  2. As Bates Numbering/Stamping is commonly used in the legal profession and because we typically handle a large number of documents it would be nice if Adobe had the capability to allow you to Add Bates Numbering Ranges to the EXISTING File Names.

For example, after you click on Add Bates Numbers, you can click on Output Options, and the window pops-up where you can have the option to either keep the original file names OR replace the file names with the starting and ending Bates Number (e.g. 000100-000115.pdf). I want to do both and keep the original file name with…

  5. I want to save a handful of pages from a pdf that's has 175 pages. When I try to extract the pages, I get an error pop-up that indicates there was an error in the page number input, however there wasn't a second window to input the pages I want to extract. I pay an exorbitant amount of money for the Adobe service that I have and I am astonished that such a simple thing cannot be done with your software.

I am attaching images of what happens even though I follow the correct process of extracting pages, (first screenshot)…

  6. At the time I got e-signed PDF files from our business partner I could open the files. However suddenly the files got password locked although nobody didn't make password lock on the file.

This phenomena happens under specific environments and not happens under another specific environments I write following.

As additional information, I indexed PDF files including above files. Nevertheless almost all of indexed PDF files haven't gotten password locked, so that I cannot attribute the reason of unintentional password lock to indexing.

Correct status should be ‘Implemented’. ‘Resolved’ is used when we resolve a customer’s concern without making any changes in the software.

  7. When I try to edit a PDF in Acrobat DC it crashes every single time. I have uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, ran fix the install, made sure protected view was off, made sure it was activated with Adobe distiller. I have tried everything on this page. In January was no problem??

  8. Multiple Users - Multiple PDF files. Mixed Windows 7 32/64bit and 10. All versions of Adobe Acrobat DC. Since the update 18.11.2003x when opening a PDF within IE it's asking for a password. Chrome is not an option.
Our current workaround is removing all adobe apps and reinstalling before the update. Then disabling the auto update.
    Looking for long term solution.

Right status is Implemented. Resolved is used when we resolve an issue with help, educating the user, providing workaround etc. Actual work from our side in this case – hence Implemented.

  9. In the page thumbnail area in Adobe it would be nice to be able to jump a page from its current location to the front or end of a document. Also, it would be nice to be able to copy paste a page in this area as well.

    Thank you.

Form opens as usual on computers that have not received the recent update.
When we try to open the form after the Acrobat update, form requires password to open ('std634.pdf' is protected. Please enter a Document Open Password.)

  11. In Windows Japanese language environments, Acrobat DC and Acrobat Reader DC don't have menu accelerators such as Alt+F and Alt+E for Edit, even though Alt+F, Alt+V and Alt+H work fine. See attached.
I guess that their resource file may define menus like "ファイル", "編集", "表示(&V)", "ウィンドウ(&W)" and "ヘルプ(&H)". Fix first 2 of them like "ファイル(&F)" and "編集(&E)".
I also guess these definitions are in ExLang32.JPN, but I'm not sure.
I've observed this issue, most of Acrobat DC and Acrobat Reader DC running on my Windows 7. I am confirming it with Acrobat Pro DC 2015.006.30413 today.

    Hi

You can now drag and drop files to re-arrange them in a portfolio. You can also create a folder and add files in it via drag & drop in the latest version of Acrobat DC.
I will close this case. Please reopen another thread if you feel you issue still hasn’t been addressed.

    Thanks
    Tanvi

  14. Acrobat Customization Tool > Online Services and Features > Third-party connectors. The only option is to disable or enable all third party connectors. You should add the option to select which third party connectors are enabled. We would like to use OneDrive only but unfortunately, this also allows Dropbox and Box.

  15. I am so SICK of the brain dead idea that we need to have our names plastered all over everything in our user interfaces in case we forget who we are or, as somebody with an oversized paycheck and an undersized amount of common sense might put it, "to personalise the user experience".

What it REALLY does is compromise our privacy. Constantly. We've working on a scree at lunch time or on a train? There's our name, for anyone to see. We take a screenshot? There's our name. It serves NO copnstructive purpose and it is ANNOYING.

    Yet there it…

  17. It is very annoying to change the layout of the interface when users are used to a certain layout for years. Please put the tools in the side bar instead of a tab. This wastes time to go to another screen and then after clicking on the tool, it opens up.

  18. When I drag an excel file to the Adobe dock icon or attempt to create a PDF in Acrobat I get an error of a duplicate file in the temp folder.

I've tried clearing out the temp folder. Also, I've reinstalled Acrobat and Microsoft office. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

Please try it out and let us know your feedback.
Thanks for your patience and support!

    With Best Regards!

  19. Currently, even though an MS Word document may have a Title property, when the PDF is created the Acrobat default initial view is to the document file name rather than the PDF's title properties. Since this doesn't pass the accessibility check it requires that the setting be changed on each PDF. I would like to see it either default to the Title property, or provide the option in the PDF Maker plug-in for MS Word.

    Hi

This feature has now been enabled in Acrobat Pro DC with the October update but it is by default turned Off.
In order to enable it, you would need to create a Reg_Dword “4255031” and set it to 1 at the following location:

    \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureState

Please note: This will work for only PDFs from Word/Excel which have been created using Acrobat post setting this registry and won’t work for older PDFs.

    Thanks
    Tanvi
