  1. I suppose this is a new idea, because it's not really a bug. Here's the summation of my problem/idea:

I scan files to my email using our copy machine/scanner. I then open and combine these files into single binders using AA Pro DC. To do this, I use the "Create PDF" tool from the tools menu, and then, from the "Create a PDF from any format" menu that appears, I select the "Multiple Files" and "Combine Files" option. When I click on the "NEXT" box, I can then choose to "Add Open Files," which is the option I use most…

  2. I would like to see a feature added to Acrobat that would allow Acrobat to stamp the path (location) and name of the document which was created. I am attaching an example of a document created with a different program in which the feature is highlighted..

It would also be great if that stamp would adjust and change as the document is renamed, moved or received and saved by the receiving party.

  5. The current Adobe plugin for Outlook 2016 works very well when creating portfolios from a group of emails. I'm able to add as many emails as I want to a single portfolio and the ability to append them when more emails come in is excellent. But these portfolios can only be added to from Outlook. It is important that I am able to add files to these Outlook portfolios without having to email them to myself first.

    Hi

Thanks for your request. But this is as designed behavior because non-email PDF files won’t have fields like To:, From:, etc. which will create inconsistency in the PDF Portfolio.
So the workaround would be to email those files and convert/append to portfolios.

    Thanks
    Tanvi

  6. Add format support for Dassault CATIA V5 past R18 (CATPRODUCT, CATPART)

  7. Just to expand the thought above. Many people are online searching for ways to do this. I was told in an Adobe chat that it was not possible. You all are brilliant -- can't you make it possible?

  8. When adding a PDF Portfolio to a file list (Combine Files) I get the following informational dialog box,

"File [File name] is a PDF Portfolio that contains multiple files. The files with the PDF Portfolio have been added to the file list." It requires that you click OK, before the files will be added and you can continue.

I wish to disable this dialog box as I am archiving thousands of files a day.

    Hi

You can achieve this by converting the PowerPoint presentation from Acrobat via Tools > Create PDF workflow.
Please ensure that checkbox to Use Acrobat Cloud service is checked while selecting the file.

    Thanks
    Tanvi

  10. Title says it really. It's simply that there a lot of 'make your own flip books' softwares out there, but they are not well designed and expensive, when this feels like it is a sensible add on to what one can already do with Adobe PDF pro. It's annoying to have to go elsewhere for pdf expertise, as I feel Adobe should be able to smash this themselves.

  11. Simply format support for OpenOffice formats used by OpenOffice and LibreOffice.

This is vital for those that prefer those formats over Microsoft Office formats. While they aren't as fully featured or useful in some cases they are free and open source making them a great alternative to the closed source formats of their Microsoft counterparts. Plus my book features some of these formats and i'm too lazy to convert them over...

  12. When attempting to combine a MS Word document containing more than one section using Combine Files in Acrobat, the first page is shown for all pages in the preview when the document is expanded. The first section is a one page cover page. This issue has been in Acrobat for well over a year.

  13. Acrobat needs an append option... or the ability to print multiple docs to a Portfolio.
All of the competitors have an option to print multiple files and add to single document. Acrobat even allows you to append scans to exiting pdfs. Why is there no option that does not require you to save multiple pdfs and then combine them. Seems easy enough... but when you have users refusing to switch platforms because they email statements to customers all day, the added steps of saving and combining documents would literally add hours a day to their workflow, You are not going…
