  2. I am running the Adobe Suite on a Mac Pro.

After maximizing Adobe Acrobat with a PDF I'm interested in reading, I usually go and browse the internet (Google Chrome). While browsing, Acrobat will randomly minimize and lay over my browser. In order to remove it, I have to re-maximize. I'm not sure why it does this.

  4. I've set 'page zoom to defualt width' in 4 different areas and i can't get the desired behavior of keeping the same zoom level when I click betwen chapters (short of manually setting the click>go to behavior for each chapter). Main properties doesn't have an effect and neither does setting the default page zoom from the properties menu accessed from the side panel (with all the chapter links). The top bar page zoom is reset after every chapter jump.

  5. The point of origin of the rulers in Acrobat professional is at the top left of the medium size of the pdf. It would be very handy to select a checkbox in the preferences to set this point to the upper left of the trim box instead of the mediabox. - OR it would be nice to change this point of origin like in InDesign. This way it is much easier to check distances or sizes of elements in Acrobat.

  6. All other software have movable rulers, it is handy to be able to adjust your starting point when checking positions of elements.

  7. Why does Adobe go out of its way to make Adobe Acrobat so hard to use? It is not well organized with tools and commands spread everywhere on the screen. Worse, there seems to be zero logic as to how it is organized--except that it appears to be in the most confusing way possible. So frustrating.

  8. Acrobat Pro is used for intense, professional work. It's current incarnation is stripped down for an emphasis on reading, adding a few comments, and signing PDFs: in other words, the functions of the Standard version.

Please bring Acrobat Pro up to the standard set by Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Please unify the user interfaces and commands with the other tools in the Creative Cloud so that professionals feel at home with the tool that helps them collaborate in a world where PDF is the digital deliverable format of choice.

  10. When I first snap the window to the side it fills half the screen perfectly just how it's supposed to, but after opening and closing some pdf's I start to notice that the window is no longer a snug fit to the sides and I have to re-snap it again. It just seems that over time the window shrinks a tad.

You can enable or disable ‘view cursor coordinates’ using file menu view> showhide> cursorcoordinates.
We can not make this setting always on by default.

  16. all adobe products i am using in my MacOS Mojave have an issue with smooth scrolling. it is exaggerating my scrolls --- from zooming with Photoshop and Illustrator, to scrolling through documents with Acrobat DC Pro. All of them exaggerates my smooth scrolling. But in other apps and in MacOS entirely, i do not have that problem. only in adobe products. After reading through some forum posts in Adobe, this issue has been present since the early versions of MacOS and up to this day is not fixed. somebody fix it. Thanks.

  17. Typically, repeatedly, I simply want to attach a reduced-size pdf to an email. All it took was a simple pull-down menu to do the reduced size and text recognition.
My time is valuable to me. Now creating/iusing a pdf...WHEW!
If I'm having difficulty figuring out all the new PDF gingerbread and where basic tools are hidden...what about those who are not computer inclined?
Please! New features are great in themselves. Don't reshuffle the pdf layout like cards and make those committed/using PDF's flounder!

  20. I fill out forms all day long. It is 60% of my business. I chose to purchase Adobe because it saved me hours. Since the last update it has increased my time spent handling these forms. 1. The auto detect for box size is gone, it just puts everything in billboard size letters and I have to change every line. 2. I can begin to fill, but then it locks up and shuts down. This means I have to start begin again. It will do this continuously unless I do a total restart for my computer and then it may…
