  1. I have spent way too much time trying to find tools I use all the time. There is nothing intuitive about the new interface. I reverted back to the old version and I'm happily finding and using the tools I need.

  2. Please make it easier to disable settings permanently. Incuding AI pop ups.
Also the tools menu automatically pops up on the left of the screen. And now bookmarks show up on the right. Both obscuring the document.
I have to manually close them both to view my document. Fine if you are only viewing one document, but really annoying when viewing several. I can't find the options to get rid of them completely. Please make these settings easy to find and use.

  3. I have Adobe Pro. It won't open multiple .pdf documents on different screens. I have 4 x monitors, run a business and need to open different documents, including different .pdf documents on different screens at the same time.

I contacted your help desk and spoke with Shr who advised that the Open Documents as New Tabs in Different Windows is no longer available in Adobe Pro, and if I disable New Acrobat, it disables the Open Documents as New Tabs in Different Windows feature in Adobe Pro. REALLY!!.

Try opening 4 x .pdf documents on one screen and copy and…

  4. Put it back the way it was. Changing the way it looks does not help and makes it harder to use. I am wasting my time looking for stuff. This new interface sucks.

  5. Create a persistent store for the Page Resize and Scrolling options - Just leave them in the same state they were when the app was last closed or provide a tab in the Preferences dialog where they can be set.

  6. Opens slow, runs slow, locks up... Maybe if you added an option to turn off the constant, unwanted, intelligence insulting pop ups, Adobe could function properly.

  7. Bring back the interface where all tools are at the top. In the latest interface various functions are spread out amoung the upper left corner, the top right corner, the bottom left corner, and then some more in the menu bar at the top. Um, who thought this was a good idea?

  9. My Idea is this: stop wasting precious developer time fixing things that AREN'T BROKEN! Geez, who wants to learn an all-new interface in in order to do the same work they've always done? Geez, you people have lost touch with reality. Software is supposed to support the users, making their productivity higher, and easier. Changfing interfaces does not do that Thank God someone was smart enough to include a Disable option! But you should have saved your energy for something important. Because all that time and effort making a less useable interface for me was a complete waste. Blind users…

  11. Add dynamic zoom to the toolbar options, menu or at very least the sidebar for the new UI.

  12. I HATE IT!!! You took away the things I use MULTIPLE TIMES EVERY SINGLE DAY that I had in a quick access toolbar.
I do NOT need AI, I do NOT need a "summary", I need to convert documents to PDF and make them accessible. I'm back to 37 steps to even start now?????

EVERYTHING is moved. Why? Because you hate us and don't want people to use your product? If I learn the new locations, how long until you move everything again?

I cannot describe how much I hate this. I'll encourage my company to look for a PDF…

  13. The new layout is so different than the old that it is hampering my productivity. I thought Adobe was supposed to help users, not take away all the features that I need to see immediately when I open a PDF.
Specifically, I need page numbers and the page up and down arrows front and center. I still don't know how to find those. I need to see at a glance if I have time to read a 5 page or 105 page document.
Don't hamper users. Make it easy again.
Allow users -- and tell us how to do this

  14. I loved Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2022.003.20282. I detest version 2024.001.20604. The old tools were far more user friendly and reliable. The new tools are clumsy, the new version keeps pushing the AI tools that I don't want, the new version tries to default to file protection which prohibits me from highlighting text. Speaking of highlighting, the old version let me highlight text with one click, the new version makes me click multiple times and then forgets my choice, wasting time and effort.

  15. The AI Assistant is not something I am interested in. The button for it appears even though the feature is disabled and it is very easy to hit it, as it is right next to buttons I use all the time. I would like to make it go away, but that, I'm told by Adobe tech support, is impossible.

Having a feature that is still in beta and that is of no use to me brought to my attention so often is annoying. (It's the one colorful button in a corner of the screen where the USEFUL buttons are all…

  16. Please stop changing the Acrobat interface every year. It is very frustrating and time wasting to find the basic tools that I use to navigate documents. A basic thing like Marquee Zoom and other basic tools should be obvious and accessible, not buried in menus. I've wasted an hour this morning and whilst I can find the tool now, no idea how to add to standard tool bar. Stop doing this!!!!

  19. Nothing should be mandatory in terms of floating elements, and users should be allowed to customize placement of buttons on every toolbar including floating toolbars, and customize whether to display them always/as set by document, with traditional arrangements always available as default options.

  20. Visual designers managed to ruin a tool that was excellent and practical. The environment is now completely different, difficult to use, confusing, with no work flow. I would recommend a book to designers: Steve Krug's "Don't Make Me Think".
