  1. Having multiple tabs open at time it is hard to correctly organize them into things I already have read, things I need to go back to, or things that I have yet to look at. As a student it would be nice to have and easy way to organize them. My thought is if you could right click on a tab in the header and select a color scheme for it. Right now it only has the option to 'Close Tab' or 'Reopen Closed Tab.' Adding a simple color scheme here with possibly a sort function would allow those of…

  2. Action Wizard is missing the option to "Save a Copy"
This would be helpful to recreate files tagged with security labels that have had their fillable fields removed.

  4. Tool buttons should also collapse the Tools Pane not just expand it. Thus, you can eliminate the "Close" button. It's more intuitive to expand and collapse from the same button. This behavior already happens with the Navigation Pane buttons.

  5. Provide a means to disable the 'helpful' hints about using features, such as the blue box that pops up over tools, sending documents for signature. I am a long-time user and I know them all.

  6. You should be able to set defaults for zooming and scrolling preferences that would apply for all documents so that you do not have to repeatedly do so for every pdf document you open.

  7. I work with a lot of floor plans and need to compare them between different documents. What would save me a ton of time is being able to match the pan and zoom actions between two tiles windows. So that when I zoom or pan to an area in one window, the pan/zoom is duplicated in the other window. This should work weather the two windows are of the same document of completely different documents. I realize I would have to have both windows looking at the same area and at roughly the same zoom level before turning this feature…

  9. Please add additional default zoom percentages for 15" and 17" laptop screens. BACKGROUND: As a college student, I read a lot of academic articles and PDF textbooks. However, I get a little irritated every time that I have to manually type in a zoom percentage of 250% or 270% because the default percentages jump from 200% to 300% (which is TOO much)! I know. It's a menial request. But it would make a HUGE difference for someone in my situation. Thank you!

  10. For Windows PC, please provide a General Preference Option to close/exit the Acrobat Pro DC program when closing the only open tab/document.

We open a document then review, save and close it. The program window remains open thus blocking the desktop and forcing us to exit the program manually. While that sounds like a minor inconvenience or inconsequential, in reality its very frustrating and time consuming. We consider it to be a Quality of Life issue that disrupts workflow processes and would like to see it resolved.

An option to "Minimize window on final document/tab exit and maximize window…

  11. If you're using the darkmode, all the images turning to black and white. It is unpractical if you're reading a paper with some color-coded diagrams in it.
Suggestion: implement an option, do change the behavior of the darkmode.

  12. Microsoft Edge overwrites the default pdf program no matter how many times you change it back. You cannot even delete Edge to get it to stop doing it. Microsoft denied that it is possible for their program to change my default app without my permission when I contacted their tech support. Adobe should sue Microsoft. This is very frustrating, especially when you paid for the program and Microsoft can do this without your permission.

  13. Hi There,

I am not sure if I am posting this under the correct category as there does not seem to be one that matches my issue / suggestion.

I work for a Staffing and Recruiting company as a recruiter. As such, I look at many resumes that people send to me via email. Most of them are in .PDF format. Because I call people and leave messages for them to call me back, I often have multiple resumes open at once in case they call me back to discuss a job opportunity. I have them open to save time…

  14. I build most of my presentation decks in Illustrator and export to PDF for Acrobat. It would be useful to have my cursor act like a red-dot laser pointer for presentations.

Now that so many meetings are remote (Zoom) it would be nice to have more robust presentation features.

PowerPoint has this feature, but I hate PowerPoint.

  15. The uselessness of the chopped up methodology to customize the quick menu is ridiculous. It would be much simpler if you adopted a process similar to that in Excel. Just where the h3ll is the zoom icon hiding.

  17. A few days ago Adobe Acrobat updated, and now the File > Save As dialog box comes up blank. Now I am reduced to just saving the file and then saving it to a another file pathname using Windows Explorer. :-(

  19. Move the menu bar to title bar like Photoshop and stop wasting screen space. I always have to press F9 after opening each PDF file because I rarely use menus, and they insist on being there to waste my time and space.

  20. It would be nice if Adobe could just save the file to the current location when we press "ctrl" + "s" it is a bit annoying when you have to select the folder every time want to save a small change. I moved to using edge to open my pdf because it is quick to save and I don't need to select which folder I want to save
