PLEASE Don't make the user go through a menu to check off a comment! You DOUBLE the time it takes to go through comments.
PLEASE ELIMINATE the need to go through a dropdown menu just to check off a commnet.
IT WAS FINE to have a checkbox. It took HALF THE TIME.

PLEASE bring back the checkbox. As a designer that has been using your software---well, since it started--I consider your software to be essential to my work...but this has DOUBLED my work by having to click and click again to check off each comment. Totally an unecessary step. I don't care about 'CLEAN'. I care about USABILITY.

I agree that the check marks need to be fixed. In the meantime, I have just discovered that with InDesign CC 2019, you can import PDF comments into your InDesign file and accept them individually, at which point they are actually pasted into your InDesign text. There will be formatting and other issues to fix based on just how precisely your commenter used the tools, but this is WAY easier than clicking back and forth from the PDF to your InDesign document.

Still using v9 before Adobe messed up the comments last time... but you're all used to it by now. I CAN STILL DO THE FOLLOWING:
- select a comment with 'one click' and the text is selected 'straightaway'
- the comment doesn't 'jump away' from where you selected so you have to look a bit up the page to view it
- comments are viewable straightaway - I don't have to click 'comment' tab and wait an age for them to load
- Delete, replacement, and don't all look the same in the comment list
- I can use 'Next and Previous' buttons to go through the changes so I'm sure I don't miss one.All my other CS suite is up to date though I'm the only one in the studio thats held onto v9 acrobat Pro. I'm the only one that doesn't curse at acrobat!

I can't believe this was a deliberate change. It's made our feedback process so much slower and less accurate. Please, please bring it back. It's not 'more intuitive', and not 'cleaner' – it's a tiny check box which hardly complicates the layout.

Hi ,
In the latest update of Acrobat DC, we have tried to modernize the commenting experience and at the same time, made it very clean and intuitive to use. As part of that, the checkbox is moved to the right click menu of the comment.Open comment>Right Click>Add Checkmark
Please also note that both the sort and filter options are available for the check mark.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and will consider adding the check mark by default for future updates of Acrobat DC.However there is a workaround to add a checkmark in one step by using the shortcut SHIFT + K . Hope that helps for now.

Hiding the check mark adds more clicks to using Acrobat DC - while you may think hiding it makes it clean, for the user it is simply annoying. Three clicks to add a check mark whereas prior to this it was one. How on earth is that progress?

Not having the check box makes using comments in Acrobat much less attractive and much less efficient. Please bring it back.

I was able to revert back to Acrobat 2017. Solved my issue. There is a link in the thread.

Yes, I came here today to say this exact thing. There used to be a checkbox. Now there's not. It's twice the clicks and twice the time. When I've got 100+ comments/edits to review and address, that extra time adds up.

Please add back the check box! Why remove it? Very frustrating.

Bluebeam Revu has the checkbox easily accessible and I've switched to Revu for all my PDF commenting needs.

Everyone agrees it should be brought back.
Bluebeam Revu has the checkbox prominently displayed and easy to access.
