know who they are...file has nothing to do with them.

    Could you please elaborate what issue you are facing ?
    For better clarity, please include : Problem statement, reproducible steps, OS platform, Acrobat build# that you are using.

  2. When i use the edit PDF function and attempt to edit the text, the wrong letters are appearing after i type. For instance, when i type the letter "N" , "h" shows up, and when I type "o" , "b" shows up. This is extremely frustrating. Please help!

  3. Acrobat is printing the square of however many copies I ask it to print. So, if I print 2 copies, Acrobat actually prints 4. If I print 4 copies, Acrobat prints 16, etc. I am running it on a Mac mini and my printer is an HP LaserJet Pro 400. I have tried turning off the computer & printer, with no success. It is still doing the same thing.

  4. Acrobat Pro DC on Mac OS High Sierra--restore the Print to PDF option. Your product is useless to me without it.

    You will not be able to edit the PDF file created from Adobe LiveCycle Designer in Acrobat

    You need separate application.

  7. Hi Adobe,

    Shame this isn't a bug bounty or I could possibly get some pennies!

    In short, PDFs created in older versions of Adobe do not work with the most recent edition you guys have released.

    A client of ours was missing text when printing, after months of painful driver changes etc, we had found a resolution.

    Any user that creates a PDF in older Adobe software, will not be able to have a colleague print all text/docs/stamps/markups/borders/lines on a PDF within Acrobat. Only downgrading the user to an older unsecure, unsupport Adobe product works.

  9. I first generated my pdf with automated bookmarks.
    I then added a few pages and gave them bookmarks manually.

    When I try to edit these different bookmarks at the same time by selecting them both and right clicking to get the properties window, the program pops up the error message "Adobe has stopped working."

    The only way to edit these different bookmarks is by not selecting the different types at the same time.

    OS: Windows 8.1 Enterprise

    Expected result: I would like the properties window to open when different bookmark types are selected.

    Observed result: The program throws an error…

  12. This has been reported on another thread and marked as solved - it isn't. I have just purchased a copy of Acrobat Pro and am unable to edit .pdf's, which is precisiely why I bought it. The subscription simply isn't worth the money without this capability.

    I have noticed some suggested solutions but these are highly technical and not something I would have access to do at work.

    Could a solution be suggested - fast - as it seems as though this is quite a common error?

  13. Just wanted to reach out and ask for help on removing an unwanted state appearance from a button I have created on my PDF CV.

    Basically I have created a button inside my CV so that when you click on my email at the top, it automatically opens up the users default email programme and pops in my email address in the "To" field which is the expected behaviour , I have also customised the hover sate of the button to display a small red underline which is part of my branding, what I don't like however is that when…

  16. I'm unable to print any pdf files from Acrobat DC to the local network printers. I receive errors: "the document could not be printed" and "an error occurred while printing the document". I am able to print to the printers from other programs. I've been able to print pdfs from Acrobat DC to printers in the past.

  17. pdf documents not opening properly, with blank pages. It is worse if I try and scroll through the article soon after opening it. It will also loose text from the after a time not reading the document. This may be after the computer has been put to 'sleep' for a period (even a few minutes). It reports the error message 'Insufficient data for an image.' The new version is MUCH worse that previous versions. Please sort it out Adobe.

  18. Acrobat DC began closing automatically, again. This is two weeks after I uninstalled the program and then reinstalled. Whether I open a pdf file from the Explorer window or open Acrobat and then select the file to open, the program closes automatically 10-15 seconds after it opens. After reinstalling the program, the problem continues. I have already tried the suggestions from an earlier post (updating the software from the Help menu, repairing the software from the Help menu and running Acrobat distiller). It does seem to be checking my registration status, but does not remain open long enough for me…

    Reader or Acrobat, or the resources they rely on, could have been damaged. Repairing the installation is a quick troubleshooting safeguard.

    (Reader) Choose Help > Repair Adobe Reader Installation.
    (Acrobat) Choose Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.
