  1. Zoom buttons :
1st - they used to be on the top and in view, now they are in the bottom right corner and you can't move them.
2nd - the buttons only move in increments of 25%, 100% is too big, 75% is too small. to have 85% i have to click on the 100 (not the % because if you just have 85, it doesn't work) every time I open a file.

this would not be bad if I was able to set my preferences to a particular %, but that only goes in 25% increments as well…

  2. Acrobat's export of PDF files in Arabic language to any Microsoft Office format does not properly handle right-to-left languages. I know numerous people have complained about this for a number of years and no action has been taken to solve this issue. The export feature is useless in the Arabic region if it does not support the conversion of PDF files in Arabic content.

  3. After exporting a pdf as images and combining the files. It won't save the combined file. When I hit "save" and choose a location it doesn't save and the save icon stays lit. This only happens with images I export from Acrobat. I can combined PDFs perfectly fine. I have Windows 11

  4. Acrobat Reader likes to auto-generate URLs and other links.
This is generally good for users, and they can turn it on or off.

However, there are times when distributing that clients don't want them. It is possible to change global settings, but it creates problems for bookmarks, internal links, and accessibility.

So, it would be great if there could be a feature to prevent the auto-generation of links in Acrobat, so only the ones that will exist are by design.

  10. Why is there always something not working properly in Adobe?

I want to export all pages in one PDF to ONE SINGLE IMAGE FILE, not a separate image for each **** page. Why is that so impossible to do? It is frustrating - my goodness.

  11. TLDR: expected result is that fonts will look the same in exported JPEG as they do in the PDF (when displayed 1:1). They currently don't.

When exporting to JPEG from PDF, even at max quality setting, embedded fonts have no smoothing/anti-aliasing applied when rasterized and look very choppy. Especially if exporting for web at 72ppi. Only way to mitigate (without fully resolving) this is to export at some absurdly high resolution (600+). We need not only resolution settings but dimension settings for JPEG export settings, and the embedded fonts need to be rasterized at that size and resolution / have…

  12. When exporting a PDF to an HTML, DOC or DOCX, ACROBAT DC and also ACROBAT 11 PRO, looses/converts the numbers at the beginning of the row which contains . and 000 (00).
For example, in word, the number 15.000 becomes a numbered list starting with "15.1" and in HTML becomes the same or disappears completely. This is a very frequent problem, in 100 pdf's 85 of them have this problem on multiple pages.
Considering that we work with ACROBAT PRO and DC with almost 10000 of pdf's monthly (from 2006) for us is a very serious problem that we have…

  13. Hi,
We use Adobe Reader Pro to convert PDFs to DOCX. However, there is a problem when we are trying to convert a PDF having some greek letters (please check the screen I have attached). For example, lowercase Greek Delta is being converted into uppercase Gamma. Is there any possibility to change this behaviour to the correct one?

    Regards

  14. The type and spacing are out of sorts - especially if a graph happens to be in the paper. You have to essential hand type in the data to make sure all data it's aligned properly. Often font changes, as does spacing. This just requires extra attention, and editing. Apart from that - great program!

  15. Flattener Preview should have a Preserve Text option so that even if Raster/Vector balance is set to 0, all text will remain as it was and fully selectable, while all artwork will be raster.

  19. Just fix the totally screwed up s pile you have made of my adobe files which I can no longer open, attach to emails or send to dropbox. I have one file which is large 10 MB but which was fine two years ago. it represents two months of a building design which I now require and which will not open. Same story with numerous other files as well. Thanks for nothing. I will spend a small fortune now paying a tech to sort this spile out. Your unrequested update a year or so ago totally f'd my adobe files…

  20. When combining multiple pdf documents, it's been found that if those documents were batch-converted from docx to pdf through Windows Explorer right-click 'Convert to PDF' option, combined as sub-sections/parts/chapters, then combined together again to generate a complete document, that the final compiled pdf document will generate numerous font glitches in specific font types.

While the first-stage pdf conversions & combine-as-pdf (step-1&2) appear normal, when the resulting pdfs are combined into a single pdf file (step-3), the font glitches occur. This may manifest of dropped letters, unexplained spacing, odd formatting, or otherwise unintelligible text. We noticed this in our section headers…
