  2. When adding a sticky note to a document, it faces the wrong way. I wish there was a way to rotate it so the talk bubble faces in the direction of the text, as well as resizing it, or at least, allow it to scale with the text. If I resize the document, the icon doesn't appear to stay locked. I've use the arrow on the bottom but would prefer the talk bubble.

Is there a way to adjust the orientation of these icons?

    Thanks

  3. what happened to the old mark up tools? highlight text with note, delete text (red line through), etc??
I used those extensively previously, and this new version is pretty useless without them

Hi, Thanks for reaching out to us.
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
Can you use Strikethrough text or Add Note to replace text to create the red line through .
If you have any specific requirement of a new annot , please let us know the exact use case for the same .
If the use case is not met by existing annots, we shall add this requirement to our product backlog.

  4. Comments and highlights should look color coded regardless of how they are sorted out... all in the same color looks elegant and everything but it was MUCH easier to read comments in past versions of Acrobat when they were shown with their color

  6. My copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2019.008.20080 is constantly crashing when deleting comments. Since Adobe removed the tick box from the commenting feature, which was easily the worst UI/UX decision in recent history, I have resorted to deleting comments in order to be able to go through documents with hundreds of markups.

However, the current version fo Acrobat pro DC can only handle a couple of comment deletions in a row, and literally crashes after every 5 to 10 comments.

So if I have a document with 700+ comments, you can imagine my frustration and the amount of crashing.…

  7. On a Mac in Default Mode, it should be possible to copy highlighted text by using the keyboard shortcut.

Now, all you can do is select the highlighted parts and right-click -> Copy Text. Why shouldn't it be possible to select the highlighted parts and press Cmd+C?

Doing the extra clicking work is very labor intensive when working with a lot of previously highlighted paragraphs.

    1. Comment markups randomly disappear from the screen, sometimes when zooming in and out, sometimes when scrolling. Sometimes they all disappear, sometimes just part of a page. Zooming or scrolling does not fix the problem. They will not draw correctly until I hide Acrobat, then making it the active application again, sometimes I have to quit the application and restart to solve the problem.
    2. Acrobat Pro DC 2019, Mac

I need to use a split screen, half InDesign, half Acrobat, when I'm running corrections. That does not leave real estate for the giant comment sidebar in Acrobat, so I need to…

  9. You used to be able to click on Draw Line and it would remain on until you clicked it off. Please bring this back. It is a pain to keep having to clicking every time you draw a line.

  10. Draw tool properties cycle is not purely fixed, when using keyboard shift+d, Cloud Tool Properties appears in one cycle, and not the next one, as in if I started out with Arrow Tool Properties, if pressing shift+d 8 times doesn't lead to Cloud Tool Properties, the next cycling through drawing tool properties Cloud Tool Properties would show up upon pressing shift+d 8 times, and then the next cycle Cloud Tool Properties would not show up, and the next cycle it would show up again.

  12. Saving simple comments (text box, etc.) to pdf files increases the file size 1+ MB. Chat Support checked into this for a couple hours and could only verify this was happening. Please fix this bug ASAP.

  13. When I try to filter comments on a PDF Acrobat freezes and i have to force quit the program. The size of the file and the number of comments are not factors, acrobat crashes every time. I"m MacOS Sierra 10.12.6.

  15. Please make the pop-up open without text. If I want them to replace the text, why would that text come into the comment pop-up? Please, change all the highlighted and replace text pop-ups so they have not copy in them.

  16. When I insert or replace or add, I want it to say in the Comments box that this particular task is being done, as it used to. When I have deleted something, nothing at all appears in the box except an ambiguous icon. How is the person reading the comment supposed to know what was done?

  17. Since the latest update (running Adobe Acrobat Pro V2019.008.20074) adding comments (drawing lines, connected lines or rectangles) randomly causes the comment dialog box to appear for those markups. This was not a problem before the update. Upon opening the document, several dialog "bubbles" appear on the side of the document. They disappear as soon as one opens the comment pane. This is clearly a bug. Windows 7 Enterprise SP1.
Expected result: no dialog box, just display comments created.
Observed result: random dialog boxes are added, even though not added by user.

  18. The new version has reduced rather than increased my functionality. I can no longer draw red boxes around particularly important passages.

  19. Each new release you make takes away from my productivity!

    1. The new version of Acrobat Pro shows the right col. Comment list by name of commenter, but I need to see the entire list of the marked comments/changes. This function seems to have disappeared with the recent release. The comment col. as a scroll list view showing all corrections/changes is also a great checklist to make sure all client and manager changes have been made. I review and proofread many, many PDFs each day and it's very frustrating to have to open each comment one-by-one.
    2. Each opened comment…
