This may be Important to the users who work on several pdfs at a time but wish to retain the opened docs in the next Acrobat session.
Also Session could be managed to retain even after machine restart and then launching acrobat.

Recently, I am unsure if was a recent update or because I have updated to highSierra on my mac, there is no longer a 'transparent' option available.

  8. The standard setting for a bookmark is Fit Width. The ability to change that to Inherit Zoom or other setting is necessary as the Courts require bookmarked documents with Inherit Zoom setting. It takes 8 clicks per bookmark to change this. There is no way to select all bookmarks and change them all at once or make a permanent setting. I submit Administrative Records with hundreds, sometimes thousands of bookmarks and each one of those has to be individually clicked on and changed - x 8 clicks. Very tedious and time consuming.

The Set Default Bookmark Zoom Level menu item is now added to the PDF bookmark options. While creating a new bookmark, you can easily use this option to set the default zoom level. By default, the Inherit Zoom option is selected.

Also, Acrobat now provides an option in the bookmark properties to retain the destination page number when you adjust the zoom level of multiple bookmarks.

  11. As Bates Numbering/Stamping is commonly used in the legal profession and because we typically handle a large number of documents it would be nice if Adobe had the capability to allow you to Add Bates Numbering Ranges to the EXISTING File Names.

For example, after you click on Add Bates Numbers, you can click on Output Options, and the window pops-up where you can have the option to either keep the original file names OR replace the file names with the starting and ending Bates Number (e.g. 000100-000115.pdf). I want to do both and keep the original file name with…

  12. For the highlight function, there should be the ability to change colors easily. Right now the process is cumbersome and time-consuming. When I have to be able to access my highlighted test for citations, it would be wonderful to be able to export to word documents with a click.

  14. If you already have an object selected and need to add to that selection the common universal procedure is to hold down the shift key on the keyboard while clicking the object you want to add to the already made selection. It works fine unless you have the "Output Preview" window open. In that case instead of adding to a selection it creates a new sticky note. You used a universal keyboard/mouse combo for "adding to a selection" to instead create a new sticky note but only when "Output Preview" is open. This needs to be changed to a different…

    Hi All,

With the latest update of Acrobat on 13th Feb, this issue has been addressed. Make sure you are on the latest update by visiting Help > Check for updates (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/continuous/dccontinuousfeb2018.html#dccontinuousfebruarytwentyeighteen/ ).

We have added a preference "Use Shift + Click for Multiple Selection with Output Preview " to enable multiple objects selection when the output preview dialog is open. To select multiple objects, use Shift + Click. To add a sticky note containing the color values, use Alt + Click (on Windows) or Option + Click (on Mac).

For more details, refer https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/previewing-output-acrobat-pro.html .

Please try it out and let us know your feedback.

    Regards,
    Priyanka Jain

With the latest release, we have added a checkbox that will turn off the automatic OCR.

    1. Open any scanned pdf.
    2. Go to Edit PDF.
    3. Wait for OCR to complete.
    4. On the right hand pane, uncheck the “Recognize text” option. (Alternatively, if you see a button ‘Revert to Image’, click on it).

This will turn off the auto-OCR feature. Now, Acrobat will not run OCR automatically. Acrobat remembers this setting so that you do not have to uncheck it again.

Let us know if this helps.

We already support this with the “Pinning of navigation pane” feature. i.e. to open any Navigation Pane by default for all the documents in the LHP.
This is how you can try this out:

    1) Launch any PDF and Expand the Panel that you want the acrobat to open by default for every document(For Ex. Page Thumbnails)
    2) Right click on the LHP Navigation strip , Select the option from the context menu “Pin Page thumbnails” .
    3) now try out by launching any other pdf → You will observe that the Page thumbnails panel would appear expanded by default on launch (If document does not have any other document specific preference )

This Feature is applicable to DC and Classic 2017 track (not available in Classic 2015)

    Thanks
