  2. Acrobat Pro used to be seamless, easy to use and efficiently laid out. Now it looks like some child's puzzle game where you have to access numerous screens to accomplish what you used to be able to do from ONE PLACE.
    Maddening, dumb redesign that apparently was done for what? Tablet use? Why ruin something many of us use in professional settings so students and casual users can play around with their school prom flyer on mom's ipad?
    It is ugly and not at all intuitive. Clearly the project team didn't have anyone with institutional knowledge involved.

  3. Every time we open a SharePoint PDF, Acrobat asks to Checkout and Open, Open, or Cancel. Please let me skip this question to browse quickly! It is an Adobe problem, not Microsoft! It only happens on Acrobat.

  4. I was previously able to sign documents using a saved image via the fill and sign feature. I have now installed DC and when i open the fill and sign feature, I am able to add text to a PDF document but when i click the 'Sign' button, my saved signature images do not load. The box which is supposed to contain the signature images shows up but there is no content in it.

    This is happening with multiple docs. I was able to use this feature without any trouble until a few days back.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting the issue. Can you please provide us some more details :

    1. Please make sure you are on the latest version of Acrobat. To check go to Help > Check for Updates.
    2. Are you observing a blank Sign drop down in Fill and Sign app?
    3. Are you able to use the Adobe Sign application?
    4. Can you please try signing out and then signing in to Acrobat?
    5. Are you under some network/firewall restrictions? If yes, can you please disable them and try again.

    Can you please try signing out from your application. Go to Help > Sign out.

    Sign in again to the application and try to use Fill and Sign.

  6. Current default color is nearly unreadable. All my PDF's are using this color, so it's the default. Unable to change the color except by opening every PDF with bookmarks & changing using properties bar. Color change should be easier

  7. When running the form field autodetection there are e.g. multiline text form fields detected. The names of those fields and the alternate field names have a length of up-to 2249 characters (consisting of nearly the whole page text).
    I know that theoretically text strings can be 32K or greater however a meaningful name should be much shorter. So would it be possible to limit the size to a meaningful length of lets say 255? In case no string can be detected the name is "undefined_28" which is good and short...

  8. Unknown error when trying to insert a signature.

    "Operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error."

    I've closed the program and restarted my computer but the error persists.

    This looks like a PDF specific issue. Can you please try to edit the same PDF file using Edit app. Let us know how it goes.

  9. Allow the setting of maximum font size for a field when creating a fillable form. This will prevent huge text in a field if there is a small amount of text but would still allow text to reduce in size automatically to fit within the field if needed.

  10. During the process of preparing a fillable form from a template, there are certain style attributes that have to be changed to meet my personal style preferences (e.g. font, check-box/radio-box options, form field attributes, and so on).

    Performing these changes on simple forms is not a difficult task but, when dealing with an extensive (e.g. multi-page, multi-field type form) template, this process can be pain-stakeingly tedious and result in lack of continuity.

    A feature which would allow the user to change the defaults in the Prepare Form feature so that the fillable form would be created with the user specified…

  11. I would like to have an index page created (from name of pdf's) or the possebility to type in one myself at the first page when adding mutliple Pdf's into one. with a link on the index page to the pages througout the new pdf.

  12. Hi,

    I have an Action Wizard doing the following:
    1. OCR
    2. Optimize
    3. Save the file
    When I run this same Action on two separate Machine against a folder with a lot of PDF files in it, after running for a while, say doing 100 - 300 files, if fails. The DC Student version gives out of memory dialog box error and stops and the Pro DC version gives a dialog box saying "There was an error opening the document...." I will attach the screen shut of the error I get.

  13. We need the ability to convert folders/subfolders containing .msg files to a PDF Portfolio file. But the .msg extension is not a supported extension for conducting this conversion. The only way to do it is to create a folder in Outlook and drag all of the .msg files into the folder, which isn't practical and is an extra step. All of the other Microsoft file types seem to be supported (docx, xlsx, pptx, etc.), so I'm not sure why the .msg file type isn't supported.

  14. This is for Acrobat Pro DC.
    We have the option to open 'Files' from OneDrive.
    When I navigate to a folder in my OneDrive the files are displayed in what appears to be Name order. I would like a way to Sort those files into other orders. For Example, Date Descending/Ascending.

  16. I like that I can now scroll through the entire document and not just one page at a time but I can't scroll with my touchscreen because it always thinks I'm trying to "fill". It would help a lot if I could also scroll using touchscreen in my business.

  17. Aside from "My Drive" storage, "Team Drive" should be implemented also. A company like ours is currently using Google Team Drive only which I believe many companies also uses the same cloud storage.

    At the moment our licenses are of no use since we cannot integrate our Acrobat DC with TEAM DRIVE. Appreciate if you can please look into it with priority.

  18. Attachments need to be converted to be included and placed behind the email. Email + attachment in one PDF, not embedded. As previously noted, this is a very important feature for law firms.

  19. For the love of dog, I want every. single. PDF. to open "Fit One Full Page". Always! Why is there not a default, and if there is a way to default it so I don't have to do it manually every stinking time please someone tell me!

  20. We use sync.com for long term storage of documents. It would be great to be able to integrate documents on sync.com with Adobe Document Cloud, and quickly save/upload from/to sync and DC.
