  1. I publish gov't docs for public review. For reasons too boring to explain, I now have to put the figures that go with the text in an appendix way at the end of the pdf and not just on the next page where they are referenced in the text. So now the figures are at the end of the pdf. I want to Acrobat to add a feature that would open a new window for a link within one pdf. This would allow the public to clink on a link to a figure, open the figure in a separate window…

  2. Adobe Scan app advert pops open every time I open a new set of files. I was working on combining many file groups all afternoon and had to stop and close your advertising 6-8 times. The worst part is that I downloaded the app after the first time, so it is unnecessary in every way as well as annoying and a waste of my time.

  3. Opening and closing multiple files that are approximately 4 MB causes this to occur. It is almost as if DC feels that closed files are still open.

Virtual memory is dynamic and typically starts at 16 GB, RAM 16 GB. Online thoughts for fixes are unsuccessful. If not fixed by subscription end, I go back to Acrobat Pro XI. The features of DC are minimized when the software crashes so often.

  4. I would like, if I have a file open with, for example, the Comment toolbar opened, I would like other files opened in the same window to also open with the Comment toolbar open.

This does not need to be set as a default when loading the first file, nor does it need to override the toolbar setting in each tab when I change tools; just when I open a new file, I don't want to have to reopen the same tool I'm using in the tab I already have open.

  5. Scrolling creates lines so I can't see the content. I have to click on the mouse after scrolling a tiny bit before I can see the content. So inefficient.

  10. Bookmark panel does not display accented or special characters. Text is fine but once bookmark is created, characters are not displayed correctly in bookmark panel.

    e.g. s´odico, c´apsula instead of sódico, cápsula.

    Panel does not display: á, é, í, ó, ú ü, Á, É, Í, Ó, Ú, ñ, Ñ.

  12. Every time I open a PDF/A compliant document, a toolbar message shows up (see attachment). The only way to close it is by clicking on "Enable Editing," to which you are warned about its consequences.

It would be great if I could close it without Enabling Editing. It would be even better if this message only showed up if I tried to edit the document in first place.

  13. There's a lot of opportunities to grab the screenwriting market: you can tie your screenwriting product into the rest of your creative suite by adding a graphical component to it, like storyboards. Don't give up too soon on a product. Sincerely, Bill.

  14. My Adobe Acrobat 2017 which is brand new (previous old version had this problem too so I bought the updated version) is crashing whenever the program is opened or a file is opened. Attached are the error messages it's giving. I've run a repair and checked for updates and this still occurs. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the program and it still occurs.

  16. A next/previous file tool would be very helpful for navigation. When trying to look at multiple documents back to back, I have to open up each document rather than having one window where I can change the file that I am editing.

  17. eye tracking tool is used in cameras. if user agree to be tracked, document can be linked to camera of laptop or tablet or mobile phone. so document reading becomes more interactive. this information is stored in the document and this tracking info can be tagged to document and emailed to acrobat document creator (teacher). who can analyze this data, will determine that you have read the document or not, where you felt the difficulty and it will help him to plan the lesson/ flipped class room session. it can be used for assessment of learning in e-learning session. this…

  18. Button in the icon bar to toggle »page cover view« on or off.

This would be extremely helpful for displaying and proof reading of book or journal PDFs in two page mode, which where originally exported as single pages.

  19. Since a few months ago, PDF documents are opening off screen - after the firs PDF is open. So the first PDF we open is in the expected place and size. The second PDF opens on the main screen at a size that cuts off the top of the window so you cannot just grab and move it. I've searched help pages for months, and all of them are geared toward the users working around this bug. We have been doing this, but it seems like a very fixable issue. 20. Searching for item as shown, when it finds it in the graphic it selects extra text! (Is there no check that the selection only includes the search and then trims if necessary?)
