  1. Opening and closing multiple files that are approximately 4 MB causes this to occur. It is almost as if DC feels that closed files are still open.

Virtual memory is dynamic and typically starts at 16 GB, RAM 16 GB. Online thoughts for fixes are unsuccessful. If not fixed by subscription end, I go back to Acrobat Pro XI. The features of DC are minimized when the software crashes so often.

  3. I would like, if I have a file open with, for example, the Comment toolbar opened, I would like other files opened in the same window to also open with the Comment toolbar open.

This does not need to be set as a default when loading the first file, nor does it need to override the toolbar setting in each tab when I change tools; just when I open a new file, I don't want to have to reopen the same tool I'm using in the tab I already have open.

  4. Scrolling creates lines so I can't see the content. I have to click on the mouse after scrolling a tiny bit before I can see the content. So inefficient.

  6. This isn't a new idea. I need to be able to choose a default location to save files. Sometimes my files will auto save in .content folder of Outlook Microsoft.

  7. It would be GREAT if your reading view would allow a highlighted line that could move as you are reading down the page. When reading a very long document it is very straining on the eyes and to be able to focus on the specific line you are readying would be very helpful. Thanks

  8. This version makes it difficult to find the tools I need to work with. It has basically shut me down. This is a business and your product should help my efficiency. Now it is easier to do the edits by hand and scan in. Where is the edit bubble to highlight an area for discussion? The shapes? The text boxes are harder to use. Why can't I locate them where I want to?

  11. I am a registered user/owner of Acrobat Pro DC – 2015 Release (Classic) Version 2015.006.30418

    Adobe Case Number ADB-2045549-L4R2

I would very much like to be able to adjust the gap or spacing between images or pages in a multi-page PDF document such that one image does not follow on so closely to the proceeding image.

Single page view does not work for PDF files viewed in browsers so scrolling pages are always closely grouped together. Please enable this capability.

This pdf file shows what I want to be able to do: http://tinyurl.com/y9we7btt

Thank you, Phil Saunders – May 17,…

  15. Bookmarks are wrapped incorrectly when resizing the bookmarks pane.
    Expected behaviour:
Reducing the bookmarks pane's width should wrap bookmarks which are too long.
    Actual behaviour:
Bookmarks are wrapped in two steps as the pane is being resized.
Firstly, a new line is created, but the bookmark text is not wrapped around.
Then, if you reduce the width even further, the actual wrap is done.

  16. Acrobat Pro used to be one of my favourite apps. Now it is slow and unwieldy. It grinds on RAM. I absolutely hate the new user interface. I loved it 1x version back. With all the unnecessary additions this behemoth is an ugly horrendous brute. Please just bring the last interface back!!!

  17. I want PDFs to open in "Two-Up, Fit Page" by default, except when there's only 1 page in the doc, in which I want the single page to appear centered instead of on the far left and zoomed to fit a non-existent 2nd page. There should be an option for this.

  18. It would be great if Adobe Acrobat Pro DC has a Force Quit button that could be accessed when it frequently crashes on a Mac. This would save me lots of time either:

    • going into the apple menu and selecting Force Quit and then selecting Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and all of the options and then restarting Acrobat; OR

    • creating a script to kill Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and then restart it.

The other option is to stop Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from crashing on a Mac.

  19. We ABSOLUTELY need the option to have Adobe Pro automatically open with Thumbnails visible. Power users here - we all need thumbnails upon arrival. People who actually work on Adobe all need this option. Listen -- Adobe Pro users are not "readers". We are power users who manipulate documents - that's why we bought Adobe Pro. People who just read with Adobe may not need that. I'm not those people -- and no - we don't want to have to press F4, which I just found out by searching online in my very busy day - after many frustrating openings…

  20. Acrobat 2017 Pro crashes with "Adobe Acrobat 2017 has stopped working" with any operation within the app. The program opens but when doing anything e.g. using the menu, printing, etc. It seems there are many users with the same problem with XI, DC, 2017, Reader, etc. My system is a Win 10 X64. I have tried all the fixes on Adobe as well as the patch. Please offer a new fix to try.
