In Acrobat IX I could create a digital signature field where the user, when getting the form and entering their pertinent information, could simply click on the field to digitally sign the form using their certificates from the employee badge. Did this option disappear entirely now? I don't want customers to have to select window, preferences, signatures and draw a rectangle to sign the form. Allow users to set up a block so the customer just needs to click the field and select their stored credential to sign the form. This is a MUST have option.

    User has been guided to add certificate based digital signatures

  2. Why do i have to keep signing in to use it. Why does it continually crash? Why has it stuffed my computer so that it runs at a snail pace?. You really have over engineered, over done the security, and over complicated this product. I will never use Adobe products again!!!!!

  4. Several of our clients who use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC have complained of issues printing PDF's. After troubleshooting the issue we found the cause to be the Enhanced Security option located in Security (Enhanced) in the Preferences. If this option is enabled, disabling it allows our staff to print. We even came to a point where we had to enable it and then disable it to fix printing. This issue seems to have started several weeks ago.

    OS affected:
    Windows 10 Pro
    Windows 7 Pro

    Dear user,

    Please launch the file in Acrobat /Reader. Press CTRL+D and check Security tab in Document properties.
    Please check the Document Restrictions Summary to see the list of actions permitted.
    Please could you share a screenshot of the same.

  6. So i click on "remove restrictions on this document" and then it asks for a password. Me no HAVE a password, WHAT password? wtf are you talking about? WHERE do i find this golden password that i've never created? wtf am I paying for this for

  7. Whenever a digital signature field is added, we do not get the option to duplicate it. This would be very helpful in cases where same person has to sign on multiple pages in a document.
    At present, it is giving the option to duplicate across pages, however, it is not working nor it is giving any error message.
    Please include this feature in Acrobat, or grey out the duplicate across pages option.

  8. Acrobat DC Pro hides the 'digital signature' field unless you follow a very convoluted series of steps to find it. Recommend ALWAYS having the digital signature option available. Also, recommend disambiguating between 'signature' 'initial' and 'digital signature' fields. Conceptually very similar. Functionally very different.

    To use Digital Signature on Acrobat/Reader, if you have a signature field present on the pdf, you still can click on the document field and it would initiate the digital signature workflow. This functionality is still present in Acrobat DC. If you want to draw a signature on the pdf outside a signature box, please go to Tools—Certificates—Digitally Sign. That would enable you to draw a box on the pdf for the signature.

  9. It would be good to have some sort of solution/ patch/ workaround/ update to prevent Google DocHub from being able to edit locked forms. I've noticed that by dropping an adobe pdf into DocHub does a few things:
    1. Even if document password protected to prevent editing it is easily editable and doesnt seem to honor those security settings
    2. When document is locked after signing DocHub allows all the previously fillable fields to be edited while still retaining the original signature
    3. even if a fillable form is converted to flattened copy, once dropped into DocHub all the fillable…

  10. This is a bug report.
    I used Adobe Pro DC to encrypt documents for emailing to outside agencies among other things. Today, I discovered after sending a document to a co-worker for review, the default PDF reader on Windows allows access without the password required... simply by hitting the cancel options. I spoke with the Adobe Pro help line for an hour today and they asked me to write this report. The application used is called Windows reader, when opened you cannot print or edit but you can view the document without any obstacles, I was also able to take…

    Dear User,

    You can create a new policy template from Protect—Encrypt—Manage Security Policies—New (create the new security settings that you want to apply) and save it as a template.
    You will still need to open the files individually and apply the template on each file. But this would be an easier way around.

  12. When a page is spawned from a page template that contains a digital signature, the digital signature field does not retain the set "signed" action. (I.E. mark field as read only: all fields), or a script to be executed.

Please allow the digital signature options (and the comment, specifically the dynamic stamp (who came up with that unintuitive name and why??), options) to remain in the toolbar from document to document so I do not need to go through the same multi-step process over and over again when approving or signing a number of documents in a row. I see that you've noted that "streamline digital signing" below has been resolved - nope, it has not. In the attached I've shown the steps it takes to put a dynamic stamp on a PDF. Each. Time. Please fix. Thank you.

  14. Trying to find how to prepare a form using Add signature (adding fields before sending) and then sending for signature (in that order), but when I pull up Prepare form, there is only an icon for adding digital signature, but not the icon for Add digital signature tool.

  15. It would be great that Adobe DC has more options, like choose between changes allowed:
    - Highlight or not the texts
    - Add or not the sticky notes
    - etc...

    Because the options are limited and it's impossible to share information without have a security of your documents.
    I will appreciate that you give us more options.

  17. The sign in screen is preventing me from accessing the program by popping up over and over, even after I enter my username and password. It might get to the "Check out the new Acrobat Reader DC" and a button that says "Start Tour" that pops up and it will not go away or do anything else. What is the fix for this? I have many important documents in the cloud. Thanks.

  18. There does not appear to be a way to hide the new "To do" signature requests section at the top of the newly redesigned Recent window. Please allow us to hide this section as it's in the way and annoying.

  19. REMOVE DIGITAL SIGNATURE - CAPABILITY

    I can't delete a digital signature that I created with incorrect information.

    This is a problem because it continues to pop up among the list of signatures to choose from and could cause people to make signature mistakes.
