  1. Redact functions triples file size

    I need to do a simple redaction on a file but it has ballooned in size just from adding redactions on a few pages, representing more than a 3x increase in its file size.

    This now makes it too large to send where I need to send it, considering the recipient's file size limits for anything being sent to them.

    What can I do to fix this!?

    This is a terribly URGENT issue that needs to be resolved immediately.

  2. Steuerelemente bei Video (Rich Media) funktionieren nicht

    Da mein Video in einer aus PowerPoint exportiertem PDF nicht abspielbar ist (mangels Flash-Support) habe ich das Video nachträglich über das "Rich-Media"-Werkzeug in das PDF eingefügt. So ist es zwar abspielbar aber bei den Steuerelementen lässt sich nichts einstellen. Ob ich dort "keine" oder "Alle Steuerelemente" auswähle ändert nichts an der Darstellung. Es werden keine Steuerelemente angezeigt. Auch das Feld mit der Farbauswahl lässt sich nicht anklicken. So kann man das Video im PDF mit einem Klick darauf zwar starten, aber nicht mehr anhalten oder erneut starten.

  3. Problem face while editing in PDF(Scanned), while editng in PDF it will automatically convert scanned tex to editable.

    It should not convert automatically. Firstly it should ask e.g. Do you want to convert the text into editable. Yes or No.

  4. Crashes on editing files - every time

    Every time I try to edit any pdf file Acrobat constantly crashes.
    The problem arised after last update of Acrobat Pro.

    Acrobar Pro Version 2018.011.20035
    Win10 Pro x64

    PDF editing in Acrobat environment is crucial for our workflow.

    Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update containing the fix for this issue is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

  6. BUG REPORT: Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 (2017 Release (Classic) | Version 2017.011.30078) crashes when I try to edit a PDF

    To reproduce the crash

    Open or create a PDF file

    Select Tools, Edit PDF to open the Edit menu

    Select the Edit icon

    Windows shows error:
    Adobe Acrobat 2017
    Adobe Acrobat 2017 has stopped working Windows can check online for a solution to the problem
    Check online for a solution and close the program
    Close the program

    I as using Window Server 2012 R2.

  7. Adobe Acrobat DC always crashes when editing in Windows 7

    Whenever I try and edit a PDF it crashes every single time. I have uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, ran fix the install, made sure protected view was off, made sure it was activated with Adobe distiller. I have tried everything on this page. I am running windows 7 on a brand new computer.

  8. Using Acrobat Pro DC and want a quicker way to recognize text from a scan... now 4 or 5 clicks. Perhaps it's me.

    Currently I have to push 4 or 5 buttons to get a scanned document to be text recognized. I'd like a one-button solution. Perhaps it exists. Using Acrobat Pro DC on a Mac.

  11. Selectively Flatten Watermarks

    When adding a watermark to a .pdf file in Acrobat 10, such as "For Draft Review", it would be nice to prevent another Acrobat user from removing the watermark while retaining the ability to still have operable links, such as the Table of Contents or figure references.
