  1. Hello,

For certain documents, the "Save as Adobe PDF" option within Word 2016 is not usable. The all of the export steps appear to complete, and the resulting PDF file flickers on-screen and then closes. No file is actually saved.

I have confirmed this an issue with the following:

    Microsoft Office 2016 Version 1803 (Build 9126.2275 Click-to-Run)

    Adobe Acrobat 2015 Standard (15.006.304488)

  2. There is a currently unidentified issue in our organization that is preventing the Adobe Acrobat 2017 PDFMaker Office 2016 add-in from functioning in any office product.
The add-in shows up in the "Inactive add-ins" tab in the office options. When you try to reactivate the add-in, it fails, give the following error: "Load behavior: Not Loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in". If you delete, and then attempt to reinstall the add-in, the installation will fail giving this next error:" "C:\Program Files(x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 2017\PDFMaker\Office\x64\PDFMOfficeAddin.dll" is not a valid Office Add-in." We have done complete Uninstall/Reinstall's of…

  3. I specifically said "do not open document after creation" so, while it doesn't open the specific document, it just opens Acrobat DC with all my most recent documents. Way to shove it down my throat.

  5. This is a Bug Report
    Hi,
We are having multiple people at our organization having issues with the "Combine PDF" function when using Acrobat DC. When they combine anything (pdfs only, a mix of pdf and docx, pptx, etc) they will get the new document, but certain pages will be blanked out with all the original text deleted. All they get is the background image if there is one, but no text will remain. This seems to be a random occurance as it affects different files and different pages within these files.

As this is random, I cannot provide a…

  6. Combine files feature in Acrobat Pro 2017 is terrible. The old version was much easier to use (especially to put the files in a certain order - which is kind of important). Leave it to your company to make your software worse.

  7. Windows Server 2012
    Adobe Acrobat Standard DC

When we use Windows File explorer to Combine files we are not able to get it to work If you do not have Adobe Acrobat DC Open.

    Steps we take

    1. Select multiple documents using Control + Click in File Explorer.
    2. Right click then select Combine files in Acrobat
    3. Adobe acrobat opens to a Welcome Screen of sorts. There is no way here to combine the files.

If we have Adobe Acrobat DC open then it brings you to the Combine files window as it should.

First image is how it looks if you…

    Hi

We checked at our end and found that this is a Microsoft Office issue. If you create a PDF by doing Save As > PDF in Microsoft Office, even then this bug happens.
Please reach out to Microsoft for this problem.

    Thanks
    Tanvi

  19. Acrobat DC's, File>Create>Combine files into a single pdf, will stop working and I will have to quit and re-open Acrobat DC. It will work for a little while and then stop working. I will go to File>Create>Combine files into a single pdf within Acrobat DC, and when I choose two .pdf files to combine the preview will not show for the two files being combined, so I exit the window. Then try to go to File>Create>Combine files into a single pdf again and it plain just doesn't do anything, so it stopped working. A quit and re-open of Acrobat DC…

  20. When I create a PDF from a Word 2008 for Mac file, the hyperlinks to urls carry over, but not the ScreenTips (designed for human use, not machine use) to tell the reader what the link is to.

I thought this feature was available based on this document: http://www.ned.uscourts.gov/internetDocs/cmecf/hyperlinking_attorneys_word.pdf (at page 32)
