  2. Since last update of Adobe Acrobat Std/Pro, our engineers are not able to sign drawings cause now a predifined rectangle appears which is way too large. People have to sign at the right side of the drawings (DIN A0) with a very small rectangle. You have now to place the new predefined rectangle where top left corner have to fit with top left corner of drawing field. Therefor, you have to zoom out the document to be able to place the rectangle. That way, it's hard to see if you sign the right field at the drawing. Signing hundreds of…

  4. remove the DC function from acrobat DC so users cannot access cloud files. this is a grave security risk. the feature has to an option at installation time so a user cannot switch it on.

  5. My folder-level javascripts place icons on the toolbar using an iconstream. These exact scripts have worked in every version of Acrobat and Reader I have used for several years on both PC and Mac platforms.

In Acrobat DC, the icons behave erratically, sometimes rendering appropriately and sometimes only showing the red Lego-like shape icons rather than the true icon.

The scripts still function properly when invoked by clicking the Lego-like shape icons, but the lack of the scripts' appropriate icons decreases their effectiveness.

I have removed the folder-level scripts, restarted the system and Acrobat and then re-installed the scripts with…

  6. Steps to reproduce:
Opened Acrobat DC --- a popup about integration with Microsoft Office appeared.

Environment: MacOS 10.11.6, Acrobat DC 2017.009.20044

    Expected result:
I should be given immediate access to the Close button or the Continue button.

    Observed result:
The popup hijacked the app, with a spinning beachball cursor, for several seconds - at least 10 seconds. This is not the only performance issue I've seen - I've reported others that still aren't fixed. It all ads up.

  7. Why does it say the update could damage my computer. I am sick of seeing update notifications and then after downloading the update it says this could damage my computer. Get your act together and stop doing this to your customers.

  8. Please make a toolbar or something that allows for a one touch colour change for Highlighting.
Its is time consuming to have to go into properties and set as default everytime i decide to change highlight colour.
As a student I need to be able to have a variety of colours available for highlighting in order to have organized notetaking

  9. On the Apple version of adobe: it is very tedious and takes time+ lots of clicking to change the colour of highlights. and its even HARDER to change the fonts, colours of text in the textbox option.

As a student who primarily notetakes on PDF its really a setbck when taking lecture notes for a high intensity lecture.

  10. It would be nice if there was an "insert blank page" option that could identify the page properties of the document you're working in and insert a blank page with the same properties as the rest of the document.

  12. I have a user that needs Adobe Acrobat XI Standard and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed on the same machine. I am using the latest version of Reader DC (15.023.20070) and Acrobat XI Standard (11.0.19). Reader DC is already installed on the machine. When I install Acrobat XI, it immediately crashes with an APPCRASH on Acrobat.exe with a StackHash_0a9e fault module. Reader continues to function as intended. Is there anyway to get this working?

  15. There are many basic youtube videos on creating forms. I need to know how to create complex forms with equation, reference fields and so on. What i learned from what is available out there is not adequate and doesn't work all the time. So better instructions are needed. You sell a product but must also provide good instructions on how to use it well. If there isn't any internal resource, please contract 3-party to do so. i have spent so much time on it and am still fumbling around. Very unproductive with my time.

  17. Reporting a bug - I have Adobe XI Pro on a Macbook Pro using Sierra 10.12.3. The highlighting tool selects text but will not actually impose a color over the selected text. Any ideas?

  18. My idea is an automated system to stop overcharging and continuing monthly billing when a customer uninstalls Acrobat Pro from their Creative Cloud. Although I don't have it Acrobat Pro installed on any system I continue to be charged. As a loyal customer I would love to see this work properly so that I don't need to waste my time hunting for the money that is being removed from my account.

    1. Open a protected document with the correct password.
    2. Try to unsecure the document in "Document Properties" -> "Security", choose "no security"
    3. A pop-up asking password shows up, Enter the same correct password as used to open the document.
    4. "The password is incorrect". Cannot unsecure the document.

    Hi

You can achieve this by converting the PowerPoint presentation from Acrobat via Tools > Create PDF workflow.
Please ensure that checkbox to Use Acrobat Cloud service is checked while selecting the file.

    Thanks
    Tanvi
