  1. Whatever changes made up the most recent update has ruined my user experience. Every action I try to take encounters an error message. Please advise how I undo the most recent update to get back to some semblance of a useful tool.

  2. I can not find the hand tool with your newest update. Nor does it appear that I can type in a search for it. There is no icon in any of the bars. Nor does there appear any line in the preferences that addresses the hand tool. This seems like a very obvious oversight. Please address it immediately because reader is not nearly as useful without it.

  4. Every month when Acrobat pro is updated, my shortcut for Certificates is removed. Please retain these customizations during upgrades.

More - there are numerous recommendations for adding shortcuts for various tasks. Everyone believes their use case is generalized. Pro has a good shortcut interface, but it is critical that they be maintained once implemented. In my mind, this is a universal use case.

  5. The DISABLE NEW ACROBAT must be a big flashing buttton on the main start page if you ever do that again. My lawyer will sue. I nearly died. People depend on being able to do work WHEN they need to do it.

  6. The feature in Menu -> Preferences -> Documents -> "Remember the current state of Tools Pane" is broken since the last update. Users wanting only the "Adobe Acrobat Reader" functionality simply do not need the "All tools" pane! Closing it repeatedly manually significantly deteriorates our productivity. I am on version 2023.003.20284 64-bit using Windows 10. How come such features were not included in your Regression Testing?

  8. New floating quick toolbar to be stacked in the new acrobat experience
the new floating bar covers the document areas and it is very annoying. User should be given the option to be able to stack the bar up down right or left.

  11. Please provide an easy 1-click way to completely hide all extrenuous panes when opening any document. This means :

    • No bookmaarks on the right.
    • No tools on the left.

There are a mess of settings all over the place, and comments on previous related issues to multiple steps to take, but all these seem out of date. This should be a single 1-click check box in the main preferences, completely overriding all other settings.

Even better: Acrobat Reader should learn from the fact that I close these panes every single time I open the app (multiple times per day), and…

  12. Was there a reason for putting everything along all three sides and making it difficult to find the "settings" option? At least when everything was along the top and tools on one side, it was easy to use and I could find everything I needed quickly. This new format is frustrating.

  14. Two features essential to me are either gone or hidden so that I can't find them in the new version. They are important for me in my work as a translator.

    1. In the previous version, there was a "windows" tab at the top that enabled me to open a second copy of the same file and then drag it so that the two copies appeared as separate tabs in a single Acrobat window. This enabled me to jump back and forth between two pages in the same file, for example between the text page I'm working on and the relevant…

  15. The new pages organization tool is more difficult and less intuitive, and its “insert page” option in particular is much less useful than it used to be, please fix it.
The most important problem is with the "insert page" function alone. When you select "file" for "insert page" it no longer lets you add more than one file at once. I frequently use Acrobat to merge several PDFs into one PDF and now I have to add each file one by one, this is incredibly time consuming, tedious, and wholly unnecessary.
Another problem I have with the new method is…

The request is for ranges and range names to be accessible from Acrobat readers enabling users to create hyperlinks to named ranges.

  17. The new design is extremely buggy. Following are all the problems I am facing since the new update. As a paying consumer, this new update feels like something a child made...

    1. The application has become extremely laggy. (I never had this problem before the new update). I edit a simple text on the PDF, I have to wait a good minute or two for the text to change.

    2. When I copy Korean text from the pdf and try to paste it somewhere else, occasionally it distorts the Korean text into Chinese characters.

    3. I am seeing the "Not responding" sign more…

  18. I just saw the "new" adobe acrobat reader. Where did the page number that you are currently on go to? I use that all the time to skip to a certain page or just to see what page I am on so I can print a particular set of pages. That is a killer for the new version, I'm using the old version for now.

  19. I've updated from 32 to 64 bits Adobe acrobat Pro and the user interface experience is terrible:
    * I don't find anywhere the add textbox.
    * I don't see the number of pages nor the present page number
    * I cannot add a button to take snapshots and to take an snapshot I have to go to the text / tool search. I cannot find the option in the menus.

I miss a lot the 32 bits user interface. I loose a lot of time looking for commands that where easy to find in the 32 bits version.
