  3. I am using Acrobat DC. I have set up an action wizard to print all PDF's in a folder. The files in question are colour bank statements. When I run the action wizard in random instances at least 1 pdf in the batch will open but fail to display any of the text. All frames and some header/labels are visible but the contents of the statement is typically not visible. This then gets sent to the printer and before it's finished loading, Adobe closes the file and moves on to the next file in the folder. It's extremely frustrating! I…

  4. Original Issue

User printed document with over 100 pages and said it failed at page 43.

    Investigation

Determined user could print up to page 49, and after page 54. 50-54 were trouble pages. This range was created by InDesign then exported to Adobe PDF.

    Troubleshooting

Attempted to print to multiple printers from user's computer (multiple brands). Failed. Attempted to print from mine. Failed. Used my current version of Adobe DC Reader (18.009.20050). Failed. Reinstalled my DC (18.011.2003x) to get latest (auto updater would just hang at 0%) and tried again. Successful. Tried with Bluebeam Revu 2016. Successful.

    Current standing

  7. When a edited PDF file is printed it produces fined printed dots in the back ground. I scan up paper docs to a PDF file for editing and the pages I edit produce dots in back ground when printed while pages not edited have a normal white clean background on paper when printed. I cant attach a file to show this bec it only appears on hard copy printing.. I have never seen this fault even on editing Microsoft Word docs

  11. This started happening recently. I am trying to print a receipt from a purchase. Normally - just print to pdf and move on - but now I get an error when I try to print the whole receipt. All is well when I just print the first page.

I am using CC and have already attempted to remove and reinstall. Luckily most of the important information is on that first page

But still - way annoying. What is going on? Thanks for your help!

  13. Using Acrobat to print to PDF has issues when scaling the page automatically, however can do it manually. Issues have been documented here. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2368705

I would like to consider this a BUG.

    Hello users,
Can you please update here or reply to my email if you still facing any problem in printing? We will re-open the issue in that case. Please make sure you are using latest Acrobat/Reader DC.

    Thanks,
    Vishal

  15. Acrobat X Pro had this feature. Our company started to rely on it. Now that we've upgraded to Acrobat Pro DC, it is gone. It seems to me that we aren't the only company that ran into this problem. Could you kindly add this feature back in the next update to Acrobat Pro DC?

The feature for use of JDF in print workflows was removed in Acrobat XI Pro due to dramatic lack of interest and use by Acrobat users.
