  1. In my office we have user codes we use when printing. The code is saved into the print driver of each user. When printing from Adobe we are forced to click "properties" before every print, even if we don't need to make any setting changes. If you do not click properties, the user code embedded into the driver is not sent with the print job and it fails with an authentication error at the printer.   2. In previous versions, I could highlight text and the highlighting would print when the document was printed. Now it does not.

  4. I'm unable to print any pdf files from Acrobat DC to the local network printers. I receive errors: "the document could not be printed" and "an error occurred while printing the document". I am able to print to the printers from other programs. I've been able to print pdfs from Acrobat DC to printers in the past.

  5. When printing from Chrome on Windows with Adobe PDF and then trying to highlight it in Acrobat Pro there is some strange problems. IT marks much more than it should. Se added examples.
    AdobePDFchrome.pdf is printed with Adobe PDF and the Builtinchrome.pdf is printed with the built-in PDF in chrome.
    In both files I have highlighted only the text DC but only the Built-In for chrome shows it correctly?

    Hi Marko,

    Thank you for sharing this issue with us. We would like to know few more things :

    1. Is this issue happening every time you highlight a document printed by Adobe PDF?
    2. Is it working fine if we highlight any local PDF file?
    2. Have you tried updating Acrobat Pro and Chrome to the latest version?
    3. Please share the sample pdf files.

    We have tried but unable to reproduce it with the latest Chrome(71.0.3578.98) and Acrobat Pro (2019.010.20064).

  8. Acrobat is printing the square of however many copies I ask it to print. So, if I print 2 copies, Acrobat actually prints 4. If I print 4 copies, Acrobat prints 16, etc. I am running it on a Mac mini and my printer is an HP LaserJet Pro 400. I have tried turning off the computer & printer, with no success. It is still doing the same thing.

  9. I have CC full suite and from the day I had to install Adobe Acrobat Pro DC I have been unable to print locally from any open PDF. I have tried multiple fixes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I've updated the printer drivers and had my IT support look at it. And now that this program is embedded in everything, I can't event go back to Acrobat XI. If I'm lucky I can export the PDF as an image or word document and print from there, but if I'm looking at document that's large that is just simply…

I have spent the past few months troubleshooting with HP Technicians and have determined that there is a bug when trying to print double-sided documents in Acrobat Pro (DC) using a HP OfficeJet 8710 printer on a Mac. The documents print reverse meaning that for a 3-page document, pages 2 and 3 print double-sided on one sheet of paper while page 1, prints separately. This does not occur with any other HP printers

  11. I cannot print my bank statements. I keep getting grey window "Plug-in Failure". No way to figure it out. Something to do with webkit64...keychain access, blah blah... I click on always accept, nada... and nothing I have tried works...This sucks, because I can print other PDFs just fine, even tho that annoying pop-up window always appears...(see image attached). I am running mac SIERRA OS X 10.12.4

    Also If you could, please also attach the snapshots of printed documents with contains “codes at the top or bottom”.

  14. Cannot print single pages when in comparison mode; only prints the summary page. It would be helpful to print single pages so I have a record of what still needs to be fixed in my document, since you cannot save the newer doc version as a separate document with notes intact. At least I would have a hardcopy to refer to.

  15. I have recently upgraded my Mac operating system to Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.1. Since doing this, I am unable to use the Mac Finder in alphabetical order to drag and drop / file pdf's from Adobe Acrobat Pro onto my Mac flash storage (the folders are no longer in alphabetical order and are displayed in a random mixed order). The same applies when you print to pdf and then try and file on Finder.

    How files/folder are sorted in any finder window is solely the business of your operating system and not Actobat. Are you facing this just with Adobe PDFs?

  16. Distiller XI Pro 11.0.20 (28/03/2017), and many previous versions, crash “… /Font resourceforall”. Try the following code:

    %!PS

    crashes with:

    %%[ Error: invalidaccess; OffendingCommand: def ]%%

    without the “{…} stopped” construct it crashes with:

    and some non-ASCII characters.

    This problem started in about 2013, after an ‘upgrade’ to the Mac OS somehow altered something about fonts. Please could Distiller’s font handling be improved, even if only to honour ‘stopped’.

  17. I cannot print my certificates from Acrobat now. I have to move to word to print each page with a boarder. This started with the update. I print many certs a day and this takes far more time and changes the font. If it does not have a boarder I can print. This is frustrating and a waste of time. I did not have this problem before.

    Hi Tracy,

    Sorry for inconvenience caused, we have fixed few print issue in recent patch (19.008.20074). Please check your Acrobat is updated. You can update by opening the application (Acrobat/Reader) and going to Help > Check for Updates.
    If you still face the issue, please share few detail to narrow down the issue:
    1. What error are you getting while printing? Is some data is missing from Print output.
    2. What is the printer/Driver you are using?
    3. What kind of boarder does the file contain? If possible please share/send sample file on mrraj@adobe.com

  19. Just updated to the new version (19.008.20071) as of yesterday and noticed when printing a larger document (A4) and have it "Shrink Oversized Pages" to print onto a letter size paper, it will print as if correctly but cuts off the top "inch" of the actual printed text as if that was the end of the page, in which it can still print in that section, but the scaling down process is somehow bugged out.
