quick action toolbar covers edge of document
The new quick action tool bar floats over the document covering contents. the panning of the document is also limited to the edge of the "paper" so these contents cannot be seen without zooming far in or far out.
This could be overcome if the display allowed for a buffer space around the page so the view could be drug past the edge of the paper. This way the document could be drug out from under the quick action toolbar.

New Update Changes the File Name When Document Is Saved
After the new update took affect, any time I edit and then try to save a PDF, the file name ends up changed to something that's just a bunch of letters and numbers and it tells me that the document can't be saved under that file name. Really? No kidding? Because that's not the file name I was trying to save AT ALL! Why is the update causing this to happen? I mean, besides the fact that all of the functions have been moved and are backwards on the page since the update, this is the most aggravating part of…

The new Adobe PDF Viewer has the magnification pop-up covering the scroll bar
Not sure whose idea it was to do this, but it is incredibly annoying when you now have to wait for the magnification pop up to disappear to be able to access like 20% of the scroll bar. Just put it somewhere that people don't have to click like all the time.

Slow Acrobat improve usability
Acrobat new interface, sloooooow, laaggy, bad user experience and usersability design..... awful..... make the tool available and stick to the side for easy access...
I also keep on crashing... please revert to the last version.. at least that one was working properly... it's not the best but at least it's working.
Please do proper testing on your systems first before releasing them. You're wasting our money and our time.

Toolbar in the way
Please dock the toolbar to the side at all times. I do like the new toolbar, but it blocks text on the PDFs, meaning I have to take the time to pan and zoom and adjust just to read what it is blocking, it's just unnecessary. Just have it docked always. Also, I will say I'm not the biggest fan of how the thumbnails are shown, but that's a different and much less important issue. The new "floating" toolbar (that you cannot move) obstructs the documents and should just be docked to the side so you can see an unobstructed…

The new user interface isn't better than the existing one. I don't see a reason to combine the Select and Pan into one. Moving them to the side is counter intuitive. This is the desktop version where the large majority of programs have menu items across the top. Moving them to the side seems like a phone consideration.

Performance
Performance
Please improve performance overall on any platform. Wondershare PDFelement or Readdle PDFexpert are more or less overall much faster and work much more smoothly than your Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.
You have the more feature-rich product, but it is much slower against their tools.
Many thanks in advance.

Bug Report: New Acrobat UI does not allow "Hide Toolbars" setting in Windows
The new Acrobat UI does not follow the "Hide Toolbars" setting from "Document Properties" > "Initial View".
Acrobat Version: 2023.003.20269
Platform: Windows 11 22H2Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a PDF and then open the Document Properties dialog. Click on the "Initial View" tab, check the "Hide tool bars" option under "User Interface Options".
2. Save the PDF and then close it. With Acrobat using the new UI model, open the PDF a second time, the "All Tools" side bar is displayed. Expected behaviour: the All Tools toolbar should not be shown as per the User Interface Option settings.

Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC: What a miserable pathetic mess
Worst user interface in the world and ever.
Why the **** can't your filth software adhere to it when a PDF is supposed to open with the bookmarks pane?
Just go *** with this wretched muck, but read this before:

Empty left pane in new version
In the new version, there is an empty pane on the left side that I cannot collapse. This makes it difficult when editing and trying to reference another document in the same screen. Overall, I don't really care for the new version. Please make it less awkward, Adobe.

Unable to see the file name in tab, Missing File / Edit bar
I miss the benefits of having the dedicated menu bar at the top. This new UI is too compact and it is causing a loss of communication.
1 - It was difficult to find the preferences menu as it is tucked into a small all-in-one menu. The Preferences pane did not allow me to turn on the typical application bar at the top of the page (File, Edit/ ...). I would like to be able to opt into this again. Firefox let's me turn this on.
2 - The file names are constrained to the tabs. Even when a tab…

New Acrobat UI: customization for navigation commands and position of floating toolbar
Please allow more customization for: (1) navigation commands in the lower right panel. I would like to add previous and next view (2) positioning of the vertical floating bar (I am right-handed and it is more convenient to have it on the right side, for other it will be more convenient on the left, where it is right now)

Acrobat UI
At every major update, the Acrobat Pro UI is getting more and more confusing. None of the standard OS behaviors are respected. I tried to modify the toolbar on Mac (version 2023.0001), impossible to move an icon anywhere.

+ create
Request Adobe Acrobat Pro to provide users an option to not display the "+ Create" button/tab. Sometimes we as users just want a new tab to display and open files from our computer and not necessarily create/combine a PDF. I believe the create/combine PDF function is sparingly used and personally think it reduces productivity for users who have to hold the left click to "Open Files".
Please restore to previous interface with + opening list of files or poll users regarding preference.

measurements to 4 (or 5) decimal places
InDesign creates PDFs with measurements to 4 decimal places.
Acrobat rounds all measurements to 3 decimal places.
We make print-ready files with measurements up to 1/32nd of an inch (0.03125"). That's 5 decimal places.
Many of our print vendors insist we use 5 decimal places. (But they accept InDesign only goes to 4.)
The issue is we go to edit things like Trim size or page size in Acrobat, and all those measurements are rounded to 3 decimals.
North American book production uses Inches for units. Our prepress production staff are now in the process of converting everything to Points,…

Needs more internet bandwidth than Adobe Pro?
I work from home in a rural setting -- I have fast internet but not as fast as in a city.
Acrobat Pro always worked perfectly, fast and efficient. But Acrobat DC keeps stalling out, briefly showing one window layout (all buttons are dead) then flips to different window layout which eventually settles in and works.
This means every time I open a doc or switch between open docs, I have to wait for this stall-window flip-open which adds time and great frustration. Please fix this bug!

Improved Quick Tools toolbar and side panels.
Changes to the toolbar that would actually be useful — allow users to choose the positions of each button they want in the toolbar (preferably by drag & drop); give the option to show/hide labels for the buttons; provide for at least 2 rows of quick tools, and for small and large buttons. Allow the user to decide where the thumbnail and bookmark panes are positioned — left, right, or even below then document pane. I hope the new Acrobat Pro changes to these features are short-lived — they are going the wrong direction.
