  1. The old version of Adobe was easy, you right click and put an icon for the program on the computer desktop. With this version there does not seem to be a way to do this. I have to go to the start program and hunt for Adobe in my list of apps.

  2. Along with being able to customise (personalise) the "Quick tools" and change an extraordinary amount of settings in the program preferences, the ability to save the layout of the 'workspace' so-to-say should be possible.
In particular, the 'Tools pane' and the 'Navigation pane' - show/hide setting should be persistent.
This assists with productivity, and User eXperience.

  3. Be able to go into preferences and specify the default folder for saving files, similar to the function in Word/Excel/PPT, etc.

  4. The banner (top of the frame) is too large, as is the Find box when you ctrl+F. When you try to fix this in the properties area, this area is also too large. I am assuming this is making an apply button run off of the visible area of the window. When i try to fix the resolution (from Auto-Detect, which I'm assuming is also part of the problem) to 100% it doesn't fix it when I close the window (which is why I assume there is an "apply" button that I cannot see or use - See Bottom of…

  5. I have been using adobe acrobat pro 9 for over 10 years, and recently I have to switch over to acrobat DC, and find it bizarre.

    1. First, the user interface has been completely redesign, not allowing one to switch back to the previous UI.
    2. Also, I find the number of key strokes needed to do a simple task, has greatly increase. I do a lot of cut-and-paste with my old acrobat, and it was convenient. With the new DC, after finally figure out how to do it, it involves a lot more key strokes. A regression!
    3. The…

  6. Please add the Pinning of Bookmarks/Pages on the left hand pannel to Adobe Professional DC (Classic).
We have end users who scan thousands of pages a day and find this to be an unacceptable waste of time.

  7. in the new versions of Adobe, the browse for folder function - to open or save a file - is useless. Contrast it to every other conventional windows application, looking more like Windows Explorer where you can easily navigate to a folder, subfolder, file - but in Adobe, it immediately requires scrolling down, then selecting, scrolling down more, selecting a subfolder, etc.

  9. I am using Adobe Acrobat on a Surface Pro 2. The scaling is horrible, with dialog boxes too big for the screen and options inaccessible. I gather the height of the Surface Screen is not within your specification. Please can you enhance the dialog boxex so they display fully on the screen. I also use Captivate and this is fine. Dialog boxes display properly.

  11. I can't see/figure out how to add the "sign pdf" icon into the main toolbar. Frustrating to click 3-4 times to just get that "tool" to show up.

  12. Option to keep page and bookmark navigation panes open. I use them everyday. Every single time I open/create a new pdf, I have to open panes. Haven't found a way to keep them open if it exists.

  13. Before upgrading Adobe Acrobat XI Pro I had a scroll bar on the right side of the File (Adobe old.jpg) screen. After update it disappears (Adobe file new.jpg) or is in the form (Adobe new1.jpg).

  14. Pretty self-explanatory. I work with a huge amount of documents and find myself selecting the 100% zoom a lot, which makes it easy to read the document. A quick button to allow this view would make life much easier.

  15. With version "8" I was able to drag and drop pages from one window to another. Very useful when making changes to large documents. Reprint one corrected page as a single PDF page then drag and drop it into the final document, then delete to old page. I will miss being able to use this technique. It was fast and direct.

  16. Acrobat DC makes you hunt through a menu and multiple clicks just to pull up each tool. And this is for each single PDF that is opened into the interface. Honestly this is just so bad. I want Acrobat to look exactly the same each time, with all my commenting and other tools lined up in menus on the right side. Every time, when I open any document, so that I can work.

  17. I am in Acrobat DC
    Architecture: x86_64
    Build: 17.9.20044.222436
    AGM: 4.30.69
    CoolType: 5.14.5
    JP2K: 1.2.2.38123

I am looking at a file from a vendor for approval. My manager sees a 16% cyan in the background of this file on two pages. She is in Acrobat Pro X.
I do not see this 16% cyan. It does not register in the Output Preview panel that there is any cyan on these pages. 0%. We are looking at the exact same PDF file.

  18. When I open a file and go into fullscreen (e.g. by clicking the green expand button in the corner) the screen changes as expected. Then if I switch screens and return back to my fullscreen view the screen is no longer filled with the application but instead I get the regular size and black bars on top and bottom.

  19. It's good for those of us who utilize Document Cloud and Creative Cloud to have the startup window with access to these files. However, if you close all of the PDFs you have open, this window is no where to be found unless you quit and restart the application (unless it's hiding somewhere in a menu, but why would that be?).

  20. My folder-level javascripts place icons on the toolbar using an iconstream. These exact scripts have worked in every version of Acrobat and Reader I have used for several years on both PC and Mac platforms.

In Acrobat DC, the icons behave erratically, sometimes rendering appropriately and sometimes only showing the red Lego-like shape icons rather than the true icon.

The scripts still function properly when invoked by clicking the Lego-like shape icons, but the lack of the scripts' appropriate icons decreases their effectiveness.

I have removed the folder-level scripts, restarted the system and Acrobat and then re-installed the scripts with…
