  1. With the 21.005.20048 Planned update, June 08, 2021, it introduced a new issue that didn't previously exist with our TMW application from Trimble.

Error = The ordinal 3282 could not be located in the dynamic link library
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.dll.

This error did not exist with the May 11 update. This error was introduced this week with the Jun 8 update.

I need to know how to roll-back or reinstall the 21.001.20155 Planned update, May 11, 2021 until this is fixed.

Please contact Trimble for more information. They may be reaching out to you as well to understand…

  2. When viewing a file in fullscreen mode, if a second file is opened it will display in normal mode, but with the menu cut off at the top. It's as though the app is still scaled up to make the main content the size of the screen. This prevents access to the menus and minimize/close buttons.

By switching back to the first PDF and exiting fullscreen mode this can be mitigated, but the bug should be fixed in the app.

  4. I make ADA Accessible documents. Inherit Zoom is a necessary thing.

When I need to combine multiple pdf files into one document I often create a narrative that includes links to other pages of that document. I back up those links with bookmarks.

While it's quite easy to change all of the bookmark actions at once to Inherit Zoom, it's not so easy to change the links.

Currently each link action must be edited individually. And each Zoom is set to custom. There is considerable time taken to adjust each one, especially when I have 50 to 200 links in…

    Hi,

We are delighted to share with you that Acrobat and Reader Desktop release for DC Continuous (20.012.20041) is Live now and this takes care of this Feature Request

For more Info refer here : https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/whats-new.html

The Set Default Bookmark Zoom Level menu item is now added to the PDF bookmark options. While creating a new bookmark, you can easily use this option to set the default zoom level. By default, the Inherit Zoom option is selected.

Also, Acrobat now provides an option in the bookmark properties to retain the destination page number when you adjust the zoom level of multiple bookmarks.

Please update your Acrobat (It should Auto update or you should do Help → Check for updates) and let us know your Feedback.

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

  6. Build 19.8.20071 has completely removed the redaction pop-up menu to "repeat mark across pages", "apply redactions", and to choose from the user-defined code set. The only way to apply redaction codes is to manually go into the properties menu on each and every redaction to apply the redaction code.

  8. This problem has been happening since the 2017 updates. Yesterday I did a clean install of Windows 10 for another issue, and the problem persists even after re-installing Windows and CC.

    Steps:
    1. Open a PDF file.
    2. Open "Print Production" -> "Convert Colors"
    3. Under "Matching Criteria" select "Color Type -> Spot Colors"
    4. Click "OK"

Then Acrobat Crashes for me every time, on every PDF file I try.

I use this feature a lot because our equipment is CMYK Digital, and we often get files with Spot Colors submitted for printing.

    I am assuming this is a but…

  12. i have a script that with batch forms merges using excel data and i want to save them as [last name], [first name].

it's important because 1. i have a lot of people with the same last name 2. some of the last names have two names and some of the first names have two names so it's not obvious which is the last name and 3. it's ridiculous that other characters like underscores, hyphens and semi-colons are safe, but commas aren't

    this.saveAs(outputDir + "1150 " + this.getField("Last Name").value + " , " + this.getField("First Name").value + ".pdf");
