  3. Acrobat Pro X
Whenever I try Help/Check for Updates ... I get a message back that "Cannot connect to Adobe update server. Please verify that you are connected to the Internet and check for updates again." Obviously, I am on the Internet to make this post. What do I do?

  4. I just installed Acrobat Pro DC and the it keeps shutting down after running only 10-20 seconds. I can occasionally open a file quickly enough, but after opening file, Pro DC then shuts down. Went through Adobe troubleshooting (checked updates, Distiller, repair installation), but problem persists. Note that I did NOT set Pro DC as my default program for PDF files. My original Acrobat Pro XI is running fine.

  5. While installing Photoshop and Lightroom today, the installation screen showed that I had an existing install of Acrobat DC. I've never heard of Acrobat DC... so I assumed it must be part of the Acrobat system - and I elected to update the installation by pressing the "update" button. Unbeknownst to me, it uninstalled my Acrobat Pro XI and installed a trial version of Acrobat DC. I called the Support Line and waited AN HOUR AND A HALF to speak to a tech support representative to find out how to revert back to my Pro XI. By the time I…

  6. I purchased the Adobe PDF Pack in August 2018 but now, each time I try to convert a file, I get a message saying that my trial has expired and I must buy to continue. Please tell me how to fix this or return the money I paid. Thank you.

  8. My concern is with the new Adobe policy of license-based software. I was extremely frustrated when I was out-of-the-blue prompted to log in to Adobe just to open a pdf. My saved log-in did not work, and I was unable to open my flight document, which was a big problem for me in the moment. I have now solved that problem (by switching pdf viewers, to Preview). However, the root of my dissatisfaction is with the Adobe licensing system. I am a paid subscriber, and this system is not working for me. I absolutely do not want to be told…

  9. I have purchased the full license for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I am requesting Adobe to create a way to always block Reader DC from ever downloading during scheduled updates. Reader DC always commandeers/overrides the default settings by file types and since I PAID for the full software product, I shouldn't have to reset my default program by file type literally every other day. Please change this. Please.

  10. I probably shouldn't have to, because I get an adobe package from my employer, but I paid $190 for a one year Acrobat Pro DC subscription on June 26, 2018. 5 months later, I'm getting a message that my subscription has expired.
    My order # is/ was: ADB034255491
Either fix the problem or refund my money.

  11. Since "upgrading" to Mohave, I simply cannot get my Adobe Acrobat Professional to open. I get the spinning beach ball for several minutes (yes minutes). I then check Force Quit and invariably, Adobe Acrobat Professional is "not responding". Adobe says the two are compatible, but I do not think so.

  14. I'm getting errors when reading PDFs. All different sizes, all different sources.

"There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading this document (109)."

"A number is out of range."

"There was an error while reading a stream."

"Please wait while the document is being prepared for reading."

    "Out of memory."

It's a brand new Windows 10 machine with 8GB of RAM. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. How do I fix this issue? The program is essentially unusable at this point.

  15. I paid $190 (inc. tax) on June 26 for Acrobat Pro DC - yet every time I open Acrobat, there's a little circle in the lower left hand corner saying "subscription expired" with a "buy" button beneath it - I want to know I have what I paid for!

  16. Everytime I open an Adobe Product, this error appears "Your application install seems to be damaged, Please reinstall the application."

My trial is over and I have bought the product. I have the activation key but can't type it in anywhere. I also can't sign out because the option has gone.

  19. Unable to remove the Trial by any means. Unable to use Adobe for pdf now. No suggestion works and I will start looking for alternative software if it continues. My file shredder am worried it will remove 5 years of pdf Invoices. Never again will I try anything suggested by Adobe.
The Trial version did not do as it suggested so Merry Christmas, hijacked by Adobe

Apologies that we could not meet your requirements. If you could be more specific as to what you were trying and where you faced issues, it would be helpful and perhaps we could resolve the scenario for you.

However, if you want to remove Acrobat Trial, simply uninstall Adobe Acrobat software. After that if you open a PDF file, it will ask which software should take ownership of PDF files.

  20. (Not Responding) - Too common now. Miss the old days before the latest round of updates. Fast load. Now have to wait about a minute before working on a document while ? happens and ties up resources. Thanks
