  1. I cannot print my bank statements. I keep getting grey window "Plug-in Failure". No way to figure it out. Something to do with webkit64...keychain access, blah blah... I click on always accept, nada... and nothing I have tried works...This sucks, because I can print other PDFs just fine, even tho that annoying pop-up window always appears...(see image attached). I am running mac SIERRA OS X 10.12.4

  2. Cannot print single pages when in comparison mode; only prints the summary page. It would be helpful to print single pages so I have a record of what still needs to be fixed in my document, since you cannot save the newer doc version as a separate document with notes intact. At least I would have a hardcopy to refer to.

  3. I have recently upgraded my Mac operating system to Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.1. Since doing this, I am unable to use the Mac Finder in alphabetical order to drag and drop / file pdf's from Adobe Acrobat Pro onto my Mac flash storage (the folders are no longer in alphabetical order and are displayed in a random mixed order). The same applies when you print to pdf and then try and file on Finder.

    How files/folder are sorted in any finder window is solely the business of your operating system and not Actobat. Are you facing this just with Adobe PDFs?

  4. Distiller XI Pro 11.0.20 (28/03/2017), and many previous versions, crash “… /Font resourceforall”. Try the following code:

    %!PS
    (*) {

    crashes with:

    %%[ Error: invalidaccess; OffendingCommand: def ]%%

    without the “{…} stopped” construct it crashes with:

    and some non-ASCII characters.

    This problem started in about 2013, after an ‘upgrade’ to the Mac OS somehow altered something about fonts. Please could Distiller’s font handling be improved, even if only to honour ‘stopped’.

    I'd like to mention that for some reason, when I am on any app and I want to print as PDF, the quality of the file when I choose Microsoft Print to PDF is much better than when I choose Adobe PDF printer... That's very strange to me, given that as long as I know, you are the creators of this standard... Same thing happened when I had a mac. The built in PDF printer was much better than the Adobe one.   6. Computer OS: Windows 7 Pro
    Acrobat Version: Adobe Acrobat DC (18.011.20058)

    Whenever I try to print from Adobe Acrobat, it ask me to save a file as a .prn.

    So I go to the Advance Settings from the Print Window to uncheck "Print to File" option and then close the Advance Settings window. However if I try to print it will ask me to save the file as a .prn and when I click on the Advance again to go to the Advance Settings, the "Print to File" option is checked again.

  7. Hi Adobe,

    Shame this isn't a bug bounty or I could possibly get some pennies!

    In short, PDFs created in older versions of Adobe do not work with the most recent edition you guys have released.

    A client of ours was missing text when printing, after months of painful driver changes etc, we had found a resolution.

    Any user that creates a PDF in older Adobe software, will not be able to have a colleague print all text/docs/stamps/markups/borders/lines on a PDF within Acrobat. Only downgrading the user to an older unsecure, unsupport Adobe product works.

    2. Adobe Acrobat DC version
    3. What error is shown to you on printing to PDF or downloading PDF?
    4. Is this issue happening with any other document such as Doc/txt/xls?

  11. WHen printing with Adobe Acrobat DC and the network printers are PCL6, the printing is SUPER SLOW. Can we please get some compatibility with PCL6 drivers for printers?

    Hi Toda,

    You can use “Create Multiple Files” option in Create PDF Tool in Acrobat for creating individual PDF for each file in a folder.

    Follow these steps:
    1. Make sure you have latest version of Acrobat
    2. Click on “Tools” tab
    3. Click on “Create PDF” icon. It’s usually the first one.
    4. Select “Multiple Files” and check “Create Multiple PDF Files”
    5. Click “Next”
    6. Click on “Add Files” drop down and select “Add Folder”
    7. Browse to your input files and Click “OK”
    8. Select destination folder and Click “OK”

  13. Every pdf document I send to my MFD (Canon) does not automatically print. It sends a message to pick paper size because it's a custom size. However, it is NEVER a custom size, it's always 8-1/2 x 11. All the settings in my document say to print to 8-1/2 x 11, I've tried shrink and fit and still, I keep getting the message at the printer and have to choose 8-1/2 x 11. Really annoying.

  14. Currently have Adobe Acrobat installed on my university machine and am using Word 2013 to compile my thesis chapters and figures (.emf and .png files). However when I either use the ‘create pdf’ ribbon option using press quality settings (adjusted to a4 paper size) I end up with a .pdf with 8.5 x 11 in size. This happens also when printing via Adobe PDF option through word.

  15. Virtual Printer for Mac
    So you can print customised page sizes A1 A2 etc from all software
    Used to be a feature but has been removed.
    is still a feature on PC.
    Other apps are available such as PDF Printer from the App Store that do this.

    Need to either have Adobe PDF appear as a printer, or be able to adjust settings under the create pdf button, before it creates the pdf.

    currently you can only create a pdf that matches the same size as the document. so you can't print an A4 document onto an A3, A2, A1…

  16. According to the documentation provided by Adobe and Brother the printer should be able to switch trays and print the image on the correct size paper. The tray switching works but despite numerous hours on the phone with Apple and Brother the document prints as if it's on letter when it should be on legal. I've followed the directions provided by Adobe but the documents do not print correctly,

  17. After installing a printer while Adobe Acrobat and/or Reader is already open and has a PDF open, attempting to print to it prints to a different printer, even though the new printer appears in the list. Acrobat/Reader must be closed and reopened in order to print to the new printer.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Open Acrobat or Reader.
    2) Open a PDF
    3) Install a new printer
    4) Attempt to print the PDF to the newly installed printer (it appears in the list of printers)
    5) The PDF prints to a different printer.

    Environment: Windows 7 64-bit. Acrobat version 11…
