I have designed forms that my staff complete & then we provide to external sources. I need these to export as a flat file & don't see how that could be accomplished other than export to MS Word & then to a pdf... kinda labor intensive!4 votes
The program needs an eraser (I've been telling Adobe techs this for years) If you need an example, download a trial version of Bluebeam Revu. Take a look at their crop, eraser, cut and flatten tools. You guys need to step up your game!8 votes
It is dead slow! I have an 64bit Windows 10 laptop and it takes almost two minutes to exit it! I will toss it for a pirate copy without cloud options.

cannot activate acroat dc pro - with existing account keeps going back to Trial expired - buy, i am an annual customer already. Tried to contact live person, held on phone 20+ plus minutes, transferred and have been holding 49.51 minutes so far. Agent said "do not hang up" will take longer. This is ridiculous.. Adobe has no problem in collecting my annual fee for these services, i should have no problems in having full accessibility. What's up Adobe???2 votes
I have users that are experiencing the above described issue. They open up a single PDF, or multiple PDFs, and if they are left open for 60 mins or longer, all pages in the PDFs go blank.
Acrobat DC Pro (2015.006.30355), Windows 10, Microsoft Surface.
We are expecting the PDF pages to be available the entire time the PDF is open.
We've observed that it happens with multiple PDFs and requires the user to close all PDFs and reopen to resolve.2 votes
Could you pls. share how are the PDFs being accessed? Are these kept on a network folder or shared (mapped n/w) drive? Or are you accessing them through a Citrix server or RDP?
Unable to remove the Trial by any means. Unable to use Adobe for pdf now. No suggestion works and I will start looking for alternative software if it continues. My file shredder am worried it will remove 5 years of pdf Invoices. Never again will I try anything suggested by Adobe.

Apologies that we could not meet your requirements. If you could be more specific as to what you were trying and where you faced issues, it would be helpful and perhaps we could resolve the scenario for you.
However, if you want to remove Acrobat Trial, simply uninstall Adobe Acrobat software. After that if you open a PDF file, it will ask which software should take ownership of PDF files.

Please also specify the Acrobat version you are using where this issue is occurring. You will find the version info in Help→About Adobe Acrobat.
when adding a simple text comment, there is no functionality of right justifying the text (or anything other than left justify for that matter). It would be great to be able to do that, much like one can if one uses a text box comment.2 votes

The ability to flatten a pdf is basic and important. We have had an Adobe DC for 2 years now for our business with little in enhancement in feature. I an tired of having to search for a community java script to do a basic operation such as flatten a document. when our annual subscription expires in June 2018 we will be moving to Foxit for all our pdf requirement. Not only is it cheaper but it is full featured.3 votes

I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing. Can you elaborate on the issues you are facing with Acrobat DC?
One Acrobat instance installed but 2 instances of Acrobat PRO DC running concurrently prevent PDFs from opening. Only solution is to quit "both" Acrobats and try again. Uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat does not help. Uninstalling and reinstalling the entire ACC suite does not help either. Problems observed in three separate, not networked Macs. No Acrobat Free Reader installed on the systems either.2 votes
Can you elaborate on the behavior here:
1. What happens when you open a PDF with Acrobat? Does it trigger two instances of Acrobat.
2. When you just launch Acrobat from finder, does that also trigger two separate instances.
The process to make a PDF accessible is overly complicated and buggy. Usually while doing this, something will go wrong and the only way to fix it is to close the document, open it again, do the same process and hope it works. This process should be as simplistic as possible so everything can be accessible.31 votes

If my understanding is correct, you purchased some product but could not downlaod. Can you provide some more details please? Exactly which product/version did you purchase? Did you purchase online? If so, did you receive an email with the download link?
I have a merged PDF document to which I added multiple bookmarks.
When I run advanced optimization as I usually do, it removed half of my bookmarks.
This has never happened before.
This is a task that I perform every other month and has worked fine for years.

When I use the Combine Files or Organize Pages Tool, some text in the PDF files, in which all text had displayed correctly, is converted to square block shapes. The problem seems to correlate with the size of the combined file. As file size increases, more text is converted to square block shapes.1 vote
