  1. The Page Size on a PDF is 10.00 x 7.5 in but I am trying to print to 11 x 8.5 in. The printer is requesting 16k paper which I don't have. When I click ignore then it cuts off part of the document.

  2. I would like to be able to select all open docs for printing and have them print separately.
The workaround is to combine the docs, but when printing two-sided, the documents end up with page one of one section on the back of the last page of another section. I need these to print out as individual sections.
Instead of having to combine, please create this as a print option - "print all open docs."

  3. Either allow print settings to be included in the Quick Tools at the top, or move "Print Current View" as a choice under Pages to Print without having to go to More Options first. I spend a lot of time printing details from PDFs and it takes three extra steps, each time. Also, Print Current View doesn't quite match with the display on the print settings.

  4. As the world continues to use PDFs for EVERYthing, it is so so important that people are aware of Overprint Preview. However, most people don't know it even exists in their page display preferenc. If you don't have this turned on things that are set to overprint will show as if they are not overprinting (mostly on the customer's end). Because the default of Acrobat is not to have Overprint Preview turned on, customers don't realize the problem. In the printing industry this is one of the biggest stumbling stones (boulders) we come across. That and fonts, of course.

  5. I created a PDF from Illustrator and I opened the file. It gave me this error message: "Cannot extract the embedded font [font name]. Some characters may not display or print correctly."

    Hi

    Can you share following details:

Which version of Acrobat/Reader are you using?
Which printer and what printer settings?
    Steps for printing the file?

Can you share a test file with us via Document Cloud or Dropbox link?

    Thanks
    Tanvi

  9. I cannot print my certificates from Acrobat now. I have to move to word to print each page with a boarder. This started with the update. I print many certs a day and this takes far more time and changes the font. If it does not have a boarder I can print. This is frustrating and a waste of time. I did not have this problem before.

  11. Just updated to the new version (19.008.20071) as of yesterday and noticed when printing a larger document (A4) and have it "Shrink Oversized Pages" to print onto a letter size paper, it will print as if correctly but cuts off the top "inch" of the actual printed text as if that was the end of the page, in which it can still print in that section, but the scaling down process is somehow bugged out.

  14. When printing from Chrome on Windows with Adobe PDF and then trying to highlight it in Acrobat Pro there is some strange problems. IT marks much more than it should. Se added examples.
AdobePDFchrome.pdf is printed with Adobe PDF and the Builtinchrome.pdf is printed with the built-in PDF in chrome.
In both files I have highlighted only the text DC but only the Built-In for chrome shows it correctly?

Data: Chrome Version 68.0.3440.106 (Officiell version) (64 bit)
    Acrobat Pro DC 2018-011-20058

    Hi Marko,

Thank you for sharing this issue with us. We would like to know few more things :

    1. Is this issue happening every time you highlight a document printed by Adobe PDF?
    2. Is it working fine if we highlight any local PDF file?
    2. Have you tried updating Acrobat Pro and Chrome to the latest version?
    3. Please share the sample pdf files.

We have tried but unable to reproduce it with the latest Chrome(71.0.3578.98) and Acrobat Pro (2019.010.20064).

    Thanks,
    Swapnil Srivastava

  15. Refuses to print to pdf. Also states cannot find license, though the adobe apps work fine.

  16. Acrobat is printing the square of however many copies I ask it to print. So, if I print 2 copies, Acrobat actually prints 4. If I print 4 copies, Acrobat prints 16, etc. I am running it on a Mac mini and my printer is an HP LaserJet Pro 400. I have tried turning off the computer & printer, with no success. It is still doing the same thing.

I click on always accept, nada... and nothing I have tried works...This sucks, because I can print other PDFs just fine, even tho that annoying pop-up window always appears...(see image attached). I am running mac SIERRA OS X 10.12.4

  20. I print hundreds of pages every month from a single PDF file, but I print some two-sided and the others one-sided. For example, I print pages 3,4,6,7,10-14,20,21,25-30. Today, I accidentally typed "118-12" instead of 120. But Acrobat just prints something. I'm not sure what because I cancelled the print job.

Acrobat should analyze the page sequence and warn if it's out of order. I wouldn't want it warn me on the first example because it still makes sense, but if I print that sequence and then "32-3", it should stop, especially since it doesn't even make sense to print pages…
