  1. When exporting a PDF to Word, the files automatically default to Turn Spell Check off. This has caused numerous errors in my documents as spell check is an necessary function. This is under the Review tab, language Function in Word. I don't understand why Adobe would default to that. It did not used to do that. At the very least, you should offer the option to the individual doing to conversion to have the choice in their setup.

  2. I spend all day compiling pdfs from multiple files and these 2 features are driving me crazy! In the newest Acrobat Pro DC version everytime I access the thumbnails panel it goes back to a long strip of pages stacked one above the other, I generally prefer to have 2 or 3 pages in a row and it never remembers this and always defaults back to 1. The other thing I hate is opening all new files in the same window - I regularly grab a page(s) from one pdf and drag into the other pdf and now I have…

    I am sorry for the inconvenience you faced. Can you elaborate on the issues you are facing with Acrobat DC and allow us to help you here.

  5. Would like to have the "rotate left" and "rotate right" buttons available in Acrobat Standard XI. The 3 step rotate page system is clunky.

  6. If I am working for several hours in acrobat dc, the organize feature will show only blank pages... no content. I have to close the program and restart it to view the images. It will work for about 20-30 minutes and then do the same thing. UGH.

    Sorry for such a delayed response on this and for the trouble you were going through.
    I tried using the tool with several files and could not see the issue.
    Can you please try upgrading your Acrobat to the latest version and see if that resolves the issue for you.

    If not, can you please share the file(s) where this happens.
    This would help us in investigating the issue faster.

  8. Our county's superior court system requires that we e-file all documents into the court; upon filing a document with the system ("LINX"), LINX timestamps it.

    This doesn't work with a certified e-signed document, because Adobe locks the document from future editing. If I try to e-file a certified copy, LINX immediately rejects the file, because of course LINX can't timestamp it.

    I'm forced to print out the file, physically scan it again, and e-file the document that I had e-signed in the first place! Am I missing a checkbox somewhere that I can check, to force Adobe to allow editing…

    Thanks for writing to us.

    From what I understand, you require your PDF to be digitally signed again, after you have shared it after certifying and digitally signing by your signature? Can you please try these steps and see if this is what you require:

    1. Open PDF in Acrobat DC. From Tools→ select ‘Prepare form’ app and click Start. Add (at least) 2 signature fields from top toolbar and save the document
    2. Right click on the first signature field and select ‘Certify with visible signature’. In the Certify Document dialog that comes up, under ‘Permitted Actions After Certifying’, select ‘Form fill-in and digital signatures’
    3. Now sign the document by adding your signature
    4. Send the document to LINX now

  9. I'm trying to delete pages from a multi page document in Docman (PCTi Solutions) with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I am not getting the delete option unless I check the full document out onto my desktop, edit it there, drop it back into Docman and delete the original. I want to amend the original not delete it. What an I missing??

    This looks like an issue with Docman. Did you try getting in touch with their support team?
    If they need any help from Adobe in adding some functionality, they can contact us through corporate channels.

  10. If you have the "new" DC Reader...get rid of it.
    it's slow.
    it's choppy.
    The phrase "Not Responding" shows up more than a taxi in New York City.
    This has got to be the crappiest Adobe product I've ever had the displeasure of working with.
    I've told my company's IT department to start looking for something else.
    Acrobat Reader DC is pure American ****.

    I suggest you update your Reader to the latest version and if you still face any issues please elaborated them and allow us to help you.

  14. According to the documentation provided by Adobe and Brother the printer should be able to switch trays and print the image on the correct size paper. The tray switching works but despite numerous hours on the phone with Apple and Brother the document prints as if it's on letter when it should be on legal. I've followed the directions provided by Adobe but the documents do not print correctly,

  15. After installing a printer while Adobe Acrobat and/or Reader is already open and has a PDF open, attempting to print to it prints to a different printer, even though the new printer appears in the list. Acrobat/Reader must be closed and reopened in order to print to the new printer.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Open Acrobat or Reader.
    2) Open a PDF
    3) Install a new printer
    4) Attempt to print the PDF to the newly installed printer (it appears in the list of printers)
    5) The PDF prints to a different printer.

    Environment: Windows 7 64-bit. Acrobat version 11…

    1. Are you working in Acrobat/Reader?
    2. Do you want an option to remove watermarks from an un-signed PDF document or from a signed PDF?
    3. Do you want to remove watermarks from PDFs you created or the documents you have received from others?

  17. This is a bug report.
    I used Adobe Pro DC to encrypt documents for emailing to outside agencies among other things. Today, I discovered after sending a document to a co-worker for review, the default PDF reader on Windows allows access without the password required... simply by hitting the cancel options. I spoke with the Adobe Pro help line for an hour today and they asked me to write this report. The application used is called Windows reader, when opened you cannot print or edit but you can view the document without any obstacles, I was also able to take…

  18. I've just noticed that in the Combine Files panel, the thumbnails of the files I pull in are squished out of proportion. The thumbnails of the finished file (after I click "Combine") are just fine though - no issues with those. But the squished thumbs are very strange.
