    Hi,

Thanks for reporting the issue to us. Can you please provide some more details :

    1. What font did you add via macOS font book?
    2. Do you see this scrambled interface only on save dialog? Can you please go to Home / My computer/ Document Cloud/ Add an Account section on the left hand rail and let us know if you observe the same issue on these screens.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  2. Using: Acrobat Pro DC

Request: Ability to set a global setting that hides the bookmarks panel whenever a new PDF is opened, as opposed to having to navigate to the initial view settings for each file and then save it.

Reason: I open a lot of PDF files from emails, as I'm sure thousands of other people do, with no intention of saving it in that instance. Or files from the internet, again with no intention of saving it. This is to VIEW the file and find content relevant to the task in hand. Having the bookmarks panel occupy a…

  3. I use the Accessibility tools every single day.

However, I have to manually re-add it to the tool panel each time that I log on, unless I just leave the computer on and locked (and IT does not run an auto-patch and restarts my computer without asking).

    ter locked.

Is there a way to set it add a tool permanently to the tool panel on a single computer (as with previous versions of Acrobat Pro)?

    Thanks.

  4. Every time I open a PDF the Acrobat window moves and resized. I have "restore last setting" unchecked. Very annoying when I'm editing other files from PDF markup and have to keep moving and resizing the Acrobat window, even if other pdf files are open in tabs and view has been set.

  5. Move the menu bar to title bar like Photoshop and stop wasting screen space. I always have to press F9 after opening each PDF file because I rarely use menus and they insist to be there to waste my time and space.

  6. preferences window is old and rusty. the fun part is when I select a category from left the window resizes and sometimes I have to move it to see the hidden settings out of the screen portion. it reminds me of the old apps in late 90s! you have to update it to open in a tab like internet browsers and be searchable.

  7. I'd rather the document not open fully until Acrobat DC Pro sorts itself out. The hang time in today's fast pace world eats away at me... Please fix!

  8. Please put some thought into the menu and tool system. Try to develop a logical interface with the goal of making it easy to use. Basically dump what you have now and either go back to earlier versions or start over. Consider hiring someone to manage the process.

  9. If I can't figure out a way to stop getting a massive bookmarks pane EVERY SINGLE TIME I open any file I am going to set my computer on fire.

The Wizard won't do it. Edit > Preferences > Restore last view setting when reopening documents won't do it. I can't mess with the system registry on a work computer so that won't do it. Do not tell me to tick the restore last view setting box.

Look at this bookmarks pane. Look at it.

  10. The new install of Adobe DC is terrible. There was no reason to change the user interface and make the program so MAC Like.

The changes to the interface are causing our agency to incur tremendous down time and loss of productivity. Nothing about the new user interface is intuitive or helpful!

Is there any way to reinitiate the older menu driven interface? We can not even utilize the certificate signing that was used regularly with the previous version of Adobe Acrobat.

  11. Hello,

    I'm using the following setup:
    Windows 10 Home 64bit, version 1803 (OS Build 17134.706)
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, version 2019.010.20099
    Two monitors, same resolution 1920*1200

One of my monitor has scaling enabled through Windows (display settings -> Scale and layout -> 125%). This will change the size of text, apps and other items.

When I open a PDF in one of my monitor and I drag this PDF to my other monitor (which has scaling on), the ruler changes (see screenshot). But when I measure using Measuring tool the correct values will be shown. In my opinion, this should…

  12. In the new version, give us back the expandable toolbar on the rightside. Should not have to do a tool search for item. (e.g. textbox)

  14. When dragging a PDF or Word document into the page thumbnails to add that document to the existing PDF document, the thumbnails occasionally fail to refresh, and show the incorrect page thumbnails.

E.g. If I drag a 3 page document file into page 50 of a 100 page PDF, the thumbnails will show the previous pages 50-52 until you close the thumbnail view and re-open it or scroll the thumbnail view past those pages forcing a refresh.

  15. I miss the feature that the Acrobat program window automatically minimized after closing the last opened PDF document. At the moment the Acrobat program window always stays open and hides the desktop.
I know of various keyboard shortcuts like WIN + Space + N or WIN + M, but the Acrobat program window should automatically minimize itself without additional action if the last opened PDF file was closed.
A setting in the Acrobat preferences for this behavior would also be conceivable and desirable.

  16. I have been disappointed with Acrobat Standard DC in touch mode. I could find nothing in your support section that helps me with this. In full screen mode, the highlight tool does not operate. (I can only use it to underline or strike through). Page navigation is tough. I have not found an easy way to get back to regular mode once I am in full screen mode. (I have to close the program and open it again.) It seems to me that given the high cost of the software, Adobe should have developed this feature so that it works…

  18. I was just "upgraded" to the new Adobe version. Please restore the Open file button. Dumbest idea ever to remove it and create extra clicks in order to open a file.

  19. For several months, regularly (but especially after using Find), a large rectangular block of the PDF document is blacked-out. I have to frequently refresh (using Ctrl-0 or Ctrl-1) to restore the PDF, but that is only a VERY TEMPORARY NON-FIX. THIS IS SUPER ANNOYING! Please fix it, Adobe!

    I use Acrobat Pro DC (v. 2015.006.30482) on a Windows 7 PC.

  20. Adjust the highlighting color for the search results or offer the option to adjust the color individual.

I am working in a big international company, working and searching in pdf documents is a daily doing and we are ALL struggling and loosing a lot of time just to find the highlighted results. This would be a life saver.
