1. Quick Tools Cluster Is Draggable now
If you want to have the Quick tools on the Top Bar in left Position It can be achieved by Dragging them on top bar to left side. Doing this quick tools will not be hidden on Re-Sizing the window.

2. Customization of Tools in HUD
Now users can customize the tools present in HUD as per there preferences. Right Click on Top bar and Unselect the Tool which you would like to remove from the HUD. Similarly you can check the Tool you want to add in HUD,

It does NOT address the topic.

The topic is to be able to remove "share", "feedback", "Learn Adobe", "Notifications" and "Profile and settings" if we wish to.

These (NEVER USED) options use up too much space and DO NOT BELONG where they are.

Repeatedly telling us about other things simply show a complete lack of professionalism at best.

How does a company with the resources of Adobe not have a basic pdf UI l that can be customized and backed up?

Is their building in San Jose just full of one big brain-dead marketing department, and nobody to design something useful?

I've long moved on to Bluebeam Revu, which offers a single lifetime license (so its cheaper), and WAY more advanced UI and features.

I can only answer for Mac:

The file should be named something like: com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist (I am still using XI)

Where does one find the preference file(s)?

The only way I know to save your toolbars would be to backup/copy the Acrobat preference file(s).

To the person who asked about saving the toolbar.... I don't think so, but I've never actually looked for a way to do that. What we did at our office was take a screen shot and save that. It's a pain to reconstruct (I had to when I got an upgrade that reset everything back to the defaults), but at least we knew what we needed to do.

Is there anyway to copy and save the toolbar? Every time there is an upgrade, I lose all the tools. Plus, I would like to be able to save the toolbar so I can copy it on all of the other machines which have Acrobat

I Just compared with Acrobat X: There you have 20 comments in the window at glance and in the former version it's just 9 comments! And if I click on a comment it's gets a bit bigger what leads to slipping of all comments, when I click on the next. So it's hard to orientate. And I have to scroll much more than in X!

The current non-customisable areas are rigid and wasteful. And now the custom toolbar doesn't even stick — I have reset it manually with each session. Users should be allowed to customize which toolbars show and which don't. And it would be useful to bring back the detachable palettes, to reduce cursor movement too.

Remove my all bug file

Ok, you let us remove the big blue share button. But you have NOT resolved this issue with the Dec 11 2018 update.

Let us get rid of all the useless buttons on the right end of the toolbar (including the little share button, which you left untouchable). News flash--many of us don't need to share, big blue button or little button. We don't want the Feedback button or the Learn button. We want our SPACE back.

I ACCIDENTALLY WENT INTO "CUSTOMIZE COMMENT TOOLS" AND MY ABILITY TO WORK FURTHER ENDED AS THOUGH I HAD BEEN SABOTAGUED. IT IS SUNDAY WITH A PROJECT DUE AND I AM SCREWED AS THERE IS NOTHING IN ANY GUIDE HOW TO REMOVE THIS PERNICIOUS SCREEN!!!

We have noted down your concern. We are already working in making Toolbars more flexible, will update you soon once we have one of the features requested by you.

This is under review, I wish Adobe would review their entire interface. I find it extremely difficult to find what I consider even the simplest, most common tools. I don't know, maybe this program was not designed for someone like me (occasional user, not an expert). I wouldn't care or even use Adobe, except that it is our mandated/approved pdf software on my organizations systems. I could offer examples, but it is clear Adobe doesn't really care. At home I use much, much easier and far less frustrating pdf software.
